00. Gamma, Lost and Found
He looked to Uziel, a neutral expression on his face until he realized that Uziel was giving him the green-light to do his thing, whether he knew it or not. He perked up, smiling, raising his head a little while looking back and forth between them, and got to talking.
"Well, i think a good start is trying to figure out just HOW electricity failed so suddenly, or how Magem and electricity act in the presence of one another. Now, the laws of conservation of energy are always in effect; Energy cannot be created nor destroyed. It can, however, change composition and "shape" if you will. That means, in theory, electricity changes into something else in the presence of Magem; something that we cannot detect, pick up, or use. Or perhaps it turns into Magem itself? Perhaps electricity is a component of Magem; and Magem is like a sponge or magnet for other forms of energies. It draws it in and absorbs it. Assimilates it. Another theory is that Magem and electricity are like a magnet; except instead of being attracted to each other like a north and south pole, they're so magnetically similar that they push each other away, with Magem being the superior force. This would make plenty of sense as to why we cannot have Magem and electricity in one place. That being said, any electrical presence on Gamma means that there is no Magem. Bringing Magem there in proximity to electricity would result in it changing or experiencing a process i previously explained. Of course, this is all in theory; i've not seen any actual tests or studies done..."
His gaze drifted off to the side for a moment at that last part, but he returned attention to the two. He spoke quickly and giddily, eager to finally be useful; regardless if they understood that or not. He didn't know what would be considered basic according to the standards of other people, so he tried to put it all simple, and to see where they'd go from there. It was a little bit of a mouthful though... Even though he didn't exactly move his mouth to talk at all. His lower throat flashed with that dim biolumniscence with each sound and syllable, though; an indicator that it was indeed him talking.
