Palmera Nights [Jeanne]
As Thursday night disappeared and Friday night began, the dreams returned to Jeanne. Not the nightmares of blackened depths, but the pleasant dreams of what was most assuredly her blessed future. A future that, by all accounts, was already starting to become a reality. At the same time, the dreams egged her on, to do more, to become more. Nishi had already promised to help out with the last part.

Friday morning came as it always did: With a blaring alarm clock, streaks of sunlight filtering in through the windows, and a naked schoolgirl on each side. Well, perhaps not as they always did, but as they always could, so things seemed.

Gina squeezed into the goddess' side, murmuring something unintelligible as she tried in vain to make the night last a few minutes longer. Natalia reached for the alarm clock, on the opposite side of Jeanne, but couldn't quite make it and mostly ended up flopping across the other two, listlessly.

This wasn't going to work.

After a moment, Natalia managed to shimmy back to her original position, nuzzling into Jeanne's chest as her delicate lips and warm breath danced against the teacher's skin. Kissing her awake was probably a better option than groaning and shaking her. Meanwhile, Gina just kept squeezing tighter and tighter, wrapping Jeanne in a big, mushy bear hug.

The good life was here, and if Jeanne could only muster the strength to get out of bed, it promised to get better still.

Palmera Nights [Jeanne]
Waking up was easy, but getting up was proving already to be a Herculean task. The girls were beautifully, powerfully soft and warm, and she lazily lifted the arm she could actually move to lazily brush Natalia's hair. ...Once she was the queen of everything ever, she would abolish mornings. Or at least, alarm clocks.

"Alright, chouchous..." she croaked out after a short eternity of her alarm clock's buzzing. "We 'ave places to be, ouais?"

...Well, the girls probably got up later than Jeanne herself did, ordinarily. And they had certainly been up kind of late. Vaguely, the goddess considered calling in sick. Maybe it would pay to get Mister Hoffman sooner rather than later just so she could be lazier.

Eh. Whatever. They had lots of time before school, and that meant lots of time to scrub each other really well under the heat of the shower. Slowly she sat up, giving Natalia time to move and prying her other arm out from under Gina.

Today's list was Arlene for sure, and depending on how her time with Nishimura went, she would maybe consider hitting up Soggy's and chatting with Erin. High school girls every night would be like eating cake for breakfast, right? Perfectly healthy and nice, but sometimes it was probably better to eat...eggs or something.

She could have Naomi come up with a better metaphor for her, too.

When she managed to get herself to her feet and mostly free of adoring cultists, she'd lead the girls to the shower for what might become a morning routine to match the nightly one, then start on eggs for three. She didn't have any cake.

Shit, she could go for some cake.

The girls followed along to the shower diligently, which almost assuredly turned into a before-school quickie after the scrubbing. Or during. Soap is awfully slippery, after all. Once the shower was said and done, the girls took a bit longer than Jeanne to get ready - no doubt fussing with their hair and make-up (what Jeanne lacked was kept in their purses) - giving the teacher a few minutes to herself.

It wasn't until the eggs were already hitting plates that the girls emerged, finding their seats.

"Aww, I could have helped..." Natalia murmured, though there was no denying the twinkle in her at the thought of eating her goddess' cooking.

"Thanks, Miss O~" Gina prayed before digging in. It was basically like saying grace, right?

Natalia did likewise, smiling to herself as she sampled Jeanne's gourmet French cooking. After a few bites, she looked up to the goddess, a puzzled expression on her face.

"So... Should we say something to Nishimura at school about this?" She asked. "Or would it be better to just... like... not?"

La Déesse settled in with the third plate, idly thinking about when she'd turn back. Because she definitely had to for school, she probably wouldn't be able to show up with scales and pass it off as a skin condition. For that and other reasons, she was sort of in a hurry to eat, though the other reasons might have mostly been extreme withdrawal after almost twenty minutes without bitches attached to her.

"Naomi knows what is up, chouchou, you do not 'ave to worry too much. Just remembair what I said, look out for her if it seems like she needs it."

The food went down easily, leaving her with a little extra time to kill and her thoughts. She wanted to get to school a little early to check for sharks...but before that, she reluctantly had to put her fish dick away.

She closed her eyes and tried to remember what it had been like a month or so ago, when she was nothing but a slightly off-kilter lady in a shitty apartment that taught art to a bunch of kids taking it as a free A. What did that feel like...what did that feel like...

...It felt like garbage, and even thinking about it was almost repulsive even after just two days in the sea-drenched spotlight.

