Loranys feels such a mix of emotions; sorting them out is going to be a process for her.  She will need to set this aside so she can focus on the adventure at hand, and the dangers that loom.  However, her immediate reaction is that: 1. She is SO glad she expressed openly her support of Nymeria this afternoon.  She said it, and she meant it.  However, she wavered because of her sudden, recently developed loyalty to Mokellos. 2.  This causes some angst for her: is she so easily swayed by evil?

3. As far as Panian himself and his return: obviously, she still feels a strong attachment.  So strong that she had vowed never to love (or act on it anyway) again.  But: Panian and she had a tortured relationship, and so she feels slightly burdened by his return.  Suddenly, her heart is no longer hers.  And, she doesn't know which Panian this is: the Panian who loved her or the one who loved Arabelle, not to mention his vampiric state and all the drama around him the last year of his life.  Maybe this Panian won't even remember her or will remember but not realize how complicated their situation is, or will know all of that but just won't have any emotional attachment to her at all.

She knows she will need to assume nothing; just be a friend to him and especially to Nymeria as the group mends fences and finds their way again. But she will likely be quiet and guarded as she sees how things play out.

Right now all that Charani can say is that she feels like things happened too fast. She can't jump from distrusting Ephaula/Nymeria to trusting her again so quickly. She would react the same if things had turned out the other way. She feels her connection with the group waning rapidly as the people she thinks she knows turn out to be complete strangers.  She also doesn't know how to handle the return of Panian. Granted, she did not know him as well as other members of the group, but she feels like they have somehow robbed Fate by returning someone to life that everyone had moved on and accepted as dead.  To be back here again so soon has upset her sense of reality greatly.

Krysnys is so confused! Lots and lots of feelings all at once! She is happy that she was wrong about Nymeria/Ephaula leading them into a trap set by Soth (or so they think, for now) and she is thrilled to see Panian alive. But it is a lot to digest. She was finally coexisting peacefully with Mokellos and (other than the bloodbath) accepting Ephaula's rituals.

She really missed Panian a lot and was one of his greatest defenders until pretty much the very end when his curse rendered him basically indefensible. She continued to fight on his behalf after his death.

*on a fully personal note, she knows that her grief over his death, partnered with her initial STRONG disdain for Mokellos, drove her to Hallid physically which (their first time together) resulted in this baby in her belly.

She had longed for his opinion and conversation many, many times since his death and was crushed repeatedly by the memories, particularly of his last days with the group. She feels very strongly that they were all responsible for his death with their complacency after things not remaining real after exiting the other mirrors, and the complacency reminded her of previously trusting that nothing bad could really happen to Theo during his Gruumpsch experience. Now that he has returned, she wonders if he will have experienced anything like the change that occurred in Theo or if he will be back to his old self (vampiric or not).

Theodoric is elated but keeps his chill.

Wrt Panian's return: "I have felt all along that panian's death was one of the worst failures of this group.  Our botched attempts to help him left him and Hawk and Bart dead. But now he gets a new lease on life. And with his return, the whole group gets a new lease. I welcome him back and I forgive everything. I no longer blame him for what happened to Hawk and Bart. And I forgive us all, including myself, for our failures that led to those three deaths. I say we all cleanse ourselves of guilt and grief and anger. Let us start anew."

Wrt Nymeria: "I am in awe. She did what we all failed to do. She saved Panian. And she did it alone... I wish it didn't have to be like that, but I understand. Mostly, I'm elated that she is indeed still Nymeria and the gifts of Lelothot did not corrupt her. I thought that Nymeria had given up on herself when she changed into Ephaula and the ritual self-mutilation began. I thought Nymeria was gone... that she essentially died and was replaced by Ephaula. I'm so glad that I was wrong about that.  I still worry about her, but the strength of will that it took Nymeria to do this thing,  to go into such darkness alone and return, it's a testament to the Purity of her soul and it encourages me. I am so happy to see my friend in this new light. I feel like two long lost friends have returned."

