Isle de Los Tiberons

Isle de Los Tiberons is an island to the southwest of the Island of the three sisters. It's about six square miles in area. It's a mix of rocky ground and swamps with woodland in between. It gets it's name because the surrounding reefs are infested with all manner of sharks.

With Sharks in the water, it makes fishing dangerous. The swamps are inhabited by a species of buffalo that are as dangerous as their cape cousins. What's more there is something on the island big and mean enough to regard the buffalo as prey.

Currently there is a stockade on the eastern side of the island. This is where Matt and those willing to risk it are making a go at the island.

In reply to Island Spirit (msg # 1):

Teruo never really got the hang of this peace thing. War is what he has known, and there is plenty of battles to be had. He tried to get to know some of the local ladies, but most seemed to lack resilience, or just not like him. Probably more the latter...his social skills in Japan were never premiere, and this was a far cry from that society. He looked to find ways to help, and the outpost sounded inviting. Something to use his skills, and prove himself. He had been with the small group with Matt, and had been involved in attacking the massive creature. It had returned to the depths with cuts from his blade...mere scratches given it's size, but perhaps enough to attract others of it's kind to attack it.

But now, there were other challenges. Getting ammunition was a challenge in itself. Fortunately, he had his blade as well.

Isle de Los Tiberons

And for managing to keep people alive, Matt is now running this island as a colony. Most people have decided to remain on the tourist island as they feel safer there. Not that anywhere is really safe at the moment.

Currently the colony consists of a cove, an improvised dock, a Lookout on a point of rock overlooking the cove, and a group of huts surrounded by a stockade.

You have a variety of people here. Some tourists who are more adventuring types, Some Germans willing to risk things, Some Wolfkin, Orcs on "probation" and some Lizardfolk. The lizardfolk have for the most part disappeared into the marshes. They reappear to trade with the colonists. The Orcs were somewhat troublesome, Terou had to decapitate a few to make a point or two. The remaining seem to be strong workers with a bit of leadership and supervision. The Wolfkin have gathered together in a Pack. The Dwarves have armed the Wolfkin with weapons that they can understand. Mostly swords and black powder rifles.

In addition to some very aggressive waterbuffalo there is a Beast on the island. It has tried to attack the Lookout. The people there managed to hold it off until help came. They didn't get a good look at it but it left claw marks very high on the rocks. A group of Orcs tried to go after the beast in order to establish dominance. They were torn to shreds by the Beast.

Currently it's a fine morning and there is rather improvised Makizushi available. The ingredients are not "right" but it's rice, seaweed and fish in a roll.

In reply to Island Spirit (msg # 3):

After the years of much less, Teruo is happy with his lot. The Makizushi is good, but this large dinosaur is a lot of trouble. So are the orcs. It would seem the best way to deal with both is to lead one lot against the other. But he wanted more information on this thing. He offered to stay at the lookout with the scout until it showed up again. It would seem the lookout was a great place for him. High up with his rifle...he took all his stuff up there and erected a camp site. He did not have a lot of grenades, but he made sure he had them all. Ammunition too, on him at all times.

He noted when the last attack occurred. He expected another, so he looked around and waited, learning the landscape, the blind spots, and the fauna. And eating the last of the Makizushi...

Matt climbs up to the lookout.

"So you are going to stay up here and act as tiger bait. Mind you that whatever is out there is not a tiger. It left claw marks nearly twenty feet up the face of this point. "

He looks south at what is turning into a large village.

"So how much do you know about Silvie?"

He asks.

"I know that you have worked for her. So has Sharn.I'm not sure how much we can really trust her. Sharn was recruited by Silvie and ended up working on something for over a year. When she was done a week had passed here. Yeah the benefits are great but there is stuff involved that even Orc are uncomfortable with."

"We need a lookout. Without one, there will be a bloodbath in camp when it gets there. Here, we have a chance. The last lookout survived, did he not?"

When the talk comes to Sylvie, he responds

"I am not sure about her. Can't say I find her entirely to do what I want, but then she is powerful enough that what I want does not matter. She says and does things as she pleases, and I stay out of her way, or do what she says. She is like the Emperor I grew up under. She is in charge, and it is our lot to follow. If she does not have our interests at heart, then there is little we can do about it."