Palmera Nights [Jeanne]
It took a couple tries and took more juice than it felt like it should have, but Jeanne managed to think enough puny human thoughts to turn back to normal. Somehow, it felt much harder than shifting in the other direction, as if her body itself protested at the thought of going back to being a humble mortal. The fin-ears sucked back into her normal ears, while the scales and shell faded back into normal skin.

"Ooooh," Gina hummed, watching intently as their goddess un-deified herself.

"Aww," Natalia murmured. "You looked even prettier the other way..."

Well, if Nishi was true to her word, Jeanne would get to go all the way after school. And that was supposed to feel even better...

Natalia finished up her eggs in short order and diligently took her plate to the sink. "We should probably leave a bit earlier," she called back to Gina over her shoulder, "just so we're not getting there at the same time. Right, my lady?"

At the last part, Jeanne's current High Priestess smiled back at her, sweet and heavenly. It was strange to think that, in just two days, Jeanne had tamed and bedded the scourge of Palmera High's girls, not to mention all but one of her cohorts. Or maybe that was nothing worth patting herself on the shoulder over, being a goddess and all. No, for now it probably was...

Jeanne stretched and cracked her neck when all was said and done. This...wasn't a great feeling; it wasn't a crash, but it definitely felt like coming down after everything from the night before, and she was sure she looked older and more tired than she did when she dipped into her goddess pool.

"Ouais...I am not so fond of zis, eizzair. But I cannot just walk around like zat yet. Not until I do...a lot more work." She leaned back in her chair, stretching her arms above her head and nearly losing her balance in it before she rolled forward and stood.

...Despite the sort of awful feeling that came with going full human again, Natalia made her heart skip a beat, and she grinned back.

"You are a clevair girl, chouchou. You and Gina go on ahead, ouais? I will see you in French, and I will see you bos at lunch."

Natalia may have been the best High Priestess she could hope for - cute, smart, and she knew how to suck up in all the right ways.

"Of course," Natalia smiled and blushed when she noticed the way Jeanne was looking at her. Gina finished up her own plate and, after a moment of considering whether or not to just hand it off to Natalia, went and cleaned it herself. They really were better like this, weren't they..?

Once Gina had finished up, the pair collected their things and got ready to head off. Natalia stepped up to Jeanne and, after a brief hesitation, gave her a kiss on the lips, slow and wet, but without lingering long enough to be presumptuous. Gina frowned mightily and immediately went to snatch one of her own when Natalia was done, throwing a bit more oomph in it and pressing herself against Jeanne. It was a transparent and childish attempt at one-upsmanship, but then, that was part of Gina's charm.

Natalia just rolled her eyes and headed for the door.

"See you later, my lady," she called back.

Gina hurried after her, grinning back at Jeanne as she went. The door shut behind them, and soon enough Jeanne was all by her lonesome yet again.

"You 'ave a safe trip, chouchous. I will see you soon." Almost not soon enough, as if she hadn't spent enough time with the two of them yet. Jeanne's lips still tingled, and she ended up leaning against the door, cackling to herself as she brushed them with her fingers.

It would be sort of a long evening without them, without a doubt.

The goddess didn't take too long to finish getting ready after her students left; she gave a quick glance over her lesson plans for the day (and made a mental note that she'd have to put some more substantial time into actually doing lesson plans at some point over the weekend), then pulled on her jacket and headed out to her bike to head off to school.

Ultimately, she wanted a few minutes of relative peace anyway - it was before school that Shark was supposed to show up, right? It felt prudent to take a couple of minutes to try and hunt her down. Maybe surprise her.

If she didn't find anything, well, she still had a class to get to and at least put a token effort into teaching.

Strangely, Jeanne could swear she saw the Russian clear as day on her ride to school, just sitting under a palm tree and checking her phone. Probably texting one of her many, many 'girlfriends', just like the old days. But... On second glance, she was gone. Maybe it was just Jeanne's paranoia getting the better of her.

Or... No, hang on.

With all the night's excitement, did Jeanne remember to take her meds? Shit, maybe she did forget. It was all such a blur of sexy, naked teenagers that she couldn't remember if she took them or not. It would've been embarrassing for her two favourite cultists to see their goddess taking her crazy pills, so maybe she did put them aside and ended up forgetting...

Ultimately, Jeanne found nothing around the school, lending further credence to the idea that it was just her head fucking with her again. Students bustled to and fro, with that special energy reserved only for the most sacred of weekdays, though that didn't stop them from keeping eyes on Jeanne whenever she passed by.

Jeanne had enough time to kill before class to stop at the teacher's lounge and see who was in, or... Arlene seemed like the type to get to class early. Maybe Jeanne could catch her alone before the other students got to class.

Shit. Shit shit shit.