Welcome back Panian. A lot has happened since we last saw you. Charming people is off the table, fyi. And pleas try to behave yourself.

Nymeria is elated to have Panian back. However, she still doesn't know what her future is. Part of her is turned off from magic and all of its consequences. That part of her wants to abandon the warlock ways (and even her old wizard ways). The other part of her realizes that Lelothot has helped her become strong, and losing her warlock powers may hurt the group. She is pretty sure Lelothot would allow her to have her old appearance and name back, but she's not sure what the group would think if she remains a warlock. She is going to need some time to figure it all out (and possibly some advice). She is so thankful that the group trusted her enough to see Panian's return. Keeping such a big secret wasn't easy, and she didn't enjoy it (even though she did enjoy learning new magic). She was often grossed out by her actions as well, but couldn't tell anyone, as Mollekos had to believe she was all in.

In reply to Ephaula (msg # 8):

Upon his return, after awakening from his death while in the mirror, Panian greets everyone with a great deal of happiness and elation. But none more so than for Nymeria, whom he refuses to call Ephaula unless she were to request it from him. He embraces her for a long time, looking forward to commune with her and catch up on everything...

But then he stops his thoughts. He holds Nymeria's hand for a minute, and gets lost in the horrors she may have gone through to do this. He quickly realizes that she has lost a finger... He reflects upon her white hair and featureless eyes... The strange tattoo she now has. He begins to feel a sense of guilt. What has he requested of his friend? How much hell did she go through to do this for him? He knows that her sacrifice was what brought him back from the death and truly showed that his spirit was worth saving... But he worries at what cost. He knows that Mokellos, while at the time of his friendship with the group was not harmful, would have eventually grown into a near unstoppable force, so that reassures him. He begins to collect his things slowly from the group members who were holding them...

"Nymeria, whatever path you choose, I will never doubt you again. I always worry about the potentially corruptive power of magic that is gifted from a mysterious entity with unknown motive. Mokellos fell prey to it. But you are wiser than him and you are good-hearted. You are better equipped to deal with lelothot than he was. Should you choose to remain on that path, I trust you to proceed with caution.
I understand that you feel that you might be bound to that path because the group may need your powers. In this realm, it's your Purity of spirit that empowers us all. You need not follow or abandon any particular path on our account. Follow your heart and do what feels right. Don't compromise on that and you cannot err."

While watching everyone hug Panian and Nymeria, and listening to the exchanges among them, Loranys feels a deepening respect for Nymeria, and for what she was willing to do for her cousin. Not only was she willing--and able--to keep such a secret from us and Mokellos, she acted like a different person, becam a different person in all our eyes, changed her appearance and name...to bring back someone who was a part of the group but was also extremely divisive for us. Panian created a lot of angst for us and she did it anyway. Although Loranys defended him at the end, (thus killing Hawk), shedoes't know if she would have done (or, even willing, been able to do) the same.

Loranys wants to talk to N but gives her space to reunite with Panian and talk to everyone about the whole sitch. She worries too that Nymeria might think she is just using her to get closer to Panian.

Theodoric to Loranys PRIVATELY as Nymeria and Panian are having their moment:

Loranys, this all gives me so much hope. Second chances are so rare but we have all been granted a second chance. I am eager to see what he does with his. Perhaps as he realizes the sacrifice Nymeria made for him... perhaps as he reflects upon the costs Bart and Hawk paid because we all refused to give up on Panian even as he became more and more evil... perhaps he will be a wiser, less selfish version of himself. I know that this stirs a lot of stuff up for you. But know that Panian's survival gives meaning to Hawk's death.

Theodoric smiles at Loranys and says "Sister, we've been through a lot and we'll be through a lot more, but through it all, I'll be at your side."