Isle de Los Tiberons

The young elf-blooded maid rolls over onto her side coughing the last remaining bitter sea water from her lungs.. her sun golden hair spills around her like a pool of golden fire.. if a bit sandy, though mostly sun dried at this point.  Her breath comes in choking gasps her mind a swirl with shock that she did not drown!  Lifting a hand to try to brush her long tresses from her face her arm she realizes is tangled in her travel pack straps... heavy with water logging and she realizes with all the waterproofing and air tight bottles, lantern, sealed tent pack, that it was likely the bouncy of the heavy pack that saved her from a watery doom!

Resting her hand upon the still wet back pack she checks herself to see if she bears any injuries... her breastplate, and metal weapons still efficiently {if tangled} about her... but her blood stains neither the gear or the sands and she lifts her emerald green eyes to the near noonday sun... she can feel its energies fill her and refresh ~ singing to her magical reserves within... filling her with power!

Almost in response a shadow crosses the solar orb as a great hunting eagle of strangely crimson feathers swoops from the trees to gracefully alight upon her shoulder... his weight more startling on her shoulder than his presence as the familiar tingle in her mind fills her with relief of soul if not body. A..feeling more than words fills her mind {Mistress?}

She groans slightly with his weight but replies verbally, "Ah.. hello my dear friend.. Kyrie... my heart soars with yours that I'm not alone and you lived through the Warpstorm... but my bold friend please not my shoulder until some strength returns to my weakened body?"

In immediate response the large red Eagle flutters with a full 6 foot wingspan to change his perch to the drier if still waterlogged pack beside her.

Slowly but steadily the half-blood lass stands to take in the fullness of her surroundings.

She is lovely to the eyes, lean of figure, compactly clad in leather armor and breastplate that hug her every curve.  Only standing 5'4" or so her weapons seem out of place on her feminine frame consisting of a paired and scabbard broadsword and shortsword, and a long curved knife at her waist. Grimacing she untangles her heave cloak and shield at her shoulder to pull her bow from the quiver of arrows at her shoulder.

A sour expression graces her brow as she contemplates stringing the bow.. but decides to wait until she has a more secure location to asses if it or her bowstring need replacement... best not to rely on it until then.

No threats seem ready to present themselves... she she gathers her cascades of sungold hair from the tangle at her back and legs, revealing her slender delicately pointed ears, to pull a leather tie from her gloves to keep the hair out of her way until she has a proper time to comb it in camp.

Then casting her gaze about she spots the nearby rocky hillside and wonders what lands she has washed upon, and where is the wreakage of her vessel and fellow crew?

She begins concentrating upon the inner arcane fires within her soul to check the mana level of this realm.. as in Yurth mana levels can vary from land to land.. best to know know if her magics work here...

She casts a quick and simple Aura spell and gazes at Kyrie first then the surroundings to gauge how prevalent magic is here... best to know  before she tries later in need.

Isle de Los Tiberons

Trina gazes around for a few seconds 'reading' the aura of the plant-life and vermin insects or animal life she can spot.. a relief fills her knowing this land has a normal manna level... and curiously.. a living spirit as well to her surprise!  She decides that fact may need further investigation later on once she has secured shelter.

Satisfied she releases the spell and crouching to her pack she stretches forth her hand and drawing on her powerstone casts an equally simple heat spell, to rapidly dry her pack and gear ...bow and strings included... humming a soft tune while she completes the process.

[16 or less] 11 - spell successfully cast

Carefully controlling the heat spell Trina lightly heats her gear piece by piece rapidly switching to another to keep from melting anything past just drying off all the resident moisture.  Very quickly everything is dry and lighter from the removal of the burdening moisture clinging to it.

With the manna of this locale being normal her consummate skill takes little to no energy at all to quickly dry her gear and she releases the spell.

With that Trina looks about again.. making sure no hostiles have come upon her.

16:55, Today: Trina rolled 13 using 3d6.  Perception-Awareness check. – 13 success, though ONLY just.

The location of the beach is too narrow to get a very good look at what lies around besides the rock beech-side hill behind her.. but nothing dangerous "seems" likely to bother her for a few minutes.

So Trina quickly braids her hair in a long single thigh-length braid casting it over her right hand side and pulls the hood of her cloak from her collar and pulls it up to conceal her features... the key action that activates is innate magic... to any who might be looking her direction her entire form seems to blur and shift with the surrounding terrain making her hard to differentiate for the beech and rocky hillside.  A simple blur spell as part of the cloak's enchantment.. no guarantee but a measure of precaution in a strange land while she works on getting her bearings.