Jeanne spent less time basking in the attention of the student body than she'd like and more time wondering if there was time to run home and...no. No, no, it was fine. She wasn't that stupid, right? You don't just drop habits like that, right? But it was exactly because it was a habit that she couldn't remember specifically, and she knew she hadn't taken them with the girls hanging off of her.

Fuck.

Whatever. It would be fine. She just had to make it through one class, then she could slip out and...yeah. It would be fine. She needed to focus on right now, on today.

Arlene was on her list, right? Jeanne was just making it work by freaking out over it, it'd be better to head to class and...maybe try to chat her up before the day got going.

Just...breathe, and focus. In and out. Focus on getting the cute robot girl in her clutches.

Jeanne stepped into her classroom as though nothing was wrong and glanced around for Arlene, fingers curled around the strap of her bag like the handle of a machete.

As she found her way to the classroom, Jeanne spotted Natalia and company nearby. The cultists among them waved, and after a moment, Mia awkwardly joined in. Isabelle, Gina and Mia started off to go see the teacher, but Natalia held them back. She knew Jeanne wanted to add Arlene to their number, and must have known that the girl was already in class. That would certainly explain why the devoted weren't already there themselves.

Sure enough, there the blonde was, a textbook and binder open on her desk, side-by-side. Arlene was slouched over, peering over her notes with her assets perched on the edge of the desk. They had to have been at least as big as Gina's...

The bespectacled girl didn't even look up until Jeanne's wake fell over her. Even then, she tried her best to stay focused on studying whilst keeping an eye on the teacher. For the moment, they were alone - not all that unusual considering the class had less than a dozen kids. The only other student nearly as diligent was Cho, and she'd been away for the past few days anyways.

Jeanne took a seat in the desk in front of Arlene, turning to look back at her with her arm resting on the back of the chair as she smiled brightly.

"Good morning, Black. Do you mind if we, eh, sit and chat for a minute?" She tried to take on a motherly tone, though on Jeanne it sounded kind of sheepish at best. "I sought maybe you 'ad wanted to talk to me yestairday, but Natalia and ze ozzairs scared you off a little bit, so..."

She didn't have forever to do this, and she knew that, but in a similar sense she wasn't quite pushing to make it a snap conversion - Arlene was shy, but she was smart, and while Jeanne wasn't entirely sure what governed resistance to her wake, it seemed better to take it slow.

She focused her aura on the poor girl for now, deciding she could take a minute to hear what she had to say before pushing her will on her.

"Uh-"

Arlene's eyes snapped up at the teacher, looking downright petrified at the sudden attention and enormously open question. After taking a moment to run through every possible reason why she might want to talk to the teacher.

"No... I'm fine," is what she finally settled on.

Her eyes went back to her notes. Then promptly drifted back up to the teacher. 'I'm fine' was a terrible answer. That's not something you say to a teacher, no matter how terrifying and unprofessional she is.

"I just... thought art club might be interesting."

And back to studying.

"...Don't have time for it anyways."

Aaand back to Jeanne.

"...Just forget about it, please. It's fine."

"Non...? Zat iz a shame, you know. At zis age you should be exploring your intairests." Jeanne hummed thoughtfully. "You would not 'ave to attend every day, you know? It iz, eh...I do not want to make zat kind of strict environment."

She paused a bit awkwardly, then leaned forward to pat Arlene on the shoulder, her amber eyes meeting - or at least trying to meet - the shy, awkward girl's.

"...You say you do not 'ave time, what do you mean? Iz it somesing I can 'elp wis? I can talk to your parents, if zat iz ze issue..."

"No... No, it's fine," Arlene murmured. "I just... have... a lot to do after school."

By now, the blonde wasn't looking at Jeanne or her books, instead just glancing off to the side, at the wall. Her shoulders were tense and bunched up, like some kind of human turtle trying her darnedest to treat into a non-existent shell. A good liar she was not, and her thoughts were written all over her face. It probably had nothing to do with her parents, and it was doubtful she had much to do after school except sit alone and study.

No, this was a kid that most teachers had plenty of experience dealing with. In all likelihood, she was just too shy and just wanted to forget all about the notion. The fact that The Clique had been the first to join was probably no help at all, not to mention Jeanne's frighteningly powerful presence.

"So... Yeah," she piped up, still not looking at anything in particular. "...Sorry. I just can't."

"Zat is a shitty reason to give up on it, chouchou. You were one of ze students I was really 'oping would join, you know?" Her hand traveled from Arlene's shoulder to her cheek, and Jeann gently cupped it, her eyes lidding, which made her either look gentle and pitying or like she was trying to seduce the girl, depending on how generous the viewer was.

