Re: Troll post
I think as long as we are aware some actions take longer than others. If we are taking a longer action we take that into account when we post and when we expect that action to be addressed by the GM as having occurred.

IE if my character walks out to his car to get something, that will take enough time that other characters might have a few posts in the time being.

Re: Troll post
Simon, the gangers are in apartment 103. It's on the ground floor. On the left of the corridor (it's shaped as a T, look on roll20, I'll put token this evening)

I'm waiting until Saturday afternoon max for combat action. From there, unless you say you'll be away, I'll act at least every other day and you'll have to skip your turn.

Re: Troll post
Ok. Can Simon reach the door of 103 with a restricted move? Can draw one sword as staward action, the other can come out with Quickdraw. Will allow Simon a chance to defend himself and return the favor.

Re: Troll post
You'll be just behind Leon, or next to him depending on his action. He can't really see you after all.

Re: Troll post
Understood so if Leon dodged to his left their is space for me to the right and he will be in between the gang and Simon.

sorry everyone, painful day. We had a release fail abysmally on Thursday night and spent most of today just cleaning it up. I'll post again tomorrow after a good night sleep :-)

Re: Troll post
I'll manage intimidation by adding dread to your adversaries.
It's like a bare fist attack, using your personality to get the bonus. For Leon, it's +1 DS

Re: Troll post
Just as a note, Dark Side points are used by the GM to make bad things happen. So I don't know if it a great idea to call on them all that often.

Am I correct in that understanding of the rules?

Re: Troll post
There are Dark Symmetry Points that get into the Dark Symmetry Pool
Those are... badish. I'll use them to make your life interesting.

There are Dark Symmetry Dices, abbreviated DS or the strange dark bold squiggly T in the official book. Those are damage Dices, mainly.

Re: Troll post
Actually +2 DS because I have 'Charismatic' giving me an extra Influence Die.

And yeah, the GM uses Dark Symmetry points to do bad stuff to us, so we need to spend them in moderation. But this could potentially lead to more witnessess to question without bloodshed so I wanted to try that first without murdering them. I'm supposed to pretend play someone who pretend plays he is a cop after all. :) Not a special forces officer. ^_^

Just pointing it out. We will all use them. Just want to make sure we all know there is a cost.

Speaking of which....

I have a question

Are chronicle points easy to replenish? or should we hold on to them until the bitter end?

Re: Troll post
I think Chronicle Points refresh at the start of each adventure or something like that. And you regain them by doing cool things and stuff.

Re: Troll post
Did it !
I don't believe it : first combat round and the only ganger down is from friendly fire.
Leon's action raised lowered their repercussion threshold to 18-20...
It's your turn to play again !
Kaori, You can have draw your weapons as you arrived.
Simon, you have both weapons in hand no problem. Next time count drawing both as a single action.

Re: Troll post
By the way, Leon, one chronicle point for a great idea. I won't give one for further use of the same effect, unless it's incredibly well timed.

Re: Troll post
Might be helpful for the GM if we post our actions used with each turn.

For example

Restricted action: Movement
Standard action: Draw weapon

That way we save the Gm the time of seeing what we are able to complete in our turn. It also makes it easier to know if you will be able to complete all the actions in our posts ahead of time.

Re: Troll post
You could have ended just behind Leon and Simon and the end of the previous turn. You were a bit short in the description of your action.

This time, it'll do. You can be just behind Leon and Simon with one weapon drawn. Your choice, gun or blade.
If you follow Leon, there are still quite a few gangers inside.

I'll try to do a short post to describe the result of each action. Not sure if I'll be able to do it for each.
