Re: Intro

Damn, looks like I am going to be moving, not sure when I will be back on line. Hoping February? This is a busy time for a lot of people, so hopefully it wont be a huge inconvenience, but feel free to let me know if you want to drop out.

Merry Christmas, Festive Festivus, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Holidays...

Re: Intro

I know our DM is dealing with some life issues right now and in the midst of an out-of-state move, but I wanted to check in and let everyone know I enjoyed playing in this game for the short time I was around. Unfortunately, real life has sidelined our DM and it's been two months since we last had any in-game activity and my interest in this game has waned.

Thanks DM for giving me a chance to play a very cool character, albeit for a brief time, and best of luck to the rest of you if/when the adventure gets underway again. Give those Snow Orcs hell!

Re: Intro

The dust begins to crumble, slowly at first, like a broken hourglass.  Soon the pieces became larger as the grime encrusted warrior slowly stirs.  The large matting of cobwebs begin to break their moorings, cloaking the figure in a strange veil.

"Who goes there?", his voice cracks with dryness. "That voice seems somehow familiar."

Re: Intro

Wow, I didn't know anyone was still here.

Feeling energetic today, but no clue if it will last. I've been telling the tale of your battle on the edge of the fjord a lot of late. To be honest, I was pleased all of this was still here, thought it would have been deleted long ago.

Sad my pictures all now say "Photobucket" on them. Ruins the decor...

How have you been?

Re: Intro

Health is a wreck, life is kinda of shitty, but honestly, nothing to complain about. I have my own tiny town home I am buy, never thought I would be an owner.
My attention span is crap, I can almost never even watch a TV show all the way thru in one go, usually wander away within ten minutes.
Years ago I was potentially exposed to Mad Cow, and I wonder if that is an issue. I don't feel like 58 is old enough to explain this kind of mental decrepitude. But I don't think I can commit to DMing anymore, not even sure I could focus well enough to play, sadly.
Hows by you guys? Staying safe I hope?

Staying safe, and as sane as possible.  Fortunately, can work remotely for an almost indefinite amount of time.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties.  I hope you can find an explanation.

Re: Intro

I am going to dangle my toe into DMing again, but I am starting with a simpler game. If things go well, this will be the second game I  try to bring back. At my best I could run about four, and play in about four more more. For now I expect to be DMing only for awhile. Take it slow. I expect to have a sense of my capabilities in about a month, maybe less.

Eh, a firm grasp on reality is over-rated.  I'm looking forward to completely losing what remaining faculties I have to old age.  Short shorts with exposed testes at the park, here I come :D
