07. Salphron's Doom

The Leprechaun pops his head out of the top of WWW Nec's head and says, "Recharge him by feeding him souls," and disappears again.

WWW Nec answers, "Any living sentient creature will due for the sacrifice. The portal is just the mechanism that my temple was held aloft by. It requires no energy to maintain, that's why I used it as the anchor for my temple." About the rose, "That same Leprechaun gave me a red seed and told me to keep it around fire Magus energy. I placed it below my Eternal Flame, which you've now trapped. It is filled with Fire Kenimagus energy. Fire magic Mana. It is called Fire Kenimana, and it is like Magusstone, but specific to fire Kenimagus and can give you access to those spells without needing knowledge of the field of Magus." He then proceeds to give a basic explanation of what Magus is etc. to explain those terms.

Well that's not happening......

Well if the rose don't like it, it won't absorb it so... He takes the actual rose's form out and brings it down to touch the other rose. It is self aware and knows whats best for itself.... just leave it up to it.

(if it lets the rose talk again...it don't have much of a personality... it's about what you would expect out of a crystal entity... kinda like an AI... all very mater a fact responses and carries out it's orders)

The rose absorbs the new red crystal rose, and gleams more brilliantly. It speaks, "New fire magic abilities absorbed. Capable of manipulating and causing fire and heat - ability amplified by unidentified ambient magic enhancing particles."

He raised a brow at that, it was already capable of creating an awful lot of heat, it would be interesting to get a chance to test how much it could create now. He sets about organizing the dead and preparing to transport, while having anything capable of carrying or moving things gather up.... well anything that wasn't nailed down.

In the meantime he formed a rose guardian and sent it skittering back along the vines to Constince, he forgot to leave her a rose to talk to her... silly him.

OOC: Since it was being powered by the soul flame of a necromancer, it also has Death Formagus & Soul Verimagus spells.

IC:
The army of dead obey him. The rose reaches Constince.

WWW Nec offers, "If you press the hidden button below where my soulflame and the rose had been, the entire temple will fold up into a pocket Portal, and can be carried around literally in your pocket. It takes awhile to fold in and fold out, but it is easier to move that way."

OOC Ah well in that case he don't send the rose. lol  He was going to do so to talk about if she could open a portal down there or if anyone would freak out if he marched an undead army through the WWW >.>  because..... what the hell is he going to do with it?

He uses the rose to communicate with the living dead back home and tell them about the side of the temple and get them to start ordering the masses of dead to dig out room in the caverns where the necropolis is to store it there.

Then he packs up the WWW Nec in his gem, heads outside and has one of the undead inside hit the button. There undead, it don't matter if there is air or not in the pocket.

Once it's packed up he grabs it and gets on the buss and heads back to Constince and the portal.

When he reaches Constince, she asks, "What do you need to get rid of him? Do you need more people? Something else?"

After he answers and she reacts to his answer, she says, "So we actually have a list of known necromancers and how to find them. Some are harder than others, but I can give you access to that list if you'd be willing to help us out further. As it is, I'm confident you'll be left alone by my fellow hunters. The enemy of our enemies is our friend."

Salphron experiences no problems returning to his home.

One of the treasures is openable with the blood of someone who isn't dead or undead. The others, need the death of someone who is alive to open.

OOC: What things were you hoping to accomplish with Salphron? Before he starts his next adventure, I wanted to get a feel for what you were looking for.

He checks to see if  Alfheim will allow him to handle 3 of there executions, explaining the situation if needed, but offering to pay well and return the bodies.

He will see if any of his living dead are willing to bleed on the one chest.

Once the area is dug out for temple he will place it out near the Necropolis.

(He was honest about his goals he wants to recreate his clan, and it's kingdom, make it prosperous. Find a way to bring back the souls of the original clan members if possible.)

