Folks, I will be out of town this weekend for my annual comic book geek out in Charlotte. Back online Monday.

Family Reunion on Long Island from the 2nd to 11th of August. I will have my computer, and will check in periodically, but it's the first full fledged reunion since my Dad passed in 2016, so my focus will be elsewhere.

I'll try to keep things moving along during the trip, say a couple of posts during the vacation, then we'll ramp up toward the conclusion of this first phase of the adventure when I get back.

I'll tell you what, if I make it into the city, I will try to stop by - PM your number. No promises - I've got a huge family and I'll be expected to take my turn rehashing my life story to every cousin, 2nd cousin, nieces and nephews and old family friends. That's part of the charm of family reunions, I think!

Sorry I didn't post in advance. I was on vacation in Maine and brought my laptop, thinking I could post, but lo and behold, no wifi at my wife's aunt's house.

One of the good things about this game is that I'm not one to worry about posting rates. If there's something interesting going on, I figure you'll be around.

Will be road tripping through parts of Canada Aug 2nd to 13th.  Unclear as to internet access during that time.

I’ll be at a professional conference Sat-Tue and I’m presenting. I’ll have internet access but I may have attention drawn away by receptions, workshops and preparations.

Gone tomorrow and for the following 8 days after. Should have internet access, so I expect to be able to post at a modest rate.

I will be offline and unplugged from 12/13 to 12/17.
Family vacation in New York City! Should be fun.

As crazy as I probably am to be doing this right now, I'm actually getting on a plane and going to an island in Puget Sound for 10 days tomorrow. I'm told there's wifi but I don't expect it to be very reliable. I'll try to post if I can but feel free to NPC Gildan.
