None of us could see in there. I think the idea is to cover the staircase in darkness as cover, then  move through it quickly to do the fighting upstairs, out of darkness. I think.

I thought he was healthy? Did I miss damage to him?

Might have killed him from full health regardless...

Weird, that. It looks like Kyra may have hit him with 4 damage two turns ago, though she was shooting at Parns. But even if he was bruised, I would have thought it would take more than 17 damage to kill him outright.

Does not look like stabilize will help here, but Kyra may still try it. Not like she is going to be of much use anyway now that her healing spells are expended and everyone is in melee. This looks all over but for the cleanup.

Think we need a map update.

Smacked him good, but I think I need a round to heal myself.

If he's got less than 19 hitpoints, I'm going to be really disappointed. You guys are doing nonlethal, as long as we have a few nonlethal he'll be out before he's at 0 regular hitpoints.

Also not power attacking so crit max is 38 and I'm sure he must have more than 28 or so hitpoints, so could probably be stabilized. Probably ...

I could go back to sap if you want, but I dropped it... Or cold iron morning star, keeping lethal but less max damage (1d8+7 if two handed, 1d8+5 if not)

I'm assuming they're MW kukri's so you'd have +1 hit. And of course a bigger crit range, but less damage. Seems like not a big benefit unless you have weapon focus or something too? Or crit feats?

This guys AC is pretty high, you may just go with 1 attack with MW weapon instead.

More or less what I'm thinking. AC is high enough to strive for whatever advantage we can get.

We need to get him out of the corner so kraw can flank. But my combat maneuvers aren't the greatest...

Getting him out of the corner is pretty tough. The best way is a Reposition maneuver, which I am sure no one has. It can still be done, but whoever attempts will take an AoO and needs to beat the guy's CMD which I am gauging to be in the 15+ range. Tripping him is pretty much the same. This is the type of stuff that Fighters excel in.

My dog is downstairs waiting. I did not bother to use him here because of the tight conditions. He would have just got in the way.

Overall, I think we need to tough it out and just beat him into submission.

Afraid I don't have any hexes at all, and won't for a while. Also got no spells or gear that could be useful here.

Grease would be Stellar. Get him offbalance.

It's not on my spell list. I'll have to invest in a cheap wand (of say, Command) to have something to do in situations like this in the future.
