OOC: As players, it is really best if you don't let your *s build up too much. More than 3x your current level is certainly too much, so I might automatically roll for you if you get that high. I did this for Uziel. I spent 4 of his *s and it raised his level by 2. Which is actually better than average chance. In this case, if it was worse than average, I'd have disregarded my rolls and left things as they were. But it worked out in Uziel's favor so I left it. That doesn't mean I'd do the same in the future.

22:02, Today: Narrator, on behalf of Uziel De'A'rath, rolled 4 using 1d6 with rolls of 4.
22:02, Today: Narrator, on behalf of Uziel De'A'rath, rolled 15 using 3d6 with rolls of 6,4,5. Advancement of Unimagus 3.
22:01, Today: Narrator, on behalf of Uziel De'A'rath, rolled 4 using 1d6 with rolls of 4.
22:01, Today: Narrator, on behalf of Uziel De'A'rath, rolled 11 using 2d6 with rolls of 6,5. Advancement of Unimagus.
Congratulations Uziel, you went from Unimagus [2/2] to [4/4]. This will open up new possibilities and higher power spells.
Regarding the telepathy, there's no way of knowing whether it succeeded or not. But telepathy is a Verimagus skill, and since you have experience with telepathy through the communicators and also as an Elf, you now have Verimagus (1/1) with Min4. Normally your element can't get higher than your skill level, but this is an exception related to the reasons I mentioned.
However, it did cause severe agony.
IC:
As soon as the thought message was sent, Uziel felt the telepathic static and headache as mentioned earlier. When the message ended the static went away but the headache remained. Uziel will have a headache for some time now.
((I can't remember if I specified which of the crew can MagemSmith, so I'm saying it is Scott now.))
Scott says, I might could do it. But I'd need to know exactly what they look like, how big they are, and I'd need a sample. It might work and it might not, but I could try if you think I should."