She takes a seat, crossing her legs in a meditative lotus position and gazes at Kyrie... still perched upon her pack...

Muttering in an undertones, 'when eyes meet eyes soul meets soul... let us soar my friend'

And stretching for her will she touches the familiar's mind and then they are one... her vision blurs and shifts perspective as she now gazes at.. Herself sitting on the beech hooded head slightly bowed, emerald eyes vacant and features fading in a blur from the magic of the cloak all seen through Kyrie's eyes!

{Fly, FLY!}, she mentally urges and the great crimson eagle takes flight with her a Rider Within him to get a look at the lands she now finds herself an alien resident in... soaring on the winds in the hot noon breeze...

Casting Spell from Familiar - Rider Within [17 or less]
17:10, Today: Trina rolled 16 using 3d6.  Casting Familiar spell - Rider Within. – 16 - spell successfully cast.

It is then Trina notices how weary her dear friend is as the bond does not come easily almost failing {I'm sorry, my friend.. I'll not trouble you long.. just a quick circle and you can rest!}

To which Trina puts her mind to be a fast as she can getting the lay of the lands she is in.. the shipwreak has indeed taxed both their powers and endurance!  She must know if any of the crew or fellow passengers are arrived and if they are in need of her aid!

Getting the "bird's eye" she estimated the Settlement was perhaps three to four miles distant as the crow flies... though with the marshes and forest she would not be able to straight-line it likely.

Soothing her thoughts to Kyrie, {Thank you my friend... I know where to begin and a destination... come back and rest.}

Withdrawing her mind from Kyrie her senses shifted and she was back viewing the beech from her meditative posture.

Standing she looked around again to survey her possition from her current location.  Noting the direction of an easier slope she spotted from the air to ascend the rocky hill from the beech.  Picking up her pack and shouldering its weight she made for the ascent.

Distantly she could feel Kyrie approaching focusing her thoughts to him, {Hunt for prey my friend take your rest and feed... if I need you I will call later}.  And back across the mystical familiar bond she felt his gratitude as he soared free seeking prey to sate his hunger.

The fact reminded Trina she was also hungry... as it must have been many hours since her last meal and her pack held no travel rations... as it was all hands on deck when the warpstorm was at it most violent for what seemed like and eternity ago.

"Well I'm not going to eat anything if I don't get to that settlement any sooner..."

Grimacing she set herself to climbing the hopefully easier slope of the rocky hill to the more gentle terrain of the isle's interior.

Isle de Los Tiberons

Trina ascends the hill with ease from the beech seeking a little high ground to assess the best path from the beech toward the settlement to the east.  Instinctively she avoids the marshes favoring the patch of vegetation growing near the beech's edge.

Once the rocky hill is cleared... she pauses briefly... to draw in turn her thrusting-broadsword, shortsword and large knife... resheathing them in order to loosen them in their sheaths from the water-logging and magic drying ~ exercising a quickdraw three times to make sure they were ready for use when needed.

Then she strings her bow and tests its pull loosening her arrows in their quiver also exercising a few quickdraws to ready them for use.  Satisfied she slings her bow, settles her leather helm from its neckstrap onto her head.

Preparations ready she takes a deep breath mentally settling herself for the unknown, 'Just like father Trina!'

Pulling her magical cloak's hood up to blur her image she set out toward the forest edge to skirt north of it toward the second mountain..volcano cone. She saw a river near it that led to the settlement.. but was unsure on foot if skirting it north or south would be faster?  Though avoiding the marsh to the north of it seemed more prudent.

She sighed but first the forest must be reached... so with an even stride she set out... a simple mental call to Kyrie informed her familiar her path he would pace her at his leisure... whatever threats she was to encounter she hoped with martial and magical skill she could avoid and serious conflict until she reached the settlement.

[Navigation 13 of less] 09:40, Today: Trina rolled 13 using 3d6.  Navigation check. – 13 - Success

Her bearings found... she set out into the wilds of this new mysterious isle...

NOTE: The Magic of her cloak is a very weak enchantment a blur spell imposing a -1 to hit from attack rolls made against her.  It does not 'conceal' her.. just makes her a little tricky to target.  Blur is NOT a spell Trina knows..she did not enchant the cloak.

Nope he is not aware of any new Shipwrecks. \\

Matt answers.

"The lookout survived because there is about a twenty foot vertical section of Rock and despite trying the creature could not climb up it. Had it made it up here the lookout would be as dead as the Orcs who went after it."