"Theodoric, what happened in the mirror was strange and unique. It will be difficult to explain without best guesses and approximations. Much of it has to do with the beliefs of this strange land. Arabelle has taught me that in Ravenloft, there are two mysterious... Entities, if you will. Charani could probably explain more easily than I could. Being the only one native to this plane of existence, and being Vistani, well, she knows a great deal more than those of us not of this demiplane could know. I believe in many ways she is our best hope of navigating these lands successfully. There is truth to those cards she has. She has greater power to guide us than we could possibly imagine. I don't understand how it is all interwoven, but we are strangers in a strange land.

Those two things are the Mists and the Dark Powers. In Ravenloft, everyone... the commoners and Darklords... the Elves who have lived a thousand years and the humans who have lived but 70... everyone... everyone knows of the Dark Powers. In name at least. People do not know if they are malevolent or good, or if they even truly exist and are simply the manifestation of fate in this land. No one knows if the Dark Powers are in league with the Darklords, or are their jailers... Is Ravenloft a prison for the cursed? If so, why are we here? No one knows the whims and reasoning of the Dark Powers. And the Mists are just as mysterious. An arm of the Dark Powers? The Dark Powers themselves? I'm sorry for all the rhetorical questions, but It does not seem fully explainable. But it does give us a glimpse into the mysterious nature of this land.

The best way  I could explain what happened since I was killed was that the Dark Powers tested us. I am not a very religious person. Possibly of the whole group, I was the least spiritually inclined. But... I believe the Dark Powers Tested whether or not the group could survive and were playing, in their strange way, a game to determine what we meant to the land. The Great Old One Lelothot was involved somehow, possibly against her will... More on that soon...

 I know that I died because those closest to me had turned their backs upon me. And Upon Nymeria. She understood as no one else did what it was like to live off the lifeblood of another creature. To become a creature of darkness. To be manipulated by powerful Darklords and twisted at their will. And this is not a guilt trip. While I was cursed with Vampirism, I admit I did terrible things. Things I should have never done... would have never done if I was of right mind and spirit...

Utilizing my death in the mirror, I believe the Dark Powers played a strange game. They put you all into a situation to test the bonds of love and friendship. To see if our group was truly the heroes who could help vanquish Darklords or a petty band of adventurers, each with their own agenda.

You all passed, as many times as you came close to the abandonment of the quest, or the splintering of the group. As you drove forth to save Alexi and help Jander, you could have split a dozen times. But your faith that it was the right thing to do held you together. Together you believed in Nymeria.

And she showed great resilience and sacrifice and patience. She never wrested the aims of the group from Charani, never turned against Daveak and Krysnys for their Lycanthropy, never abandoned Theodoric regardless of his overbearing nature. And at every turn, even in his death, she defended Panian and thus saved his spirit from being lost forever. She nearly destroyed herself in the process. The Pact has taken much from her. Not just her beloved spellbook, but her hair, eyes, her finger. The mental anguish of it all. She proved that friendship was stronger than pain and meant sacrifice. She never wavered, much in the same way that I never wavered in giving the Knife to Sodo. Our friendship, bound by the Blood Oath of our people and our culture as Elves, is unbreakable, and she proved it.

Regardless... My spirit learned much about the essence and importance of friendship and trust while I was dead. Time works differently. Awareness is changed. I don't know, it's hard to explain... But regardless, it is for all that I previously mentioned that I believe that I was killed and no one else died in the mirrors.


I don't know if Lelothot is a Dark Power, or if she is associated with them, or what. Maybe she saw this as a way to get a powerful spellcaster (Nymeria) on her side or indebted to her. I believe that Lelothot is an extremely powerful being we cannot hope to fully understand. However, i believe she is not one of the Dark Powers, and that the Dark Powers were also playing a game with her, by bringing back her archnemesis Mokellos and making her repeat history in a possibly fatal way, this is simply her way of thanking Nymeria and utilizing her power and friendship to prevent her destruction.

I will not judge Nymeria's future path, for I am indebted to her with my life. I believe her to be the most wise and selfless person I know. For all the troubles I have caused her, she continues to defend me and sacrifice for me. It breaks my heart to know how much anguish she must have went through. And I will share upon these overwhelming feelings next time we commune. I fear it to an extent, because I will be wracked with overwhelming pain and anguish. However, Communion is sacred and I must share in the experiences.

