But now, I'm far too busy irl to focus on GM-ing.

I'm still on the fence about helping out around here a bit. My main concern is that record-keeping is my least favorite part of GMing; in all the games I GM I've mostly delegated the task of keeping track of experience totals and such to my players. The more I can delegate so that I can focus on the story, the better I tend to feel.

I mean, if you want me to like. Update souls, progress of spheres, name and place keeping of the realms. All the record keeping stuffs, I wouldn't mind.

Especially if it would make it smoother for your updates to just come out.

Sunday/Monday I will spend writing something else unrelated to Theo, but which I will nonetheless post here for y'all to give me feedback on, since you guys are obviously the foremost fans of my writing :)

I think this will allow me to deliver higher-quality updates consistently, and is something I can sustain long-term.

Tomorrow will be the last 'batch' update.

Also, I will be making this game Adult-locked and moving all threads to Group 1. I just need everyone to send me a PM in a new thread that states your birthdate and that you are 18+ and of age to view adult materials in your place of residence.

Yes. You now have to specifically message a member of staff to have adult access unlocked for your account but afterwards every time you try to join an adult game you're automatically asked and verified as pertains to your age.

Hey guys. I’m putting the game on indefinite hiatus. I started it up when I was unemployed and in a new city with little to do. Now I have friends and partners and work full time, and even aside from time, I just don’t have the spiritual energy to continue with the game.

Yes Empress...I'm sorry to see it go but at the same time if the momentum and energy aren't there, it's a bad idea to force it. I appreciate you communicating this with us and letting us know.

So, life has significantly improved. I'm no longer spending 2.5+ hours a day just hanging out in traffic, and to boot I'm also off the medication (for good!) that was making me foggy, forgetful, and fatigued. I'm now walking 20k steps a day and generally in better spirits and health.

Would anyone be interested in resuming play for 2-3 months?

Sure, perhaps at a slower pace?

I would love to slip back into Anathema's shoes. I was the one who originally petitioned for a sequel game, after all. I would be reluctant to do so, however, without a vague promise that at its conclusion the story would be left at a satisfactory state. It would be difficult for me to engage knowing that my engagement would end at a fixed point rather than when the story is done.

That's true...I don't think I want like a couple months then BAM it dies. That's a tease.
