Reuel thinks for a moment, then, "Would you like to meet one of them? I can ask one to come here in an avatar. Since they are power with personhood, they don't really have bodies like we do. No one in this Oner could ever mistake a person for a god if they knew what to look for."

Reuel says, "I get that. With the experiences you've had, it would be intimidating to meet one. It would be intimidating for anyone, really. The god of belly lint isn't as intimidating as others, but it still scares people when they think they've got a spider on their belly button.

"There is another way to think about these things. You've seen into the spirit realm, so you know that everything has spirit. Spirit is breath. Breath is life. All things have life in them.

"Consider a single atom. Like all things it has spirit. Considered together with all of its counterparts, it has certain characteristics and behaves a certain way. The hive of all of that atom is the god of that atom, while the atoms themselves are its body.

"But also, when arranged with other types of atoms, it creates molecules. The same can be said of molecules that can be said of atoms. Also it is the same with cells where a hive of cells is the body of a person, animal, fungus or plant. The hive of all human cells everywhere is the body of the god of human cells. In the same way, a hive of humans makes a body of a demon. Interestingly enough, since humans reproduce, the ancestor tends to be the mind of that body. Every human who came from human A makes up the body of human A who becomes a kind of a god after death. But due to the various influences of our minds, we aren't just part of the body of one god, but many. Part of my mind is in the body of the god of anger, part is in the body of the god of Peter (my father), and so on. Some parts of me are shared by multiple different gods. A god is just a spirit, and a spirit is able accumulate or lose power and its body by the influence it has over people or other spirits.

"The way that a spirit influences a person is similar to the way that I influence my cells. The cells still have their own autonomy, but I have some control over the collective. Even so, if one of my cells decides to rebel against me, there is nothing I can do about it. That cell simply stops being part of me.

"As a human - a cell of gods, you belong to the body of whatever gods you act in accordance with.

"What do you think about these things?"

"Sounds about right, I'm use to something similar in the spirit realm of my world. Not that I spent much time there... I didn't get into that much before I got dragged into the whole fight with the Demon God stuff.... and the spirit world there was never separated from the physical world."

"I'd be curious to hear what happened if it wouldn't bother you to tell me."

As Azraile is responding, part of hir floats above it all and a finger taps that part of hir on hir shoulder. Shi is now in two places at once. Shi is aware of what hir body and Reuel are doing, but also aware of what feels like a second body. As shi turns to see who tapped hir on hir shoulder, she sees two people as bright as a sun. One on hir left, one on hir right. The person on hir right speaks first, "You are looking from the view of one who sees spirits, angels and powers. I am the Angel of All, I am innocence and love and life. Those who love the All, even though they are not worthy, are given infinite love by the All. Follow me and live."

The other person speaks, "I am an angel of illumination. I offer you an alternative. You know for yourself what is right and what is wrong. I can teach you to trust that judgement - I can return to you any of your lost powers that you desire. I don't ask you to love me or hate me or even to follow me. I only want you to do what you know is best and follow your own heart to have your life."

The person identifying as the Angel of All responds, "One of us is a liar, though both of us have spoken truths. You must decide for yourself who you want to believe, and who you will follow. Will you follow my lead or be lead by yourself?"

Well Azraile isnt a being who's spirital and physical form is separate....hir mind can project outside the body but hir soul cant because it is a part of hir body. Hir soul will live on when hir body is destroyed yah... but in the meantime there rather inter woven. It's not only a byproduct of the type of werecrature shi is but the planet shi was born on where everything is like this.  Where the spirit world is separate from the physical shi can physically pass into the spirit world because of this. Even take some physical stuf with hir.....though it's a bit tough the other way around.

If this still plays out this way Az's bodly likely collapses from the unicorn and curls up in pain, likely throwing up.

Hir spirit is strained and connected to her body by something rather like the whole silver cord thing only bigger, stronger, and trying to pull hir back together.

Not realy felling the curious mood at the moment all she replies is. "I'm already doing both you idiots" rather than clarifying she's following her heart to love people and that's following the angel of all rather shi means to or not and it's doing what the angle of illumination said rather it was what it intended.

OOC: Very good information for me to know, and I wish I knew earlier. But it doesn't affect the scene, because she's not having an OBE. Hir spirit/soul and body remain connected. This is something more like experiencing two timelines simultaneously, but it's not that either.

