Re: [OOC] The Tavern - For all your chatting needs

Will Jardan and I get a chance to acquire our own Harrow Points?

Is the Fishery near The Old Dock?

In reply to Greb (msg # 64):

I think those harrow point totals are old.

Only one of those characters is in this game.

And the white/blue are windows? If it is one story, why do I see stairs in room 4?

Re: [OOC] The Tavern - For all your chatting needs

I might be able to silently break the glass in N-17 or near the sleeping thug. Then slip through and kill either a guard or the thug. Wish I had a sap, could do this nonlethally.

Re: [OOC] The Tavern - For all your chatting needs

The blue windows on the north side of #4 are not accessible. There is the remains of a ship up against the backside of the docks. A quick examination shows no entrance from the outside but there appears to be an entrance to it from inside the fishery.

Re: [OOC] The Tavern - For all your chatting needs

That ship may well be where Limm is sleeping, since I did not see him inside, and I doubt he'd be just inside the unknown areas.

How are they NOT accessible to Me? Natural climb 30', I can get to them and break them open silently.

Re: [OOC] The Tavern - For all your chatting needs

Probably easiest just to come back with the info and we can all head into one of the entrances.

We can probably head up the ramp and try to get twelve of those children out without much trouble. Before we have to start fighting.

Knowledge: Local

to see what I know about Limm's kids and if the kids will respond to us with violence if we try to liberate them.

Re: [OOC] The Tavern - For all your chatting needs

@Greb: The windows are aligned with the portholes of the ship, or what remains of one. It's a floating rot pile. I also made the assumption that you didn't want to go into any potentially dangerous areas that might Leroy Jenkins the whole encounter. If you want to be more aggressive with your scouting make a stealth check.

@Jaemon: Lamm's Lambs aren't evil, the orphans press ganged into crime in exchange for a place to sleep and some gruel of their own. If violence breaks out they will most likely try to run and hide however those of you with experience in the gang know that sometimes Lamm's thugs will whip the kids forward as cannon fodder. While the kids don't do much damage they cause enough of a distraction for the heavy hitters to come into play.

They can probably be bluffed/diplomacy'd/intimidated into submission fairly easily...

Re: [OOC] The Tavern - For all your chatting needs

I say we build our "marching order" like this:
quote:
Greb & Jardan lead the way as they are quiet

Jaemon & Serra second as we have some support and can take some heat (I think Serra is a clericy type)

Stanton & Andrezi last as they are the wizardy types.

Greb and Jardan can sneak up and take a look with the rest of us 20 ft behind ready to move up.

On the cast list it looks like Serra isn't even in group 1.

Can she see the posts?

Noticed something like that too, thought she had left the game... But maybe not?

Re: [OOC] The Tavern - For all your chatting needs

Bad news guys. The last of the original players has dropped and I am going to pull the plug on this game.

Originally I was excited to resurrect this game because 2 out of the 4 players were still active a year later and having 2 long standing players made me want to use them but also to finally give them the game they were promised.

HOWEVER they have both since dropped and although I am very happy with the players assembled, especially because more then half of you are in other games I'm in BUT my  schedule has altered and I have actually been concerned that this game might stretch my time commitments.

With the final drop and the fact that most of you have only invested less then a week of effort I feel it is better to just pull the plug now then to cause my other commitments to suffer.

Please accept my deepest apologies for leading you on because that was never my intention.

I will leave this game active for a little while so you can save your character sheets and backgrounds.
