Happy Holiday to those in the US!

And yeah, following the road is fine with me. =)

Found it in the day 1 thread - it's the super suspicious quest Mellikho gave us so we'd leave her quarry alone.

Re: OOC

Oh by the way: I do think I'll need to replace Bram, and perhaps Dwee, as neither have posted recently.

I know posting pace has slowed recently, but I'm still committed to the game. I've gotten a little more busy over the last few months, but not so busy that I'd have to quit this game. Honestly, we're only just now getting into the meat of the adventure, where all your "secret missions" are going to start making more sense, and I'm really looking forward to how this all plays out.

I've really had a lot of fun DMing this for y'all over the past 1 year+ (!!) and I hope to keep it going.

Wait, has it been a year? Holy crap it's been a year! :D

Shame that Bram and Dwee have to drop, though. Hope everything's alright for them outside of the game.

I'm hoping things will get better for me (and my family) soon.

I'm sorry to hear that we might have lost both Bram and Dwee.

Re: OOC

A year! This is the longest I've been part of a PbF, and it's my favorite. Many thanks to iphone97 for DMing, and to the rest of the quarry trespassing crew (we might need a different party name ;)).

My posts tend to be short, but that's just because English isn't my 1st language so it takes me a while to write them.

Re: OOC

Really? Wow. You have done a good job then. I wouldn't have known if you hadn't said anything. With some posters on here, I can tell.

A year is good. I like long games where you get to know your character and the other characters, and can have a better story.

Agreed. Your English is great, man. Better than most people I know that have it as a first language, haha.

Me too - I think I knew that English was a learned language for Morg at some point, but I forgot long ago.

I'll post something to the main thread tomorrow, hopefully in the morning.

Re: OOC

I'd like a firmware upgrade of my physical d8s ;). In a face-to-face game I'm playing, my 4th level monk's leveling-up max HP rolls have been 1, 2, and 3! (We're not allowed to take half+1 of our HD, so we have to roll.) It's CON mod is only +1 because of how dependent monks are on multiple ability scores: DEX, WIS, and CON.

Yesterday, a hag's ranged attack almost insta-killed the monk from full health.

His hesitancy to engage in unarmed combat fits with his backstory and flaw tho: fear; so that's fun to play out.

Does Morg know what race the knight is? Is something like its helmet preventing finer differentiation like human vs half-elf vs elf?

Nah, he's just a plain old human as far as Morg can tell.

LOL - I'm trying to post every day just for my own discipline, but also trying not to move the plot forward too much at a time so I can give everyone adequate time to react. Hopefully my latest post didn't change much of what Jak was going to say/do anyway - didn't seem to.

Please welcome Tessa Greenwater to the game! We're working on finishing up character details and setup, then Tessa can join the party.

Also, I've opened up the game for RTJ's to fill our last open slot.