Matt continues about Silvie.

"I know that she's some sort of minor goddess. She's frighteningly powerful. The Orc who's shacked up with me, Sharn, did a job for one of Silvie's minions. She doesn't talk much about the job but while it was a week here it was over a year for her. She saw things that scare her badly. Some 'minor' problem that Silvie needed fixing turned into a major issue. "

Then she will couch keeping the herd animal in her near peripheral vision looking for tracks to see if she may have journeyed into a grazing range for a herd of the beasts.  Trying to note if she can spot any more of them.

She will not approach it, but will try first to find any spore or mud around her to rub upon her armor...to conceal her scent.

Only then will she try to skirt the beast seeking to move up wind of it... giving it a wide pass, Especially if she spots any young with it or near it staying WELL away from them!

Teruo,
Matt thanks you for your opinions. He leaves the lookout and heads back to the main camp. Soon enough a couple of German boys and a well armed female Orc show up at the base of the Lookout. Normally Orcs carry their rather primitive weapons. This one has a Sturmgewehr as the Germans call it. It seems that she earned it by doing a job for Silvie with some others from the islands. Not everyone made it back alive from the job.

The Orc, who goes by Sharn, speaks to Teruo.

Trina is... perplexed.

Thinking, 'On the surface the buffalo appears to be a ...herd animal.  But its behaving more like a carnivore?  Is it perhaps a predator? Most herd animals do not pursue a non-threatening creature moving away from them.'

Trina ponders the terrain and how close she is to the forest... she thought it was not that far a journey to the forest and the settlement.  Are these grasslands?

She is reluctant to cast fire magics here for fear of harming other animals should a wildfire start... but the buffalo must outweight her by 5 to 7 times ... and [now] only armed with a shortsword... she could inflict very little damage to it if it charged her!

Then something frightens a flock of birds to the south... out in the open exposed is a bad place to be.

Trina decides to ready a flamejet spell gathering the energy as she breaks into a jog Due East for the Treeline and perhaps some shelter from the pursuing bovine... and away from whatever spooked the nearby birds to the South at least she could climb a tree to avoid it if needed. She is Very much reluctant to kill or unleash fire on a grassland unless its a last resort!

Stretching out her mind to Kyrie she sends, {Trouble.  Come to me!}

Sharn looks at Teruo. She cocks her head and frowns around her tusks. She then takes off her backpack and takes out a nylon pouch. She opens up the pouch and it contains a gun cleaning kit. She then sits down. She takes the scope off her rifle and then removes the dustcover. The bolt of the rifle soon follows and she checks the barrel. As she starts to clean her rifle she starts to speak.

We Orcs are quite possibly built for war. We have out gods and most of them are brutal and cunning. We grow up with pain and suffering. We fight amongst ourselves and we are ruled by the strongest. As a female I have had to fight just to be regarded as something more than a hole to stick a dick into. I earned my name of ‘Tuskbreaker’ by breaking the face of any male who gave me lip. That air attack killed most of our warriors. Silvie was right to spare the women and children of we Orcs. Most foes would have slaughtered us all and slept like babies afterwards. After the bombing I ran away blindly and seen to have found a hole in your lines. My flight was stopped by an Elf. We Orcs hate Elves for the most part. Our species has generations of bad blood between us. Of course I attacked her. I did not know that she was a gods champion and could see the future. When I awoke she had an offer for me. I took the offer. I was joined by a group from both the island and off of it. We were to track down and stop a man who was traveling between worlds and causing havoc. We jumped between worlds trying to prevent their actions. In a time called Prohibition we picked up a detective. With his help we were much more effective. Our Quest was interrupted by a group of bandits able to jump across worlds. For a while we were stuck on an Earth with people in colorful clothing and strange powers. The Detective stayed there as he was needed. We managed to stop the bandits from stealing something of great power. I took the leader’s pistol as my own. We had more encounters with our true foe. Eventually we tracked him down to his lair. He had found a talesman of something wrong. His minions started to change as the talesman took over him. We managed to stop him from summoning Something terrible.

Sharn cleans her rifle and reassembles it. She then cleans her pistol.

Re: Isle de Los Tiberons

Trina,

You are so focused on running away that you don't notice that the Buffalo is gone. One moment it's standing there then something snatches it off it's feet. You don't see the poor buffalo getting render limb from limb. As you are running you find yourself through the trees and into an open area with what seems to be a wooden shack on a point before you.

