Re: OOC

Hey, it worked out better this way. This time anyway.

Anyway, this situation is not exactly ideal. We can give it a round or two to see how it goes, but unless we gain the upper hand (and the big bad is yet to make an appearance), I'd recommend we simply retreat outside. Then remove all the boards from the windows to let the sun in (something we should have remembered to do by now), buff the hell up and return with vengeance.

Not sure it would be possible to open a window or two in the middle of a fight. h6 is the entrance to the house, right? So I'm guessing there's light there, enough to keep these things away?

Re: OOC

Any spell that requires an attack roll can crit, and the text for healing hex says " This acts as a cure light wounds spell". You can definitely crit with it.

Re: OOC

Sorry for no GM post today, things got a little busy around here. We should be back on schedule tomorrow, and I'll post this weekend as well.

Re: OOC

So, with them saving and all for half, can we just double the damage they took (to a full 14) and call it square?

19:09, Today: Shade of Lonwood rolled 17 using 1d20+3.  Touch attack confirm.

Re: OOC

ahh, sorry all! this has been a crazy week with power outages and nuts work.

I was all set up to post last night... and then my daughter woke me up at 2 am on the couch asking if she could get some water.

Let me get caught up in the IC thread

Re: OOC

Hmm... could I AoO with a vial of holy water?  Otherwise I'll just have to wave as the Broken Child goes by.

I would think a ranged touch splash attack would be possible with holy water

Re: OOC

You can if you're holding it when the AoO was triggered, if you have to retrieve it you can't use it to make an AoO.

Re: OOC

Sorry guys, I've tried to make time to post but we're moving our office space at work and things are pretty hectic here.

I'm putting the game on hiatus for one week, until next Monday. We should be able to resume normal play then.

Re: OOC

Thanks for your patience everyone! I'm excited to get back into the swing of things. Oh, and I forgot that Monday was a holiday, sorry about that. Spent it helping grandma and having a big picnic with the family, it was really great.

We're all slated to get back to the action, I hope everyone had a great long weekend.

Re: OOC

I couldn't find a note about the # of kids so I added it up from the sisters' story. Did I miss one? I only counted 5 including Ella.

Re: OOC

Should be six. Sarah Corrow, Tomas and Holger Ramonanov, Vania Stonebrow, Mikkel Kahnvald, Ellsa Torean. So we have two more plus the big bad. When buffed up Cain has a good chance of going toe to toe with it, problem is I'm not sure the wraith is going to be so accommodating as to focus on him alone.

Mikkel Kahnvald I don't think was in the Sister's recounting, or I missed it!

Re: OOC

That note is a curious find. Wonder what Adrin will find on it. Anyway, if we really have not destroyed the girl's wraith, we still need to hunt it down for our plan to work. Any ideas of where to try next? Another house? The hill?

Re: OOC

Another thing to consider, if we haven't already, can someone at the temple tell how Ellsa died?  The Beast, considering all things, would have broken bones, etc. if he had been responsible.  Would they have a way to tell if she was killed by a wraith's attack?

That's a good idea.

As to where to find her wraith if we haven't already... no idea. Maybe the hill, but she won't come out in sunlight if so