You are wrong about one thing. Had this group turned their backs on you, you would have died from drinking Hawk's poisoned blood. Had we banished you after you mutilated the innkeeper, Hawk and Bart might still be alive. Our sacrifice might pail in comparison to what your cousin went through, but we all suffered a price to try and keep you alive.
I welcome you back and I am elated to see you well and cured. I wish to start anew with you, clean slate and all. Please do not dismiss all that we all have suffered because of the curse that was upon you.

"Only passing on what I know from the spirit world. I believe in you all and that you all very much care, especially now more than ever. Its a point we need not argue over. I am back and I feel more ready than ever to use my bow in battle right by your side, Theo."

Krysnys smiles sheepishly at Panian, quickly glances at L to see her response, and leans against Panian for a small hug. Her eyes are glistening as she nods to Theo.

Charani watches all this with some trepidation. She sneaks away behind the throne to be alone from the others. She gets out her newly acquired tarokka deck and begins shuffling through the cards, sensing the power they contain and attempting to connect that power to her own. She knows the games that Ravenloft can play with its inhabitants and that nothing should be taken at surface value. A small part of her also dwells on all the unkind things Panian said and did in regard to herself. She cannot share in everyone's joy just yet.

Panian hugs the others who embrace him, and looks around for a moment. He takes in the Throne room, which seems to, in some strange way, have been last visted by him so long ago. But he knows a much shorter time than it seems to him has passed. He turns to Nymeria, and speaks softly...

"Do you wish to rest here and commune, Cousin? Or do you not feel ready for such an undertaking?"

He takes his possessions from her, all but the cloak of invisibility and the broach, both of which, he finds out, had turned to dust as his spirit suffered from delays in decision making.

Panian seems to want to say something, but he seems fearful. Nervous. It has been so long since you have seen him outwardly vulnerable. Towards the end of his life he wasn't just invulnerable, but near irrational in his confidence and abrasiveness. Here he seems a bit different. Softer. Afraid.

"I can't wait to commune. I need to know now... Regardless of the answer, I need to know what happened to Arabelle..."

Panian looks around at all the others, and seeing no reaction from them in regard to his query, he turns away. He rifles through his belongings, items in the physical world have a strangeness to him he somewhat forgot about. Gold, arrows, his Starshot bow, his non-magical cloak, his armor, setting aside and rifling and what not... taking inventory of all his possessions he just obtained again from Nymeria....

In reply to Panian (msg # 24):

Theodoric senses an awkward vibe and, not knowing why Nymeria didn't answer, offers "Arabelle is well. She parted ways with us but our paths still cross from time to time."

Remos introduces himself as it seems kinda awkward that he doesn't know Panian. He doesn't really get the weird vibes he is feeling from people. He just knows that it seems like a friend of the group has come back to life. He asks Panian what he experienced in his "limbo" state!

When Remos is talking, a coldness suddenly infiltrates the room. You see a ghostly figure shimmer in the throne room. Loranys feels a chill in her heart, Panian feels a sense of dread, Theodoric feels like someone is trying to send him a message. Before you can react, the chill is gone!

Loranys quickly looks at Theo. Her face is ashen. Her eyes search his.

Theodoric kneels, clenching his light stone in his right hand. He closes his eyes and he mouths a silent prayer. He then attemps to cast Detect Good and Evil.

Panian freezes for a moment during the strange occurrence, looking around at the others rather slowly. He speaks, "That was extremely strange..." After a few moments where nothing else seems to happen he answers Remos.


