Re: OOC

OOC is definitely easier for me.

I propose we go back to the tower and infiltrate it. I have hunch Fin's brother is there. If not, we can capture someone and question for information.

Yeah, to the tower if the people in the camp in the east don't look hostile.

Re: OOC

All, I'm going to try out having a new player join the game and take over Wiglaf -
so, please welcome Wiglaf to the game!

While lycanthropy actually ends up granting a number of in-game boons despite it being a curse, I'm going to impose some significant restrictions on it to keep it balanced. Also, Wiglaf is a relatively recent victim of lycanthropy, so the disease may intensify over time (especially if Wiglaf ends up being OP despite the restrictions and downsides). There's already the thought of getting him cured, and I want to maintain the incentive for that to happen ;).

To start he'll have limited control on when he transforms and into what form, and may need to succeed on saves to take the action he wants to, particularly in combat situations. If things become really problematic, you all can always stumble upon a Remove Curse scroll =)

If anyone has thoughts or suggestions please feel free to post them here or via private message.

Re: OOC

Heh. Or you could have him play a Blood Hunter, Order of the Lycan, and have something not quite that. =P

Regardless, welcome, potential evil PC to be kil...I mean new player! =D

Re: OOC

Hello everyone! I’m your not so friendly neighborhood werewolf that might go crazy and eats everyone... I mean protect you.

Personally I prefer to roleplay my characters than to just min-max, which means I’d be totally okay with the GM to kill Wiglaf off or have him join the BBEG.

I’m gonna finish my character sheet soon though one of you might be able to tell me if you’ve any relationship with Wiglaf so far.

Welcome!  Wiglaf and Magdrak have some history together, with both having been members of the Bloodaxes (merc outfit for misfits and outcasts, in case ya didn't know).

Re: OOC

If ya'll are taking a short rest, go ahead and post where you're doing that, what else if anything you're doing during that hour, and what you're recharging (e.g., if you're using any hit dice to recover hp, song of rest, etc.).

Re: OOC

I don't really feel like short resting. Well, maybe a little.

Figure we could use some tents.

Re: OOC

Short rests do next to nothing for me, but I am fine waiting while everyone who needs it rests/heals/whatever. Unless I could safely inspect the bonfire site without drawing attention, then I'd like to do that.

Re: OOC

If we're taking a short rest, then Jak will use his Song of Rest for you all, where you get an extra D6 to heal if you spend any hit dice (1d6 no matter how many hit dice you spend).

Asano Breathkill:

No, folks on the ground are too far away to hear. Though Findarion and Wiglaf can certainly hear, as Findarion is 10 feet away clinging to the side of the tower, & Wiglaf is at the top of scaffolding 15 feet away.

I think Morg is still on the ground with Asano and Magdrak, but he can post otherwise if he's moving somewhere else.

Re: OOC

@Asano, you actually only get 3 sorcery points from burning 3 lvl 1 spell slots, but you can use them all to create a lvl 2 slot:

"As a bonus action on your turn, you can expend one spell slot and gain a number of sorcery points equal to the slot’s level."

1st level spells give 2 sorcery points apiece, though. Or has that been errata'd that I missed?

Re: OOC

Ah I see what you're thinking. The table is for purchasing only, Asano. Right below the table you have:

Converting a Spell Slot to Sorcery Points. As a bonus action on your turn, you can expend one spell slot and gain a number of sorcery points equal to the slot’s level.

So level 1 converted to points nets you 1 sorcery point. But to purchase a level 1 spell slot with sorcery points costs 2 sorcery points. It's not an even trade.
