Just FYI, to reduce book keeping I'm going to consolidate the party treasury onto Thomas's sheet and track XP there exlusively.

Whatever floats your preverbal boat Skippy! For sake of simplicity I always figured that the basic inventory is shared. Important items would be character specific but that would be obvious when you have one (like the comb).

Also, 300 XP total to split amongst the party...evenly! No giving Tommy 300XP all to himself for taking a bath ha

In the future, would it be possible to use the grid for fights? Looking at the map, if we used the grid that last fight would have been a 1 on 1 fight at the door (1 RB opens the door and has to fight Viktor in front of him) which is MUCH more favorable to me. These guys have really high damage output so I need to be able to bottle neck them whenever possible or use positioning to keep them away from my squishy characters like Moira and Gunther. Maybe not for every fight (particularly in open areas) but in cramped dungeons it would be great.

Please? Pretty Please?

Sure thing! that makes sense for these room to room combats. For any open area fights remind me/yourself to do the ACSII thing? No idea what you called it or why but yes, we will go more tactical with fights.

I was looking on here for maybe a good horror game I could join.....they all seem so annoying. I have to admit that our little group growing up is not typical for gamers.

Just be careful. If you spread yourself too thin, this site can become a real chore. I've made that mistake in the past. I'm sticking to just our two games and my Warhammer game.

I still browse the player wanted ads though from time to time and have been tempted to join some Call of Cthulhu games. I stumbled across another game running this same adventure. I clicked on their game and it's all of the things I hate about D&D. Their party is a half-man/half-bird monk, a half-man/half-dragon fighter, and a half man-half demon gunslinger. Yeesh! Everybody wants to be their own crazy unique little snowflake. Weird is not a replacement for interesting!

I was wrong on the xp...see this is why doing this off your phone sucks.

25xp to the main four and an extra 25 to Thomas.

I rolled a 6 for Viktor and a 14 for Moira to try. I just can't copy rolls over from my phone. Sorry.

DM:
Two more cloaks, though a bit bloody can be used. Viktors finds nothing in the pile of clothes but can count appropriately 12 sets. Either there are more captives or.......

You have the three free, you could attempt to arm them? I bet a horrified widow and two traumatized teens would be perfect soldiers.

I prefer to think of them as temporary hit points with the odd side effect of screaming when you lose them.

Actually, 3 people to stand around and perform the 'help' action in combat every round wouldn't be half bad...

No, no. Mission accomplished. We're going to get the hell out of Dodge.

There used to be a regional map under the Game Map tab, wasn't there? It's telling me that no game map exists now.

I texted this to you but as a placeholder/reminder.

Preferred type of campaign (traveling, city, dungeon, espionage, political, etc.) ?

Family history and details on the Greymont land and holdings. We should figure out where in Faerun it is as well.

Casting from a scroll: if the spell appears on your class's spell list, and is of a level that you could normaly cast. You cast the spell successfully. Otherwise you must make an Int-check (Arcana) to se if you can cast it. DC is 10 plus the spells level. If you fail, the scrolls crumples to dust essentially.

Health potions: 2d4+2 hp back

Invisibility potion: When you drink this potion, you-along with the clothing, armor, weapons, and other equipment on your person- become invisible for 1 hour. The invisibility ends if you attack or cast a spell.

I figured I'd just have Gunther attack and most likely miss since you were concerned with the power of the help action. Of course, he goes and hits for double digit damage instead.

In reply to Lady Moira (msg # 57):

No worries. That went horrible for me. In the end I did 2 damage. If I canít roll well I need to start aiming at the easy meat.

This is a pretty neat concept. Home brew for 5e is not too bad. People did a lot to expand the game. Speaking of, if you see any cool home brew paths just send me a link or something. Iím open to it.