"As High Elves growing up in Indelshire, we followed much of the belief systems of other Elves. I think that Nymeria believed in the tales more so than I did, but I am not sure. We seldomly spoke much about the spiritual side of being an Elf, and we never talked much about death. Elves don't focus on death so much as other races do. Our conversations are a bt more joyous when making small talk. However while I tend to wave off some of the elements of our culture, there are several that are important to me. Communion, and the Blood Oath are the most important elements to me. And I think I believe in Arvanaith, which is where us Elves end up. A beautiful, mystical land that helps the Elves not fear death. Regardless, I did not go there. The legend states that when an Elf meets a violent end and their body cannot return to their homeland, they are essentially stuck in Limbo. I'm not exactly sure how it all worked, as I said, the Dark Powers or Lelothot, or them being one in the same preserved me from being vanquished forever. A voice granted me one last meeting with Nymeria, and I believe that Nymeria knew that if I died here, in this place, I was never to be at full rest. And there is so much more to it as well, of course. But she gave up so much for me, and I feel our bond as family and friends is stronger than it ever has been."

Thank you. I enjoy learning about others belief in life and death. Your ways are strange to me but the concept I understand. I am glad for the sake of your friends that you were able to be pulled back from Limbo.

In reply to Theodoric (msg # 29):

Did you sense it my child? Did you sense the evil that just swept through here? I can tell you a lot more about the spirit, but you should have sensed great evil. Remos looks around at the rest of the group. Ghosts have main categories that I can sense but I can't actually sense the identity of the ghost. Let me explain what I felt and see if it makes sense to you:

1. Magnitude of Power: 4th magnitude which is among the most powerful of ghosts. I sense that this spirit was created because of a death involving much emotional stress and negative feelings and energy.

2. Physical consistence: incorporeal

3. Physical appearance: spectral, the emotional state of the ghost actually dictates a color that you will see. It was very interesting, because the main emotional state I sensed was anger based on the red hue, although there were brief flashes of blue which indicates love, makes no sense to me

4. Origin: I sense that this person suffered a great wrong and was unable to avenge it in the mortal world. The desire for revenge has burned so strong within that it has caused the mind and spirit to turn evil

5. Anchors: I sensed a great attachment to Theodoric and Loranys when the ghost first entered the room, almost a blue in color like it was in love. Then I sensed a change in emotion when the ghost went past Panian. The hue was definitely red then.

6. Triggers: I get the sense that this person only recently turned spectral, something must have caused unrest in the last few hours. It is very new to this form and couldn't control itself, which is why it was gone so quickly. I got the sense that the spirit was ready to move on and that some recent event changed it so that the spirit could not move on.

Remos looks around at all of you: Does this make sense?

In reply to Remos (msg # 32):

Loranys gasps. "yes. This makes perfect sense. This is Hawk." She looks around and says, "I will tell you the story, Remos, but know this is my fault. I don't know how to make it right. I was only trying to be true and honest, through it all. Love is very complicated."

She tells a very brief outline of what happened, quietly.  Anyone paying attention could hear, however.

"I was in love with Panian, but that love was doomed. We were ill-matched.  Hawk was loyal and true, and loved me before he met me.  He stood by me and Theo in our darkest hours.  I recognized in him a beauty and purity that I admired, aspired to, and loved.  However, I couldn't shake Panian from my heart.  In an effort to bond fully with Hawk and sever my ties to Panian, I heart-bonded with Hawk.  He could see into my heart after that, and knew I was still in love with Panian.  But, he loved me anyway, and was just as true and loyal as ever.  However, there was a moment right before they both died when Hawk had to attack Panian.  I understood, but couldn't let him kill him, so I protected Panian with my Blade Wall.  Hawk died and soon after Panian died.  I'm certain this is him.  I know he must have felt avenged by Panian's death, and his resurrection must have stirred him from his own repose."

She looks around again: "I would do what it takes to avenge him, if I knew it wouldn't be making a bargain with evil.  Would it?  You mentioned evil, but also love.  Remos, what can I do?  Do you know how to speak with him?"

Though she appears confident and strong, her eyes are shining with tears.  She has lived with the pain of a heart split in two for so long, that this final resolving of her struggle is a relief to her.  Finally, she hopes to make it right.  She wants this to be Hawk so she can do that.  She believes it is.