07. Salphron's Doom

When Salphron returns to his land, he is met by an ancient 6'6" woman dressed in black and grey robes. "I am Norfal, m'Lord. I am of the Priest peoples of this Oner." Her long thin and wispy white hair practically crackles in the breeze. "I am 666 years old, and I will die this year 6 months, 6 days and 6 hours before my birthday. It has been my life's prophecy that I would become the enabler of a great and noble mage of death in my own death. Therefore I beg you to take my life and restore it to me that I might serve you for 1000 years. After my years of service to you, I will have learned enough to ensure my own eternal survival in my own Oner, with my own servants who - if they will serve me half as well as I would serve you, I would be fortunate indeed."

Everything else is contingent on this.

OOC: I had forgotten about his goals

Lawful evil. She has a strict personal moral code, but it isn't typically considered "good". She is absolutely truthful, though she can be wrong, she will never lie.

"I know you to be a great necromancer because you are currently carrying the soul of the very necromancer that 999 years ago, I was prophecied to serve. You have entered into my world and broken the course of history. The spirits are quite agitated. New prophecies are flowing from the oracles like springs. Whole star systems have altered their courses. The expected death date of Oner 0 has leapt closer and now remains uncertain. An ancient lost planet has-"

Just then an image of a planet exploding appears in the sky, more distant than the background radiation yet simultaneously everywhere at once.

The Priest, Norfal continues without appearing bothered or surprised, "just died in such a way that nearly everyone has now seen it's death. Dragons are becoming interested in the events of humans yet again. Leprechauns are appearing all over the place. Portents of a doom pervade the ether. Need I go on?

"As for what I can do for you, I can heal your undead as easily as your living. I can summon nearly any spirit, soul or otherworldly being. I can speak with all creatures. ... And I can provide the willing blood and life sacrifice you require to open your newly obtained treasures if you agree to raise me and let me serve you for 1000 years."

Isn't suprized she knows about the treasures she said she was to follow him. "Well that explains the rude welcome I got, though I am not sure how my arrival could age the universe unless it let some of the void creatures in." Never thought about that...."What sort of priestess are you and what moral code guides you?" While they talk... if the druids arent around.. he uses the rose to spy on the progress of clearing out space.

Norfal explains, "The amount of mass in Oner 0 has significantly increased. The majority of that increase happened when you arrived. The mass added to this Oner is on the order of about 10 billion galaxies worth of mass. No one is certain where that mass is. The added mass is increasing the acceleration of the galaxies toward one another.

"Priests are a race of humans and I am of that race. I am a little long-lived for my people, but not by much. Mainly it means that I am good at healing and prone to thinking about philosophies and religions and such.

"This is my code:
-To seek my survival - in life and in death
-To keep my word - in spirit and to the letter
-To serve those I serve with utter loyalty so long as I serve them
-Never to betray the trust of those I serve or have served"

He raised a brow "I do not see how my arrival could have caused this... We must prepare to leave this uni.... Oner sooner rather than later then." He smiles though. "I would say this is a vast improvement, My last apprentice was pixie that tried to steal from me. Though I don't think we will easy be finding you a warrior who's skull you can ride in." He says with a smirk, and then sighs "Well if your life nears it's end we can't wait from them to dig out the caverns bellow, we will have to use the swamp lands to the south to expand the crypt out into. It should have everything I need there to revive you as well."

Buggerit, what does Salphron need in order to revive her and how much work would it conceivably take to be ready? She was going to be the sacrifice because a willing sacrifice reveals the full secrets of the treasures while anything less only partially opens the chests.

He don't really need anything.... but for best results he should prepare all sorts of stuff.... think like magus works. You can do it just on the fly and stuff, but if you want really good results, well then you want to do stuff like set up a magic circle have reagents, do all sorts of things.

His plans was to gather every thing from the temple and transport it down to the necropolis actually if he had time... but if she was dying soon set it up all there in the temple. Maybe use up the bodies of any Zombie Vungtra and Shadowmen that where created from inocents or children and the like to drain the dark and death energies from them, and release there souls.... and use the energies (not the souls) to power the magic and pump it several times.

