I do not need to (nor want to) see sprawling character descriptions, personalities, or backgrounds. A few sentences will be fine. Paint in broad strokes. Be brief and descriptive.

Sources Allowed - Characters will be created using the Basic D&D rules (i.e., Moldvay, Mentzer or Rules Cyclopedia). If you don't have access to any of these, you may use the Labyrinth Lord rules available for free download at: http://goblinoidgames.com/wp-c...3/GBD1001_no_art.zip. All of these games are fairly similar in design.

Important: Please do not send completed character sheets with your RTJ Application. I won't read applications that include a character sheet in the RTJ and I don't want to waste your time.

Character Selection -  Characters will be selected  based on a combination of the following factors: interesting personality/background write-ups, fulfilling iconic party roles and gut-feeling on overall party dynamics.