It has to be our friend, Hawk. Hawk was a servant of good. He helped us through many difficult trials and some of us came to love him very much. When I was possessed by Gruumsch, Hawk was instrumental in helping me pull through. I would not be the man I have become were it not for Hawk, Bart, and Grimly.

Panian had been afflicted with vampirism. During that time, he did many awful, murderous things. Among them, he caused the death of our dear friend, Bart. Bart was a good hearted and loyal friend to all of us. Hawk loved Bart as a brother and he was driven mad with rage after Bart's death.

I tried to help Hawk, but he was beyond my reach. He made himself evil and taunted Panian until Panian attacked and feed upon Hawk's evil-poisoned blood. I tried and failed to intervene... I could do nothing but watch as my dear friend died... Panian nearly died too as a result of consuming the evil blood.

The others were able to save Panian.

I miss my friends dearly and I still grieve for them daily...

I would very much like to help Hawk's spirit find peace if possible.

Theodoric turns toward Panian. "Nymeria has taught me to understand that you were not in control when you killed Bart and Hawk. Though I have offered you my forgiveness, absolution is not mine to give. You may have not been in control at the time of the murders but you made many mistakes and told many lies that ultimately lead to those deaths. I, personally, want and expect nothing from you, but my heart hopes that through reflection upon the events of the past, you gain wisdom. The events of your final days nearly tore us all apart and our wounds still weep. I don't even know if my forgiveness is welcomed, nor do I know if you seek forgiveness, absolution, and wisdom. If you do, I will help you find it."

Panian remains quiet, and sits with his back to the wall, looking out at the group, seemingly taking all of this in... His lips part as if to speak to Theodoric in response, but no sound comes out. He inhales audibly, then puts his head back against the wall. As if he is waiting for something.

Krysnys' eyes search Panian's face during Loranys and Theo's recap of the man Hawk was.

If Panian makes eye contact, K would smile gently at him.

In reply to Loranys (msg # 33):

Remos looks at Loranys after she tells her story. He seems to go into a strange trancelike state and then he shakes it off. He asks Loranys if he could speak to her privately.

In reply to Theodoric (msg # 34):

I too would like to help your friend. He sounds like he was once a great man. I really need to talk to Loranys in private about this.

In reply to Remos (msg # 39):

I understand. (Theodoric steps away so as to respect their privacy. On the other side of the room, he kneels as if in prayer with his back to the others. Tears well. Theodoric remembers Bart and Hawk... the lengths to which they went to save him... the times they fought side by side, the times they laughed together, ate together, walked together. Hawk and Bart helped build the tower at the homestead. They each had a cottage that is now empty. Theodoric shudders as the tears let loose from his eyes.

In reply to Krysnys (msg # 37):

Panian meets Krysnys' eyes and smiles back. Then tuns to Theodoric.



"I appreciate you forgiving me, and I am glad that you do. I don't know that I seek absolution. I am simply glad to be back here. Grateful for my friends and my cousin watching after me. Surprised at the initial excitement about my turn, then my lukewarm reception thereafter.

You know, Hawk and I did not get along in life, and I wish he could come back, but if this truly is his ghost, it shows much about his character. Now we are confronted by a vengeful and angry spirit, and not one that is the representation of the 'wonderful' man you all see. But rather more who he truly was at his core- filled with hatred and arrogance. Hopefully your friend Remos can put him to final rest."

Theodoric stands up and turns to face Panian. He stares silently at Panian. After an awkward moment, Theodoric says:

"You would disparage the character of my dead friend even as I weep for him? Do you see my pain and seek to double it? Do you intend to divide us even as we begin to reunify? Theodoric ignores his trickling tears as he speaks. His cadence is measured and controlled. His volume is soft but audible to all in the room.

"You disappoint me, Panian. I feel sorry for you."

Theodoric breaths deeply and kneels once again, as if in prayer.

"I suppose my commentary upon who Hawk is was ill-timed, and I should have waited to express my thoughts on him for a more opportune time."

