His head tilts very slightly, "Would you like to read your file? I can get you a copy. Consider it the second half of the payment for your services. That's a more fair exchange, don't you think?"

Inside those, however, is a very tiny electrical device roughly the size of an USB thumb drive, with some wires coming out of one end and an extremely small camera on the other side.

Finally she gets up and makes her way toward the lab stopping shy of the doors. Once there she leans against a wall and stares off into space with the occasional twinge of anger or fear on her face the only sign that she's thinking at all.

There are lots and lots of glass objects in the lab, but after a few minutes of careful listening, she hears it: the dull throbbing music of thick, aquarium style glass, four panes of it in close proximity to each other, each about two meters tall and one across.

A few hours later after she finds herself back in the Arts Room quietly practicing. Every few minutes she gives an annoyed sigh as she plays. Again and again she plays the same thirty second snippet slowly perfecting the piece.

Emily lets the statement hang in the air longer than is comfortable. "Yeah. There's a tank in there. And yeah I do realize that it's just the right size to go all bad sci fi movie on one of us."

"Girl, you have the right attitude for this line of work, that's for sure. But you lack experience. Those cameras belong to the school. The NSA gave them to us and said, 'Use these on your campus.' So we did. They make for a nice CCTV security system when you wire them up right. Professor Henningsen asked me to bring her the box of spares for something, some project of hers. Getting information out of that bitch is like pulling teeth from a toddler, though, so I didn't even ask," he says, and then turns to leave.
He stops and looks back over his shoulder after a couple steps and adds, "If my other boss is right, you'll know what's in that tank if you go through that disc thoroughly enough."
Then he starts off again, putting his hands in his pockets, and whistling the tune Emily was practicing.
