Character Creation Outline
1. Make an account on Myth-Weavers.com and make a sheet for your character.

2. Use Pathfinder's Point-Buy array, for High Fantasy, 20 pts for ability scores.

3. Choose a race. See the Racial Considerations thread for clarifications regarding races.

4. Choose a class and allocate 3 levels. See the Class Considerations thread for clarifications regarding classes.

5. Allocate Skill Ranks. In our game, we will use the Background Skills variant.

6. Choose Feats. See the Class Considerations thread for sources or ask me if you have a feat in mind. Everyone starts with a bonus feat. Everyone has 2 traits. No drawback traits.

7. We start at the maximum HD of our classes. After that, we roll normally (rerolling 1s).

8. Choose equipment. Everyone has 3,000 gp to spend on combat related items (think magic armor, weapons, etc), their favored class' average starting wealth to spend on mundane items and 1,000 gp to spend on utility items (think along the lines of a handy haversack, a spool of endless rope or a feather token - tree).

Ex: A night elf cavalier spends 2,000 gp on magic armor for her nightsaber and 1000 gp on a dire collar. Cavaliers have an average starting wealth of 175 gp, which she spends on weapons, armor for herself and an exotic military saddle. She carries 5 tree feather tokens, 200 gp each.

9. Determine saving throws, initiative and attack values.

10. Other class features, such as spells. World of Warcraft RPG spells are good inspiration.

In reply to DM (msg # 1):

This is Lorin Sunheart

I took the liberty of adding Lore(Artifacts) as a background skill. If it's not OK let me know.

I also assumed Blood Elves get Common and Thalassian for free. Could you provide me with a list of available languages for me to choose from? (Yay for high int modifiers)

There are some stuff missing which i will add soon, just need a quick OK for me to proceed.

The following languages are available for learning;

Common
Thalassian
Darnassian
Dwarven
Gnomish
Gutterspeak (human slang)
Orcish
Zandali (Troll)
Goblin
Grune (Ogre)
Gnoll
Kobold
Kalimag (elemental)

Taurahe (Tauren) (only if you're familiar with Kalimdor)
Ursan (Furbolg) (only if you're familiar with Kalimdor)

And finally, code languages;

Morse Code; Taps, Pips or Lines which are interrupted by pauses to create letters. It is presumed that people who speak the same language and know Morse Code also know their language's system of Morse Code.

Braille; A series of indentations pressed into thick parchment, allowing the blind to read by touch. It is presumed that people who speak the same language and know Morse Code also know their language's system of Braille.

Sign Language; A language based on hand gestures, allowing two people to communicate without sound. It is presumed that people who speak the same language and know Morse Code also know their language's system of Sign language.

Bird Calls; You can make complicated bird calls. Though it's typically plain to hear that these are not the real animals if you don't have a whistle for it, you can roll Knowledge (Nature) or Survival against an enemy's Sense Motive to exchange an agreed upon signal without standing out from the forest.
