Re: Discussion Zone

For that matter, I'm somehow in 2nd, even though I wasn't really 'competitive' towards the end of either previous rounds (the ones I were in, I mean) - I think the closest I got was having a chance to win with at least a month of extra time and a lot of luck.
But, people shouldn't worry too much if they're behind this early on.
Maybe consider shortening your timeframes - you might be wasting time - but you'll need some degree of luck to win anyway; There's several good players here, and it's probable at least one of them will get a lucky break.

EDIT: Oh, and 'Narrator': Could we know how many, if any, of the failed players fell to things other than abandoning the game?
Later on, I'd prefer you did not reveal such information, but this early I'm curious if anyone actually managed to get killed off.

Re: Discussion Zone

I also feel like I should add that even though my rolls are usually VERY bad, I won the last round. So, if you play well, you can beat even the immortal dice roller!

Re: Discussion Zone

Ruree, No - both players left the game.  Neither player was actually beaten.  If so done at this stage, of the game; that would be truly disturbing.  After month 2, I can see it.  But, within the first two months?  That would really bite.

Re: Discussion Zone

Posting here because I'm trying not to be confusing in the area for the council...but what are the articles that we're voting for or even able to select...?

Re: Discussion Zone

What were the rules for what things get enacted, by the way?
For Stage 1 it's the top 3, but I feel like more than one thing can be changed in Stage 2 as well.
Was it everything over a certain number of votes?

Re: Discussion Zone

Yes -  in order to prevent every article that gets a single vote from being enacted - each Article must have at least Positive 5 (5 yeas) going for it to be enacted.

Thus, if an Article has 10 Nays, and 13 Yeas - it will not be enacted.

But, an Article that receives 5 Nays and 12 Yeas - would be enacted.

Hey folks - sorry for the post delays, was trying to delay as long as possible to give people a chance to recover and post.  Life is pretty chaotic for all it seems!

Re: Discussion Zone

Been having one of those weeks. I checked in, had things 'thought out' and then BOOM....random guy I have been trying to do something with for months invites me to comic con.

Re: Discussion Zone

Folks - hope everything is okay - not everyone has posted their results-updates from week 2, nor their turn post.  Please update when you all can.  I hope everyone is safe out there!

Definitely getting cold here, but thankfully I'm either working from home or on public transport so someone else has to worry about snow and ice (or, more commonly, rain)   :)

It seems folks are having a hard time playing due to real life schedules (for those wondering why results weren't posted).  I hope everyone out there is okay.

I'd be for some patience, but it's been a while by now; It's not some brief inconvenience preventing whoever it is from posting, they're likely busy for a while.