Teruo,

Sharn replies.

"We Orcs are young. Most of us are children by your standards. By the rules of you humans I'm barely an adult. Think about generations of children with no real leadership and discipline. Untold years ago someone gave orcs weapons and told them to kill someone else. We have been doing so for longer than any Orc can remember. We now have other ways, your ways. If there are enough Orcs of cunning we can become something more than a ravaging horde. We are learning about discipline and order. We will probably always be a bit chaotic but we can build something Orcish that lasts."

She takes out her handgun and unloads it for cleaning.

"I like Matt as he is a good man for me. He's kind to me, yet rough when I need him to be. He's not an Orc and I don't want him to act like one. He's a human and your kind are cunning yet brutal. I have seen what you have done to your own kind in your wars. I have learned about how you wage war. I can use your weapons as well as one of your soldiers. Right now we have a small number of weapons in your hands. We Orcs are not ready for such weapons yet. "

As far as outside the lookout goes. To the west Teruo sees something running through the bush as if it's being chased.

Trina stops to look back over her shoulder trying to discern what happened to the predator buffalo.  But she sighs in relief whatever happened to it... its no longer stalking her.

Turning back to the open area she spots the Wooden shack and walks toward it casting her gaze about to see if there are inhabitants about...

To any watching... a pretty young elf-girl{?} tightly clad in leather armor that hugs her shapely feminine form and armed with a shield, shortblade, knife and bow & Quiver at her back walks into the opening.  Her thigh long sun-gold hair is tousled by the breeze, as well as the travel cloak at her shoulders.  She casts her gaze about the opening looking for any occupants revealing her lovely bright green eyes.

Her scent caught on the breeze is a mix of flowers and the earthy hint of compose...

Surprisingly she called out in English with an almost British Accent, "Hello is anyone here?"

Re: Isle de Los Tiberons

Trina looked over the seemingly empty shack... but when no reply came she began to feel particularly exposed.

'Nothing says the inhabitants will not be hostile? I'd better be ready to defend myself... I could be walking into an ambush.'

The elf girl drew readied her shield and uttered a few words cast a shield spell [2 cost]... and suddenly a bluish glow suffused her spreading from her hand-held shield to cover her entirely.

She looks up and swooping down to land upon her shoulder a large Reddish feathered hawk landed and perched. She smiles stroking its wing feathers gently.

Then turning to the hut uttered another word and a her left hand glowed with flames as she readied a flame jet spell.  Her magical powers ready.. her expression turn determined and she began to search the area for signs of habitation.  She does not attempt to enter the hut yet but is more concerned about finding any signs of habitation and identifying any ambush locations exterior to the hut before investigating it further - to make sure there are no hostiles around.

She does seem to be looking systematically for tracks though has not found any as yet...

Now that she's closer as she walks the area, its clear.. she is not as thin and reedy as a real elf, her delicate ears being only slightly pointed and she is for a 'seemingly' teen-aged girl, kind of busty for an elf... she may have some human blood in her heritage!

But clearly.. she is magical.

Ready to cast flame jet if needed.

"What do you want, Elf?"

She seems more curious than outright hostile. it's unusual for an Orc. Many of them would have bad intentions towards Trina.

They are of very similar ethnicity to you I believe. I have always wanted to visit Sahud to see their exotic art and dress!"

Then she notes his rifle, "Is that a Firearm...? Then maybe you are from Earth?"

Taking a position on their battlements beside the two warriors.

"I can aid in the defense against a large beast... I'll prepare an Explosive fireball."

She begins to concentrate and at first nothing happens. Looking up she flushes at her cheeks in embarrassment, but says nothing and tries again.

Re: Isle de Los Tiberons

In reply to Island Spirit (msg # 74):

Trina watches as the great lizard leaps from the forest cover to take down the Cape Buffalo and just as fast get back under cover.

Then the bloom of magic to the East out across the waves draws her attention...

She comments absently, "Teruo, that great lizard is no beast.  It's intelligent... an Apex predator with no rivals does not behave that way."

"And there is a really powerful spellcaster to the East... over the waves. I cannot stress HOW POWERFUL..whoever that is, but know for me to detect whatever they cast at this range without even concentrating to feel it, their power is Reality Breaking!"

Turning back to where the Great Lizard attacked, "We are not ready to fight this creature, it moves with a speed and a malevolent hunting intelligence... it will not come here or move from its cover unless its ready to kill.  You will need to lure it out of cover, it will not come here."