IC:

The angel of illumination says, "Exactly! Just keep it up."

The Angel of All says, "I'm asking you to follow me, not just to do what you think I would want you to do." The Angel of All begins moving off to the right before disappearing, and the angel of illumination just disappears.

Az is now completely back with Reuel. There is a split in the path, and Reuel takes the path on the left.

Grunts and hir ears pull back a little as shi stops. "Ok I can't ever get past this.... It's always the same thing...whats the difference between loving everyone because that's who you are... and loving everyone because your doing what some one told you to... it's always like this with all sorts of religions, It's not enough that you do it... you have to do it for them.  Usually because that's how they get dominion over your soul or that's how they feed." Sighs... "If your a part of god then it shouldn't matter if you dedicate yourself to that god so long as you are doing your part.... why do all the religions keep coming back to the same thing... you have to know about there god and devote yourself to that god, ingoring the fact most feed off people devoting themselves to them... it don't make sense why that is a requirement."

Reuel stops with Azraile in a clearing in the wooded mountainside and says, "Simple really. Created life cannot sustain itself and needs to feed to thrive. Most gods - as you said - feed off of people who devote themselves to the god. There is one god who never feeds off of hir devotees - All. By whatever name Shi is called, All is the only god who feeds those who love Hir, without being fed by any other than Hirselves. All-Parent feeds All-Child, and All-Heart is the love between All. Love is the source of nourishment and All is the source of love. All asks for love (not to feed off of that love, after all, can you make infinity bigger by adding anything to it?) but so that those who freely give their love may receive nourishment from All."

Reuel thinks for a moment, "There is a deeper issue here. No one wants to be obliged to a god. It is far more comfortable to just be yourself and be a good person.

"All loves everyone. That means that All is happy when others are happy, and suffers when others suffer. Since All is infinite, that joy and that suffering are both infinite. All hates suffering and death, and always has everyone's best interests at heart. All knows that everyone will have their deepest and truest happiness if they love All, but also that people make mistakes. All is perfectly fair, so if someone hurts another person, the person they have hurt deserves justice. So All has accepted responsibility for every injury committed by everyone so that everyone can be free from justice and free to love without trying to be good- uh oh."

Reuel closes his eyes for a moment, "Something's about to happen that will cause a tremendous amount of suffering for - almost everyone."

Just then, a planet appears in the sky and explodes, disappearing a moment later.

"We're going to have to cut this journey short, I'm afraid... But first, I get the feeling that you have a choice to make."

There are three paths. One leads back the way they came, one leads ahead to the left, and one leads ahead to the right.

"I just have a hard time beliving anyone that loved everyone could not save some one just because they don't know they exist. That don't stop me from loving the All. I just don't see why shi can't save everyone."

After the explosion and stuff.  "What was that?... Whats happened?"

"All saves everyone who wants to be saved, but many don't want that. As for people who never hear of Hir, no one is judged based on anything more than what they knew. People are only as responsible as they are made aware. That's why animals aren't judged - if you can't have a relationship with All, you aren't expected to.

Don't stand well with stuff like this just don't handle it well, shi has serious trust issues after all.... and particularly slavery which to her this is what this sorta thing rings like.... do this... or else, emotional or mental slavery / abuse....  "I already love everything why should I have to declare myself a slave to it?"

If she absolotly can't be saved by the all with out pledging to follow the all then I would like to say hir feelings on this are strong enough for hir to hurt hirself subcociously trying something stupid..... lol

If that happens her bracelet will likely glow and a phantom outline of a gauntlet will be vesable spirutaly on her left arm as part of her soul shines through... hir body might phase in and out a bit too and shi passes in between physical and spirutal worlds, and maybe other time lines...    (hence the hurting hirself as it's also a 0/0)

Since I'm not God, I need some clarification.

First off, write is now [1/1], since it was used. As you know, taking any cliche to a negative would mean death or at least losing consciousness. But what is 'write' supposed to do exactly?

