Sorry to be delinquent lately. It's the end of the semester and we're planning a trip back to the States over the summer, so I've been busy.

Just for the record, Porter has the auto rifle, heavy auto pistol, and one each of frag, tangler and doze grenades from the ambushers.

Thanks for the well-wishes and I'm back!

Orvo and Porter; This is what the team has been missing, some extra military backgrounds in situations like this.  Hammer is another great addition too (not to leave anyone out).  Our Technical & Medical skills are up and that should free them up a little to deal with the things they need to deal with.

Just to be clear, our comms are not to where they can't be heard by others?  Being, we don't have ear pieces or contained conversations that only we can listen to?

I don't want to Meta-Game but, I think it's safe to assume that the KLC guy is holding a Frag Grenade.  It's possible it is another type and he's bluffing but again, we can't really go through all of this IC with our current comms and hence my question.

We're also going to have to work out procedures for handling situations like this once (if) we get done here.  I just want to try to play this clean without getting people hurt and them not expecting a shot from Desi (or, one of the others) to end this or, make it worse.

In times like this, I like to remember that the worst that can happen is we all need to start rolling 3d6 six times -- or in the case of Star Frontiers, d% four times. :)

I've got an idea, which may get us out of this, or may get us all killed. Let's find out if Porter's fast reflexes are fast enough...

Yes, they can probably identify it as a frag grenade from where they're standing.

After hearing the name of 'Boot", I think we need to make decision on how this is going to go after hearing the transmission.  Once again, not trying to meta-game but, someone is ready to shoot and take a chance.  Apolgies.  I would happily explain her reasons after this is over if needed.

I realize that this is happening pretty quick but, is it practical that Desi can bring her rifles sights back up on the commando holding Hammer?  I know that it is going to be dependent if Porter gets the grenade secured or dropped to the ground.  She just wants to be ready to take a shot, if needed.

It will be assigned a percentage.  I would say a -45% chance to hit the commando.  Upon failure, a 50/50 chance to hit Hammer instead.

Is the area where we're at an open one as it looks on the map?  Does it look like we can get the grenade outside or to another area IF we get it?

Will post after Heath has the opportunity to answer but, I'm thinking that her response to the actions is similar.
