I don't think I publically announced it, now that I'm thinking about it. Oops! ^.^;

There's a chart of everyone's types and classes and the dorm room assignments. I'll remember to bump that thread the next time I add an entirely new chart.

This time of year really makes me miss City of Heroes. And now Codewalker has added hunting presents, including the Jingle Jet, to Paragon Chat.

I really, really, miss logging in and working through a mission or two with my wife. During the Winter Event present hunting and Winter Lord fighting was great fun. So many characters that I never got to play in the game.

I've got a quick question on redirect. It says that the new target has to be adjacent to me and in range of the attack. Does that mean if I want to redirect in melee that I have to have two targets standing right next to each other, or could I be in the middle of two enemies and have one hit someone who is adjacent to me but not the original attacker. For example, if I was on square C8 on the grid, could I redirect an attack from the planimal in D7 at the planimal in D9?

The advantage stipulates that the new target must be in reach of the attack as well as adjacent to you. So, if they have reach, you can do that.

I'm stopping in real quick to say I've been dealing with internet outages uncharacteristic weather and areal flooding.  I've got a moment and internet access right now but I'm not sure when everything is going to get back to normal.  Do whatever you need to to keep things moving in the meantime.

Glad to hear it sounds like everyone had a good holiday season (of whichever variety you celebrate). :D

I missed the initial roll call question, so in that regard, holidays were great (nice and quiet, like I like em), and as always, I'm around unless I've posted otherwise. (practically live on the computer after all)

Well, I finally finished up the Extron tier 2 AV training. My 87% on the final test is passing, but irritatingly low. But that's a three month long monkey off of my back. Now I just need to wait and see if we ever get the training we actually need.

Long term self-destructive expectations say I should get at least a 90% on every test. When I score below that, I fight against self-loathing and depression for a couple of days. I know it's illogical and self-destructive but...

I know passing was an 80%. I know I scored higher than most of my coworkers, including my bosses. I know all that, but part of me still whispers, "You suck. You failed. You should have done better."

Some days I hate my brain. Fortunately I'm getting better at short-circuiting that inner voice.

So... I was gonna update. I really was! I'm still planning on it... But when I open the thing to start I end up staring at it with a feeling of ugh.

So, yea, I dunno. I'm pretty frustrated in general lately, and all the things that aren't right with this game are extra annoying right now. (By which I mean, for example, all the bullshit drama left over as a result of Bystander being a slackass.)

Yikes, well, that's no fun. I'm really having fun (especially since this is the longest-lasting M&M game I've ever been in), but in the end you've gotta do you. Maybe it would be easier to reboot it (same PCs, new setting)?
