I just noticed I never congratulated the party on overcoming long odds to defeat Wyrmlord Kul AND escape the Imploding Fane alive. Congrats, all of you!

Sarah touched on this in her OOC comments in the in-game thread, but we're indeed in wrapping up loose ends mode. Part of that includes clearing out the treasure from the cave and then the trek back to Drellin's Ferry, where this journey began, 11 months ago in real time and only about a week ago in game time. One week. But, what a week!

Since we're now in wrap-up mode, Ovo, Sarah, Vaxfar, and Grub will earn enough XP to gain a level. All party members have earned a considerable share of treasure and will have one hell of a story to tell for their efforts. Of course they have to make it back to Drellin's Ferry, but we can assume they will do so.

Really happy to have been able to run this adventure to completion, after all these years, and to have been able to bring back three of the original players for the conclusion of this adventure. Eoni, Sarah, and Vaxfar were original cast members. Dergan (RIP), Elam, and Ovo were new cast members.

One original player (Vaxfar) had to drop out along the way due to lack of free time and we picked up a few new players over the past year to take on the roles of orphaned characters. Thanks also to our new players for joining in to play orphaned characters. I know it's not an ideal situation and most players want to play their own characters.

At any rate, I appreciate of all of you for sticking with this game and seeing this thing through. Thanks for being great players. You made this adventure and game a lot of fun for me to run.

I think Grub leveled up twice during this adventure.

What about experience for Murphy?

Grub started the adventure as 2nd level. He is now 4th. He will have earned enough XP for 6th level, due to the low amounts needed for Thieves rogues to level.

Good point about Murphy. She likely earned a few levels as well :)

Is the dragonhide armour usabl?

Just noticed, Sarah has earned enough XP for name level (9th), which allows her to establish a thieves den!

The thought of 2d6 thief apprentices coming to work for/with Sarah is kind of funny and cool. No often you see 1st level character raise to name level in any campaign, let alone PbP. Well done Sarah!

Well folks, I think we've wrapped up all loose ends and run this adventure and campaign to completion. I've just posted to the game thread to close things out. I will add a new epilogue thread if any of you want to contribute to it, please do!

I would like to apologies for returning to the game, this time as Ovo. Only to completely vanish within the same week without a word. I run the IT group for a very large international company, and for legal reasons I cannot give all the details around my absence. But, I can say this and let you read between the lines...

All of the stories that you are seeing in the news about the rise in ransomware and other cyberattacks are true and then some. And when they hit a company, it is a massive effort and time intensive response that is needed immediately by IT. Cleanup and investigation take months and leave little time for them to be with family, yet alone escape from reality in some fun RPG stories.

Anyway, I really am extremely sorry I was not able to help finish out this story. I just read the ending and I truly missed out on a epic adventure. Well done everyone!

Lastly, I want to give a big thank you to Shane for the extra time and effort you had to put in because on my absence.

Actually, this has been a major launching point for my career. I've been given the opportunity to expand my leadership role over another 18 countries, with more to come fall! Guess they liked my team's outcomes in the time of crisis. :)

It's enough for me to somewhat (10%?) seriously reconsider whether there's wisdom in hiding money under my mattress.
