Swinging for Tetra Min's bowl helmet is doable, but keep in mind he is in an elevated position on top of his flying shark.  That is a tough reach for a PC on foot.  There will be negative to-hit modifiers on a head shot.

With a gasp, Dreya surges through the water a little closer to the shark riding king...guy. Then, focusing all her attention on his helmet and the water sloshing inside, she wills the water to be pure, clean, and crystal clear.

"Worm?" Stachys says incredulously.  "Come and take it, coward." he taunts, and uses the trident like a spear, thrusting at the closest shark.  He works to keeps his distance from Tetra Min.

Melee, not thrown, doesn't want to risk losing it.

Seline:
If able Seline would aim her next attack at Tetra min's helmet, if she isn't able to attack Tetra min she would attack the nearest non portal worker

Seline isn't close to any non-portal worker targets.  Please review the Game Map.

Seeing no one in range Seline would go around the back of the portal to find portal worker 1 and try to enlist their assistance in closing the portal

"Egads!" Elwood exclaims as he is swept down the hallway.  The images of the shark bellies above him as he shoots by is surreal.   The whole experience would be thrilling of not for the dire circumstances of the situation.  A thought pops into his head.  "I wonder if I could construct something like this for the upcoming carnival that's held during the Feast of Saint Buster?  The children would love this!"  Finally, he is able to gain some footing and stands up.  He makes his way back to his friends as fast as possible, using the flow of the water as a guide.

Cole slashes at Tetra Min and finally connects for 6 points of damage.

Dreya steps up toward Tetra Min and casts purify food and drink on the water in the fish man's helmet.  The bowl flashes with a golden glow for a moment, then returns to normal.  The fish man's face immediately becomes concerned.

Stachys stabs at Shark #2 with the trident.  Unfamiliar with such a weapon, his thrust is ineffectual in terms of injuring the flying beast, but it does have the effect of snapping the shark out of its tranquil state.  The shark's giant mouth of teeth bites onto Stachys's shoulder for 5 points of damage.

Seline runs around the back of the portal and tries to help Portal Worker #1 to shut down the portal.  The fish man says, "This is beyond me, man.  Maybe if you hit it again, you could break it so it shuts down.  Or maybe that would just make it worse.  You'd need an expert portal technician to have a real chance fixing this mess.  It'll take a while, but this world is going to drown."

Elwood is carried a considerable distance down the corridor before he is able to stand up.  The water is shallower here (maybe 2 inches deep), but rising visibly and ocean water continues to gush out of the portal.  Elwood can't see the party through the mist, but a faint glow in the distance and the sounds of battle reach him despite the fog.  As he starts marching back to the action, a floating portal worker is swept past him into the darkness to the west.

Meanwhile, Tetra Min's gills cough out bubbles as he chokes on the fresh water in his helmet.  He swings his flail wildly at Cole but his fortunes appear to have changed and he misses narrowly.

Cole and Valindore continue to stay on their feet despite the roaring current in the water around their calves.

Stachys and Dreya slip and are pushed down the corridor by the rushing water.

Round 11 Situation Report:

Dreya has taken 1 point of damage.
Cole has taken 4 points of damage.
Valindore has taken 13 points of damage.
Stachys has taken 5 points of damage.
Tetra Min has taken 6 points of damage.
Anthony is invisible.
This is round 3 of 24 for calm animals.
Shark 2 is no longer docile.
This is round 1 of fresh water in Tetra Min's helmet.
Elwood has regained his footing.
Stachys and Dreya are being carried down the corridor by the current after slipping.

Anthony pokes his head out of the secret door again to see if he can get a view of the portal, to try to figure out how to stop it--or destroy it.

Anthony cannot see the portal from the secret door.  Between the heavy mist and numerous combatants, his view is completely blocked.  Would you like to do something else this round?

Elwood makes his wadi back to the group.   He keeps his eyes peeled for anyone in the group who may also be 'enjoying' the slip 'n slide ride.

Tetra Min screams in frustration as he takes a completely ineffectual swipe at Cole with his flail.  The fish man is clearly not enjoying the fresh water in his helmet, but he is gamely fighting on with vigor.

Shark #2 chomps onto Valindore for 3 points of damage and disrupts the cleric's spell casting.  Valindore collapses from his injuries.  His body begins to float down the corridor as his blood reddens the water around him.  Anthony can grab the body as it floats by if he wishes.

Dreya and Stachys drift down the corridor until they run into Elwood who catches them and helps them back to their feet.

Seline asks the portal worker about the energy behind the portal.  The portal worker replies, "It's some kind of magic. I don't really know the details.  I just know how to run it when it isn't broken."

Cole slashes at Tetra Min viciously and connects for 9 points of damage.  He continues to stand firm despite the rushing current pounding into his calves.

Round 12 Situation Report:

Dreya has taken 1 point of damage.
Cole has taken 4 points of damage.
Valindore has taken 16 points of damage.  He is at -2 hit points.
Stachys has taken 5 points of damage.
Tetra Min has taken 15 points of damage.

Anthony, watching frim his hiding spot, grabs Valindore's body and yanks it into the secret door, closing it behind him. He attends to the fellow to see if anything can be done to save him, his face a grim mask.