Panian turns to Remos, "I do hope you are able to take care of his spirit in a proper manner. Until that time, if what you say is true, his spirit may impede us. He has a profound hatred for me for some reason. And I admit that I return that hatred because of how he felt for me in life. I would say more, but I feel it is best for me to leave this area for now. To allow those who loved Hawk some time to reflect and what not."


DM: If Possible, Panian would like to exit the throne room. If that is OK, let me know what room I am in and what is there.

You misunderstood what I said about your friend Hawk my young man. I said that he had a blue hue when he saw Loranys and Theodoric. A purely evil spirit can not have a blue hue. The hue didn't turn red/evil until after it saw those two and came over to you. It makes me wonder about the things that you did to this person that would have it going from a loving, ready to move on spirit, to one that is ready to stay for revenge. Think upon that, my arrogant friend. Something deep within YOU is causing this young man's unrest!!!!

Remos then turns and quietly asks Loranys to move off to the side of the room with him.

After briefly talking to Remos, during which she starts to cry, Loranys quickly pulls herself together and goes searching for Panian.

Theodoric hugs Loranys. He glances silently at Panian.

After talking quietly, Loranys and Theo hug tightly. She brightens a little and then starts to look around. "Let's get this show on the road. I want to get Hawk and Bart home safely."

Panian looks back at Theodoric when he glances at him, but then quickly looks to Nymeria. The Loyalty and friendship lines seem to still be drawn as usual. Without Arabelle here is he left with but one close friend. Although Krysnys has always been quite kind to him... He has been through the updates on Krysnys, on Charani, on Daveak. He runs his hand through his hair. He walks over to where the throne is and sees Charani with her cards.

"I don't mean to interrupt, but Nymeria told me that you were able to get what you needed to Jander for Alexi. I wanted to tell you that I am happy for you. I am sure that Jander is taking care of Alexi to the best of his ability."

Charani is too absorbed in her cards and her mind to reply or even notice that Panian has spoken to her. She mumbles to herself over and over and seems to be in great distress.

Theodoric sees Panian's failed attempt to engage Charani and he notices Charani's apparent distress. Theodoric silently motions to the others to draw their attention to Charani, in case they didn't notice.

Loranys puts a hand on Charani's shoulder. "Are you ok?" She looks meaningfully at Panian to acknowledge his gesture to Charani.

Panian steps back away from this event. He allows for Loranys and Theodoric to figure things out uninterrupted. He looks at his cousin, Krysnys and Daveak, all off in their own worlds right now.

You see Charani cry out and her eyes go a bluish white color. She is mumbling and making no sense, absorbed in something only she can see. This goes on for a few minutes, nothing you do snaps her out of it. You hear her scream in the end and she blacks out. Vito rushes over to her immediately and pushes Theodoric aside. He is frantically shaking Charani and he pulls out a vial. "Please drink this...it will help...Charani can you hear me? It's Vito...drink this...come back...you are safe with me."

Loranys steps away to give them air but is looking around frantically trying to make eye contact with anyone who might know what to do.

Panian looks to Loranys, "Vistani business and belief. Out of our control. Vito can take care of her." Panian walks in line with the doorway and gets his bow and an arrow out. He sits back against the wall and keeps his eyes on the doorway.

Panian looks away from the doorway. He plays with an arrow in his hand and speaks.


"So what the hell are we doing? Did that potion work Vito? Is she going to recover? What happened?"

I'm sorry, Theo. I don't have needle and thread, but I bet we could hand-lace a small drawstring-style pouch if we cut a thin strip of leather and pierce holes along the edges. I can help with making it if you'd like, but I understand if you want to work on it alone in prayer.

Krysnys comes out of her own little world and makes eye contact  with Loranys. There is clear panic in K's eyes but she says nothing.

Loranys makes eye contact with Krysnys, and seeing Panian with an arrow, she casts Armor of Agathys.

Charani is fine. I was giving her some water to make her snap out of her funk.
