The only golem specific magic item I can think of is the golem bane scarab
Which for 2,500 lets you detect up to 60 and bypass DR
I might have to save up again and see if it can help the research

Big reason why I asked if Soloman knows anyone else besides us :) Like someone has someone he cares about.

I think its more like Frankenstine. Something gets him mad, goes ballistic, doesn't know what happened.

Either that or someone's got a hell of a modify memory spell...

I think his rages are one issue, though possibly not a problem

The other is someone seems to for sure take him over...
