Well, while you were gone, I robbed a few places, hid some of the loot in Stanton's room, then led authorities to him for the reward. I just need to shop for better gear now.....

I am in talks with a player on W-GM looking for a small party game and we agreed on CotCT so here we are. I don't know if you want to stick with greb or reconsider a new character and I think it will depend a bit on what the new people are coming in with but yeah...looks like we're putting a game together.

Greb or a Slayer of undetermined race(Tengu or hobgoblin).

How many will be in the party? Small party, three people? I enjoy such a party size, and it does demand characters with some variability in their abilities. I’ve got a few ideas, a Warpriest and a sorcerer being two of them... Greb, will you favor melee or ranged combat?

Melee likely. Either with Greb as rogue or Tengu/Hobgoblin Slayer. Although I am considering other races, Slayer seems a potent HTH fighter.

Often taken for the bows and arrows in my experience, but I agree it should be potent in melee!

I envision a Tengu Slayer, high Dex, with Deadly Agility from Paths of War, twin Aldori Dueling blades, and Effortless Lace on the offhand weapon. OR maybe Elven Curve Blade with Pirahna Strike.

No on Paths of War stuff, try to stick to Paizo published.

The closest equivalent is Slashing Grace but you can't go TWF with it. Best alternative would be to go Unchained Rogue to get the 3rd level Rogue ability to use Dex for damage on a specific weapon.

That's what I feared. Tengu is still a decent choice for rogue.

Dont remember what book but there is a two-weapon fighting feat that works with Grace ... but its yet another feat on top of Finesse, Focus, your Grace of choice, and the Two Weapon tree. Also it gives a small to hit penalty. While cool for if you wanna be Drizzt, its a huge investment EDPE IALLY if you arent human and dont get bonus feats. Also hi :)

Yeah, I get it. Too many Feats for limited return. But Unchained Rogue with 18-20 Dexterity, using Elven Curve Blade (either Tengu or Elf to get XWP for free) works good for damage output.

So, Greb confirmed for Rogue? A possible Warpriest or Sorcerer as well?

Actually thinking the Tengu Rogue. Kind of like the idea of getting Dex-based damage with an Elven Curve Blade. And I love the gifted Linguist ability of Tengus. I love speaking multiple languages, if only for private communications. His name would be Kraw.

Currently reconsidering my plans, so tell me if you want arcane or such - I can pick something to adapt. Will manage to whip up a solid concept, most of a backstory and most of a sheet tomorrow unless unexpected stuff happens :)

Roll for gold,  Average Gold,   or Max gold for level 1?
