question, how can someone be loyal to an empire that, according to the game info, does not even exist yet, as the person who was in charge of it's formation does not even know what a Sith is, or is this just something that got overlooked by the gm's.

Would say that it was overlooked by both them and myself. This was a character that I made quite a while ago and tried to adapt by adding some stuff onto it. As such, I didn't edit her history before sending in the RTJ. The history is one of the most overlooked part of an RTJ (in my experience) so they likely just didn't catch it. I hadn't meant for my character name to actually be Darth Emre either, it was an add-on from a past version of the character.

As you are aware, this game veers off from the accepted canon, given that in the time of the Republic we have a thriving sith presence greater than the rule of two that is current in the official time line. I have accepted Darth Emre as being loyal to that greater sith collective, or 'Sith Empire', rather than the galactic empire that is established with palpatine. That is at least my interpretation of the backstory and why I approved it.
