I don't see any likely candidates for wizard or bard, so perhaps not?

Re: OOC

Okay, cool. It's a ritual spell so I could take it, just wanted to check. Not that we have the gem required yet I don't think, lol.

Re: OOC

Ahh, right, I keep forgetting how awesome forge clerics are.  They get really good after they get fabricate but even before then being able to make adamantine darts and ammo out of anything is a really handy domain feature.

Gorm Hareth:
Is there somewhere I should look for guidelines on things like starting gear past 1st level, mundane or magical?

Starting gear for level 5 is basically the same as for level 1 in this game, though there's obviously some magic items the party already has that you can claim, or if there are a few things extra you'd like to start with we can hash it out (it's probably fine).

Also, if you want to "swap out" a magic item that's of the same tier we can talk about that too.

Starting to go through new PC character sheets - feel free to keep the game moving in the main thread, and keep reaching out with questions & let me know if you're stuck waiting for an answer from me or for the DM to post something.

Re: OOC

@Durik also, we should work out an entrance for you, so you're not just "appearing" in the party - can be very simple if you like (i.e., you happened upon the group last night/this morning and are still introducing yourselves), or more involved if you want.

Re: OOC

Haven't really looked at Duriks sheet or know anything about his character besides seeing he's a cleric, but maybe he could be one of the mercenaries chasing me. Since Morg asked them to have a cleric check whether I'm telling the truth, maybe he's the one that does the check, then he sides with us when the mercenaries decide whether to attack after the spell.

Re: OOC

Apologize for not posting last few days-had a last minute college visit for my son this weekend. 7 1/2 hours one way on Sunday.  Visit and race back getting in late last night.

Will get him leveled up today.

As for party intro-'I was traveling west from Citadel Adbar heading to Neverwinter when I came upon the party.  Seeing the campfire I approached seeking strength in numbers for the night.  Around the campfire We may have discussed what the party was up to and I have decided to stay and help.'

Re: OOC

Rowan - my understanding of the 'vague distances' involved, the people chasing you aren't close to you or the group right now....and that's who Makari is addressing the group of people that includes you and the adventuring party all standing around talking. =)

Re: OOC

Doing the last of the new PC reviews now - it's more time consuming than level 1 characters, whew!

Seems like PCs are well introduced (at least initially) to the main thread, but reach out with any questions or suggestions on that if folks aren't fully orientated.

Looking ahead, just a reminder, the group has not made a full search of the broken down tower, so if you care to do that before departing to whereever you're headed next that is certainly an option.

Re: OOC

Who's names are known to who?

The 3 dwarves know each other (Morg and Mag have been adventuring together, Durik introduced himself the night before). Makari, Rowan, and the mercenary leader are also all talking to the dwarves.

Gorm and Jo are hidden and watching from the trees?