Trina slowly dismisses her Explosive Fireball reclaiming as much of the energy she put into the spell as she can... yet still the exertion is clear upon her tired expression.

"What is the direction to the community... I'd like to get some food and rest?"

She looks off into the distance and a reddish feathered Eagle swoops down to land upon her shoulder...

Teruo gestures to the small settlement below.

"That would be the place to rest. We will stay on guard.

It may be an intelligent predator, but so are we. That is why we need to wait for it, or lure it out. But unless you have an idea how to lure it out without risking lives, and probably loosing them, then we will continue guarding. I think the beast we were looking for was bigger than that, though. So that one may not be the apex predator.

Oh, and the mage to the east may be Sylvie, a demi-goddess.

Trina grimaces, clearly wanting more info that she is getting about where she is.

She sighs, "Well.. I've been walking all day and would very much like to get something to eat and a bed to rest for a few hours."

"Good  fortune to your Guarding efforts but I'm pretty certain that beast will not be coming here in broad daylight.. its too easy to see out of the trees and it is smart enough to know not to show itself as a target.  You'll not lure it out into the open.. you must fool it into revealing itself."

She turns and following the direction Teruo indicated walks away... toward the settlement... Red-feathered Eagle perched upon her shoulder.

Trina:

You find a village that has a partial wall surrounding it. the wall starts at a creek flowing from the interior and heads south. It appears that the inhabitants are building a palisade around the village.

A youth in a multicolored uniform holds a weapon similar to the other boys in his hands. Topping one end is a decent sized knife. He sees you and yells out.

"Halt, Who goes there?"

Teruo:

The beast seems to be toying with you. You watch as it deliberately rustles the brush just out of rifle range. You get glimpses of it's green scales. It seems that the creature is avoiding your shelter. if you didn't know any better you would think that it was trying to draw you out into the swamps it calls home.

Teruo,

You watch as Arthur, leader of the Wolfkin people, walking up to your lookout. He effortlessly climbs the rocky height. Slung over his shoulders is a flintlock rifle. While primitive it's a familiar technology for him. He had been trained to use muskets in his youth.

"Good day to you Terou. I see you are hunting a great beast. While i wish you good fortune, We have a greater use for your skills. We are sending a boat to the Main island to gather supplies. There is also talk of mounting an expedition to explore other nearby islands. If so your skills might be of use in finding more places for your people. While we are starting a community here there are still not enough homes for your people."

He gives you a tour of the village. He starts at the gate. Currently it's more of an opening in the ditches, ramparts and  palisade.

"One of the people we have is a fan of the Ancient roman Empire. they have a book on the Roman legions. We are copying their defensive plans."

Inside the camp it is well laid out with huts being made of local materials. As the camp gets more settled early shelters are improved or replaced.

His ears twitch.

"From the sounds of the local cattle the beast is elsewhere on the island. Should we find allies then we can take a group of men and those metal boxes with guns and sweep the island. For now we are not equipped to go looking for a fight."

Trina smiles sadly, "I'm sorry my arcane knowledge is not as complete as it should be... I'm only 25 and have not had very many years to learn, especially with no formal training in magic.  The elves of my homeland did not approve of my birth or presence. But my mother insisted on my being raised by her. So the elves did the best they could to ignore my presence by simply refusing to acknowledge it.  So everything I learned I learned by observing and self-teaching... though my mother taught as much as she could, most of my magic skill was learned sitting in on the classes the elves taught their elven students.  They could not very well refuse to acknowledge my presence if they would try to get me to leave!"

"I decided to learn the most flashy most obvious magics they could not ignore, instead of a broad base of magical knowledge I specialized in Fire Magics.  Until they could no longer ignore me, that is when I decided to leave and search the world for my father."

"I'm not planning on making a home here.. but I'm no precisely in a hurry to leave either... eventually I know I'll discover the magic to allow me to return home and continue my search for my human father.  But that is long term for now."

She observes all closely during the tour noting the fortifications being constructed.

"I am also a warrior skilled in tactics, and survival, tracking, navigation, stealth and trap making. I will be more than willing to donate my skills to the efforts of the Ram-packed earthen-works and Motte and Bailey construction... the Elves of the Great Wood use such fortifications interspersed among trees and Very cunning and lethal traps to hide their bastions of defense as well.  I'm fairly familiar with such earthen works."
