Converting a Spell Slot to Sorcery Points. As a bonus action on your turn, you can expend one spell slot and gain a number of sorcery points equal to the slot’s level.
So level 1 converted to points nets you 1 sorcery point. But to purchase a level 1 spell slot with sorcery points costs 2 sorcery points. It's not an even trade.
Yep, Jak is correct - it costs 2 sorcery points to create 1 1st level spell slot, but converting the other way only yields 1:1 slot level --> points.
Did you still want to do it (convert 3 lvl 1 slots to 1 lvl 2 slot), or nah?
