At Hawk's words, Krysnys looks to Hallid. Her undead eyes are completely devoid of all emotion. She looks entirely empty.

Bart's ghostly figure appears between panian and Hawk. "Calm down man...can't you see everyone is dead here? Maybe we can help them out? Look at her...Bart points at Loranys....don't you want to help her?"

Hallid leaves Charani and goes to Krysnys. "Everything will be OK...I promise you....this ghost is spouting off nonsense...we can trust Panian...would Nymeria have brought him back if we couldn't?"

Panian still makes no aggressive movements or stance, but still has his weapons drawn.

"I suppose I was mistaken, Hawk. You are the true hero who could do no wrong. Everyone will love you and defend you regardless of the sins you commit or the hatred you cling to. I have reformed much since I was dead. Prove to us you are capable of the same. The conversation with Hallid is private. It is between him and I."

Krynys looks intently at his face. She says nothing.

Loranys looks from Hawk to Panian and says "ONE of you needs to tell us what you know, instead of playing this showmans' game, daring each other to do it.  ONE of you needs to step up to the plate.  WE ALL OWE IT TO EACH OTHER."

Panian looks back and nods to Hallid. He puts his weapons away.

"Thank you for your kind words Hallid."

"You are right...oh noble Panian...how could I forget how reformed you have become? I seem to recall that this used to be a group where everyone discussed things and didn't keep secrets from each other...oh...other than you of course....you always did have your private conversations and secrets didn't you....but you are reformed now...I apologize..." with that his ghostly figure bows mockingly in Panian's direction and disappears....

Hallid looks around at everyone:

"Let's go back to the temple at Nartok where death was made. I am sure there is something there that can help us return to life. We should go there immediately. Let Goya and Grandmother Nichia fend for themselves....we have enough on our plates than to worry about them." He looks at Krysnys for support.

Krysnys shrugs and says quietly, "We never had secrets, either. And now we have lost our child, but you'd rather block me out and talk to Panian."

She takes a deep breath and follows Loranys out.

Panian sits, even though since being a ghost he doesn't get tired or feel the need to sit. It is simply what one does. He looks to Hallid and holds up his hand and nods. To anyone listening, he says

"In my time of death before, I learned of ways in which we may be able to destroy Azalin and also find Joey. We need to return to the temple of Nartok."

Charani shuffles her cards, glances at Vito, and also leaves. Her touch lingers on the Dark Lord card. Maybe if she focuses on that card hard enough, it will lead her to the child.

Panian looks to Hallid with sorrowful eyes.

"I am sorry that she finds the need to leave with Loranys, my friend, but she has been through a great deal. I hope that through time, we can piece together the mystery of where your child is. That is what is most important now.
