The Golem looks excited again, "Oh, both! Some are capable of flight, and they can go right through the center!"

"Ever tried to teach them to use the portals?"

"Oh, insects don't need to be taught. They move about well enough. Sometimes we encourage them to go a certain way."

"So who are these Comowe?"

"They are basically human, but with slightly different bone structure. See? There's one right now!" the golem points out an oddly shaped human floating through Auraluna. "The ones in here are all flesh, and some of them use Magem now, but on their homeworlds they use different technologies, and are called 'cyborgs'. Even though some are being born on even those worlds with Magem abilities. They're usually brought to a Magem planet and raised there."

Shi nods, thinking that seams familar to hir, and goes to ask about exploration to him/her after thanking the golem.

(would be nice to get az mixed up with the others lol wouldn't mind losing the story braking for that unless you have something in mind you really want to do for the story braking)

OOC: Alot of people get confused easily when too many characters are involved in a story. I think they could handle one of your characters (or 2 of it is the Sangwen and Ngelt) but I wouldn't want to get too many of them involved. For instance, I was planning on using Star Lady as an NPC for the scene with her (but if you like, I could tell you what I want her to say and you could edit and post it).

Azraile can do a whole lot of things if shi remains separated from the other world.

But! You could always invite the other players to join your adventure over here. I can add them to group 2, and as long as they understand that this all takes place in a divergent timeline, they could play in both.

The Comowe woman is very friendly to Az. When Az asks the Comowe woman about exploration, she sends Az to one of the buildings with a sign out front which reads, "Comowe Multiverse Exploratory Commission". A Comowe man sits at the front desk and greets Az, "Greetings! My name is William. How can I help you?"

Shi smiles some "I was hoping I could join a crew."

"Wonderful! We are indeed recruiting. Do you have any particular type of planet you would like to be involved in exploring? Or would you prefer Deep Space exploration aboard one of the Portal Ships we've procured? And do you have a preference for which Oner you explore?"

Shrugs. "I was just thinking... I don't know much about anything, so... I thought why not learn about stuff while learning about things no one knows anything about!" Shi giggles some. "So yah, besides it sounds fun, there any going places no one has ever been?"

"Indeed there are! One is leaving very soon. If you hurry you'll make it."

The man hands Az a card with symbols on it, and gives hir directions to the outer surface of Auraluna.

It dont take a rocket scientist to figure out shi can fly...figuring out how though wasnt as easy as shi thought. But once in the air it seamed more natural and it didnt seam shi even needed hir wings (though they help!). Shi gets going flying faster as shi gets a hang of it and flies the whole way there.

IC:
In the floor at the end of the tunnel is a port hole into the spaceship. A Comowe man is stationed at the entrance, and when Az presents her card, she is brought on board.

The spaceship is of Comowe design, with the computers and electronics replaced by their Magem equivilants. Some of the Magem tech is AAFT, some Company SC, some Anima, some Starfish Folk, some Comowe design and various others as well.

Az is shown to a briefing room, with various persons of various species sitting around bored. There is a view screen on one wall, showing an image of the ship from outside. The people in the room all take note with interest when the ship suddenly disembarks from Auraluna. A Portal opens before the ship, and the ship coasts inside. Suddenly the Portal shrinks and then begins to move (the view tracking it). The screen displays the words "minimum speed" but it is moving unbelievably fast through space.

A door opens, and an authoritative Comowe figure enters the room.

She says, "Greetings! Welcome aboard the Starship Terrastar Voyager. I am the Two Eye See here. The captain is on the bridge at the moment.

"Thank you for signing up for this explorative journey. We are pleased to have you join our crew.

"Our mission is to seek out new life, and new civilizations. We are to go boldly into galaxies never before explored.

"When you leave this room, your skills will be assessed, and a position will be assigned. The ship has an artificial intelligence which you can consult at any time for answers to questions.

"In the meantime, do you have any questions for me?"

Shi shakes hir head. "No, I didnt exspect to leave so soon but I'm happy to be on board."

One of the new crewmembers also speaks up, "Where do we sleep? Also, what was your name?"

"Sorry, I am Commander Diana. You will each have quarters assigned to you."

Another alien raises his hand, "How long will we be gone?"

"That is hard to say, but what we do know is that we can return home very quickly if we need to. Our maximum speed would allow us to cross 4 billion light years in the blink of an eye. Even so, we will not likely be returning for at least 1 year.

...

"If there are no more questions? ... Good. Please report to the holodeck for assessment some time in the next 8 hours. Dismissed."

Everyone begins to get up to leave.

Well... she heads right on over... why not.

Azraile heads into the hallway. It is a plain corridor.

((It can be frustratingly long to force a player to navigate things like this. But, it might make a difference in the long run. Perhaps not the whole thing, but how would she try to get there? List a few things she would attempt, and what she'd try if they didn't work))

Ask how, check computer, just wonder....

The first person Azraile asks is new like hir, and he doesn't know. But when she says, "Computer," a voice suddenly replies, "Yes, Azraile?" and after she asks where the holodeck is, the computer tells her to follow the blue arrows. Suddenly on the floor in front of Az are blue arrows leading the way.

After following the arrows down the corridor and into an elevator, the elevator stops and the door in front of her says, "Holodeck". The door slides open and reveals a simple black cube of a room with a spherical distortion of space in the center ((a Portal)).

Once inside, the door closes, and the computer tells her, "Please enter the Portal".

Part of her can't help but think that dont quite seam right but dose so.

Shi floats through Portal Space as would normally happen (though I believe this is hir first time). Then she comes out into a blank white space. Suddenly a short feminine figure appears in front of hir:



"Greetings Comowoid. I am your assessment supervisor. In the mission we are undertaking, the skills of our crew members will be tested to the limit. As such it will be important to understand what skills are at our disposal. Do you have any suggestions?"

"Not really and I'm not Comowoid."

"Ah, but you most certainly are, CLOD! Whoops! I apologize about that outburst, I have leftover code from a previous iteration of my personality program CLOD! Oy. Sorry.

"Anyway, you are most certainly Comowoid, as you have digit extension limbs, gravity connectors and even a central sensory bulb containing an olfactory sponge, communication hole, visual input spheres and emotional expression sheet. You have a body structure similar to the Comowe species, and are therefore Comowoid. Though you may be more familiar with the Nexun term, humanoid. Just exactly what is your species, anyway, clod?"

Ummm..... "I am not realy sure exsactly." Hir DNA is multi strand though so that might confuse it... ancient ancient race so DNA is vastly difrent from modern races descend from them. So in this game would probably be like the DNA of an angels kid. Lol
