Mister DM, do we have an idea of how many knights there may be here? Based on the attendees of last night's dinner.

You think most, if not all, of the knights went on the Manticore hunt, which would mean there are around 7 knights total that you've seen, including Savra and Huet. You've seen a few more of the attendants moving around the Spire, perhaps as many as 10.

Looks like there were 14 (not counting vultures) in the map of the spire, so I'm guessing that's pretty much all of them then? Counting Thurl, Savra, robe dude, Huet (whoever he is).

Yes, most of the Spire denizens were called up to witness the ceremony.

Does not sound like an Asano charm offensive on Savra is going to work very well...

Sorry, RL has been crazy lately. Prepping for a Christmas session, dealing with feuding friends, and getting ready for Christmas proper and keep up relations with family and friends is running me ragged.

It's ok and totally understandable. I think we can just assume savra wouldn't join us and so we left.

Spoiler alert: she wouldn't have ;).

I know what a single 5th level monk can do, so I'd rather let the charismatic PCs be the ones to give her lip ;).

Oh, forgive me for being hot-headed, but caution doesn't seem to be working in our favor! I only specified I was sent on this mission, so you're all free to throw me under a bus if the monks come out armed and ready to fight!

What makes you think these are 5th level monks?

I just learned that Jeremy Crawford clarified that unarmed strikes are melee weapon attacks, which is awesome for the monk 5 I'm playing in a Strahd game, but it's put the fear of the gods into me when facing other monks. Morg probably hasn't angered any monks, so wouldn't know what they can do.

In other news, we've got cultists in Red Larch, at the spire, and now in the monastery. Maybe we should let them fight each other, and then mop up afterwards...