He's lost a lot of his power so has to make up for it to make sure she is a truely immortal living dead that won't rot and decay and will look pasable as a living being with out having to feed on the souls of others..... don't think he can pull that off with Undying Inter-dimensional Litch King [2/3] and World fordger [0/1] even throwing in the power of the items he has.....

he needs other things to give him power to give her that.

I mean he can't even pull that off for himself right now.... maybe if he left his body behind but he don't want to risk that right now >.>

He WILL however abandon any sense of humanity or life to do it.... which is why he would rather do it down in the caverns... but hey if the worlds coming to and end.... >.>

Salphrons true form, at full power is a miles long in size draco-litch.

Even now he would be hundreds of feet long in his true form and mostly skelital with strands of rotting flesh held together (with as little as he's been able to collect.... he needs to eat..... and eat a LOT to get some flesh on those bones XD)

Anything...... the more full of death energy the stronger his body is, more able it is to hold itself together with out having to spend energy to keep it from decaying to bone. The more fresh (or alive) the easier it is to appear as if he was alive with out expending energy to maintain it.

Shadow dragons are quite large... elder shadow dragons are more on the scale of small mountain ranges in there full size.

He would not only have to regain his lost power though to get that big again, he would have to eat a small mountain worth of bones, and a large mountain of flesh. o.o

He is not all that worried about it though and don't care about his size long as his form is able to contain his power.... and considering his power is quite the bit weaker now.... there isn't much to worry about there.

Though talking about him sheeding his human form to gain a boost in power (not waisting energy looking alive, not waisting energy cloaking his own energies or his death state, not waisting energy creating a false living state, and not wasting energy making his form small and human).....   I can't help think of mumm-Ra

I just realized something, you allowed mana crystals to work here... the nectropolipse only real function other than a place yo store dead, relics, books, ect ect..you can do that anywhere was bosting ritals... and, the reason he stole it, it produced a sizable supply of darkness mana.

So he can also burn up what ever its produced when he gets down there.

BTW, remember how ghosts eat spirits, and when they roll for advancement, their temporary gains act as extra dice in the roll and lead to rapid levelling up? Well, necromancers do that too. That's why WWW Nec is so powerful at full strength. WWW Nec isn't even a very powerful necromancer.

IC: Norfal informs Salphron, "I am also a friend of this Oner's Dragons, and one of the Dragon clans has agreed to give you a gift which should be arriving... now."

Suddenly dinosaurs.

Lots of 4'-12' dinosaurs, all over the orbital island. In addition to this, the area of Salphron's island has been doubled.

Norfal explains, "Dragons of this Oner are all female, except for the first offspring of the first Dragon. They are capable of altering any part of their biology through manipulation of their genetic code. This is an innate ability for them. Dinosaurs are the genetically designed offspring of Dragons - originally hatched to gather protein to their Matron - the Dragon who designed and hatched them. These and the extra land are a gift to you, in hopes that you will develop a relationship with the Dragons of this Oner. You are their only eligible bachelor, and your male otherworldly dragon DNA is highly coveted.

"These dinosaurs are all sentient and all are willing sacrifices to do your bidding - from moving furniture to even feeding you their very flesh. After all, that was their original designed intent.

"I would very much like to transition to death as soon as possible, what else might you need for that purpose?"

He nods and has servants start preparing the chambers in the Nectropolius. While they wait for the tomb to exspand so they can get the chests and supplies. "We have more than enough. Do not the Civilizations of this Oner look down on the feasting upon of sentient beings?" It has been ages sense he had any desire for breeding, let alone the capability of it. However if the dragons of this Oner had life magics powerful enough to give him such an ability he would be willing to court them for there favor. "I have learned one thing over my time it is easier to service with allies than enemies. Feasting on the souls tends to make enemies.... there bodies it tends to come down to how well liked the owner of those bodies where I find...."

EI - yes he is intersted in eating people and won't spend days up crying about the lives they could have lived =p   He is worried though people will think he's a monster for doing it and seek to destroy him and his kindom if they find out though.

That and he still thinks souls and people are more usefull resorces intact.

Though his body is beat the hell up >.>
