What is a reasonable character DP?
Because the system is so open ended, it is possible that some people may not know what is an appropriate total character dice pool. They don't want to make a character to strong, but at the same time don't want to make someone who is to weak either. They want a good balance.

A reasonable character would likely have 2 skillsets, and maybe some special abilities to reflect personal attributes such as strength or beauty.

Now, with 6 dice you have a 66.61% chance of rolling a 6. Add any situational modifiers and that chance increases. Therefore, a good amount of dice to put into your characters main skill Set would be about 4, plus the starting 2d6, allows for a base 6d6 DP, plus or minus any situational modifiers. This would allow characters to be successful more than half the time. Of course, a player could add even more dice, but that's likely a pretty good starting character DP.

So if a character has 2 skillsets, each at 4, that's 8. Plus the 2 from the starting DP, that's 10. Then we can throw another 4 in from personal attributes and its 14. So let's make it 15 total character DP for a nice final number.

Equipment wise points aren't to important, other than being reasonable as to what your character could use and carry.
