Cole slashes at
Tetra Min and finally connects for

Dreya steps up toward
Tetra Min and casts
purify food and drink on the water in the fish man's helmet. The bowl flashes with a golden glow for a moment, then returns to normal. The fish man's face immediately becomes concerned.
Stachys stabs at
Shark #2 with the trident. Unfamiliar with such a weapon, his thrust is ineffectual in terms of injuring the flying beast, but it does have the effect of snapping the shark out of its tranquil state. The shark's giant mouth of teeth bites onto
Stachys's shoulder for
5 points of damage.
Seline runs around the back of the portal and tries to help
Portal Worker #1 to shut down the portal. The fish man says,
"This is beyond me, man. Maybe if you hit it again, you could break it so it shuts down. Or maybe that would just make it worse. You'd need an expert portal technician to have a real chance fixing this mess. It'll take a while, but this world is going to drown."
Elwood is carried a considerable distance down the corridor before he is able to stand up. The water is shallower here (maybe 2 inches deep), but rising visibly and ocean water continues to gush out of the portal.
Elwood can't see the party through the mist, but a faint glow in the distance and the sounds of battle reach him despite the fog. As he starts marching back to the action, a floating portal worker is swept past him into the darkness to the west.
Meanwhile,
Tetra Min's gills cough out bubbles as he chokes on the fresh water in his helmet. He swings his flail wildly at
Cole but his fortunes appear to have changed and he misses narrowly.
Cole and
Valindore continue to stay on their feet despite the roaring current in the water around their calves.
Stachys and
Dreya slip and are pushed down the corridor by the rushing water.