She tried to relax, let go of her anxiety from hunting Shark down and focus on filling the entire world of the girl in front of her - the small, dark world that she shut herself away in. While half of Jeanne's interest was ultimately in Arlene's chest, the more she spoke to her, the worse she felt about the girl, and the more it felt like Art Club was the nudge in the right direction she'd need...and not only that, but Natalia would surely be the kind of friend that could help her open up a little bit.

And they were friends now, whether Arlene knew it or not, because they would be united under a common goddess.

It was a good thing Arlene was early, though other students would probably come in and catch Jeanne chatting with her in the time it took to force her way in.

That was fine for the time being, though.

Arlene froze up at Jeanne's touch, with a look in her eye that said she was on the edge of breaking down from all this stress and attention. She kept trying to look at Jeanne, but it just wasn't working because what do you even do in this situation?! Was the teacher trying to hit on her? She'd heard that Miss O liked girls, but... a student? She wouldn't do anything with a student, right?

"It's- No..." Arlene mumbled out. "I'm sorry... I just... I can't..."

She gulped and looked away again, trying desperately to figure out what to do...

In the end, it took most of the time Jeanne had left before class. Arlene was evasive at every turn, but her mind's defences were surprisingly weak for such a stubborn girl. Maybe she was just that afraid of hanging out with other kids? Every now and again, Jeanne could spot one of the three Clique members in the class poking their heads into the room, only to quickly disappear. Somehow, no other students had arrived yet, despite it getting dangerously close to bell time.

Were they... Were the Clique keeping people out or something?

Eventually, Jeanne felt Arlene's stubbornness give way, as thoughts of her new goddess flooded the girl's mind. Her expression shifted imperceptibly, her brow furrowing as new thoughts floated up to the surface.

"I... I don't know..." She murmured. Converted as she was, it seemed like she still needed just a little push over the edge...

"It will be fun. I am going to turn in ze preliminary list of membairs aftair school, and I will write your name on it, okay?" There was no point in asking for permission once Arlene's mental resistance broke - if she said the girl was part of the club, she'd come to meetings and be happy about it. Probably.

Whatever, maybe Natalia and the others would be able to cheer her into it. Maybe setting the Clique on her directly would just overwhelm her, though...

Regardless, Jeanne heard no argument, slipping out of her seat and heading back up to her desk to prep for the class. The end of the day already couldn't come soon enough, but the knowledge that her cult count had gone up again was at least somewhat comforting.

"I... Um..." Arlene floundered, will broken. "I... I guess..."

Nonetheless, as Jeanne walked away, she could briefly catch an elusive little smile cross the blonde's face.

The Clique peered in one last time and, seeing that Jeanne was back at her desk and not with Arlene, filed in, along with the rest of the class. They really had been keeping the other students at bay...

This time around, Isabelle and Kylie took seats in front of the teacher's desk, though they left the one directly in front for Natalia. The princess, on the other hand, headed for Jeanne herself, taking a seat on the teacher's desk beside Jeanne's chair.

"Did everything go okay..?" She asked, keeping her voice low. "She looks..."

Natalia glanced briefly over to Arlene, who was still smiling just the slightest bit as she studied.

"...happy."

Jeanne gave Natalia a broad grin.

"Ouais. You did great, chouchou, good sinking." She glanced over the High Priestess's shoulder to Arlene, ans her smile melted, turned into something a little warmer and sweeter.

"...She looks pretty cute wis a smile, right? Maybe she needed zis." The teacher didn't dwell on it too long, though, before giving Natalia a still-warm but somewhat more serious look. "Of course, zis means you look out for her, too, ouais? Maybe do not, eh, try not to freak her out, zough. She iz still shy. But I am counting on you to keep an eye on her, alright?" La Déesse beamed at her first and most loyal disciple.

"...Maybe I will try and get everyone togezzair ovair ze weekend sometime, too. I am not sure yet." That came in a slightly more hushed tone, though Jeanne wasn't too overly concerned with people getting the wrong idea. It was an Art Club deal.

Natalia looked back at Arlene when Jeanne did and the bespectacled girl a decidedly friendly wave. Arlene looked terribly confused for a moment, but waved back awkwardly.

When Jeanne mentioned getting everyone together on the weekend, an excited smile grew on Natalia's face that she had to fight back into something more dignified.

"Were you still..?" She glanced over at Isabelle and Kylie for a moment, before leaning in further. "I could tell Isabelle to stay after class, if you want."

The other two girls looked interested in the conversation, but held enough reverence for both Jeanne and Natalia not to try and eavesdrop. At least, not overtly.

Natalia's brow creased in thought before she added, "...Did you want to meet with Nishimura and Arlene on the weekend, too? Like, everyone everyone?"