Also please explain the gauntlet a little more, and what you mean by loving the void. What is it about void that is being loved here? When Void is referred to as the enemy thing here, I'm pretty sure it is truly unlovable by anything not pure evil. So I think I need to understand more what you mean

Echo of the first word lets hir brake or create seals/laws/names/ect... In the basics it protects people by creating seals, and heals people by undoing what harmed them.. making it like it didn't happen...    it can also create and brake seals/laws/names/ect off all sorts....

what i'm basicaly trying to do is get her to subconciously create a new personal law that lets her follow the all and be saved without pledging herself to it.

If she can't do that already... though with that few dice the all would have to be ok with it lol and the all could just ingore it and get rid of it......

you can love something but not what it dose or it's nature.... it can't help how it was born.... you can still want to save it and help it (just not in doing what it's doing =p.. help it be better).

((This is the effect of Az's Write attempt)): Azraile feints and is immediately awake in the Spirit plane. Reuel is like a washed out watercolor version of himself, and is looking around saying in a muffled voice, "Azraile? Where's you go?" as a woman of fractalizing rainbow flame moves with him in the Spirit plane, dancing and moving out of his way when he makes erratic movements. She intensifies her flame on his ears, and he stops and closes his eyes, takes a deep breath and begins mumbling softly & calmly under his breath.

The flaming woman looks into Az's soul and smiles kindly as she says, "Follow your heart, my child. It will lead you in the wrong path, but I will walk with you and catch you if you fall. I am cheering for team Az! For now, you hardly know me, and as a stranger, I am asking you only to move along the left path instead of where Reuel was headed before you go back to the campsite. There isn't time for me to answer the question you're pondering yet. Time to wake up, sleepyhead!" The firey woman breaths on Az and Az feels a deep sense of peace, wellbeing, love, acceptance and excitement, danger and unending glorious adventure.

Az suddenly awakes/reappears and Reuel opens his eyes then says, "I think you're only being asked to take a single step in a certain direction for now. Any idea why I would've been told that just now?"

Shi gives a long sigh of a person who's given up, seams fate will steam roll you anywhere you end up. "Just lead me the fastest way to where we are going... seams bad things are happening and there isn't time to waste."

Shi really didn't want to do this kinda thing....

Shi wanted to help people.

But it always seamed to mean hir getting hurt.

After taking 7 steps up the trail to the right, All-Child places a hand on Azraile's shoulder from an upper dimension and says, "Azraile, will you come with me so that I may show you an image of my story? We will take our time, but very little time will have passed"

Azraile went the way shi was being directed, and immediately, the fiery spirit that was dancing with Reuel in the Spirit realm came to stand before Azraile in the physical. Shi said, "Azraile, I offer you my Sword which is my words. I will not enslave you, though I would woo you. I am All-Spirit, your life and love. I love all, especially those closest to the void. They are all precious to me, and my heart breaks for their wellbeing. If you understand how I feel, this Sword will keep you safe. And if not, I will not abandon you." Shi hands Azraile a 9' wooden longsword, and touches the tip, sparking it into a flame that doesn't harm Azraile, but will cut through absolutely anything, physical or spiritual, allowing for certain pre-known consequences in certain circumstances.

If Azraile gets more excited for the Sword than for meeting All-Spirit:

The Sword vanishes from the flaming 3' long hilt with a 6' long crossbar, into a plain small wooden sword handle. All-Spirit says, "I am in the Sword, so I will tell you when the Sword is ready to be used again, but you should ask for it if you feel you may need it. Now it is time to hurry back to camp. You are needed by your employer, and Reuel has need of you in a short time."

If Azraile gets more excited for meeting All-Spirit than for getting the Sword:

All-Spirit says, "I am in the Sword, so I will tell you when the Sword is ready to be used and when to put it away, but you should ask for it if every time you feel you may need My help. Now it is time to hurry back to camp. You are needed by your employer, and Reuel has need of you in a short time."

Shi's not exsighted any more one way or the other... just unsure what to think. Shi wonders though if the sword works like hir own weapon... able to cut through people and not harm them, but cleanse them.... in general just tries to tell if it feels familiar in hir hand when all burny.... if it is... tries letting the echo of the first word flow over the blade sharing it's form. Maybe it is compatible?

OOC: I have a feeling that it will feel similar to Echo of the First Word, but I need to know everything you know about (especially the origin of) Echo of the First Word. Frankly, the less you know, the better, because that will allow me more freedom. But I prefer to maintain continuity wherever possible.
