OOC: Out Of Character
This thread is commonly used to have (as it says) out-of-character discussions.  Definitely makes it easier to differentiate (oh that crack I just made about Boba Fett's fat head was meant to be 'out-of-character'!) and keep players or their characters (at least) out of unnecessary trouble.

Welcome to the game.  Let's hope we can keep this going (I've been on some games for years and years now).

OOC: Out Of Character
So, just some posting guidelines, but nothing draconian and as long as we have a good time who cares.  However, to make things a little easier to read and separate In-Character (IC) versus Out-of-Character (OOC) I like to use the RPOL code.

Just a suggestion, but I like using colors for speech, makes it pop and gives it a characteristic, choose your own color if you would like.

Example:
Arabe' said with a big smile, "Humpty dumpty sat on a wall..."

For Out-Of-Character comments, questions, chatter, and especially rolls that should be embedded in a post usually at the bottom (combat in particular) use the tags <small> and <orange>.

Example:
OOC: Can I shoot around the corner?  Haha, your feet smell...through the internet...

07:53, Today: GM, on behalf of Arabe', rolled 4 using 1d20.  Blast Stormtrooper 1.
Ah, a miss!

Obviously the rolls are copied straight from the dice roller page.  Eazy peazy...right?

You can copy and paste the code below to help you:

<small><orange>OOC: Text Here</orange></small>

Thanks!

Hey Keith, Russ has joined!  Or maybe you already know?

We can do some tweaks to our prelude adventure and he could have a miraculous recovery.

BTW, I may have messed up the description, but you're supposed to be on Enarc and headed to Eriadu...I know, confusing as the names are close...

Some SW Trivia, Eriadu is the homeworld of Grand Moff Tarkin, commander of the Death Star...

In reply to Aria (msg # 12):

quote:
Without waiting for a reply she turns and heads into the belly of the Reaper to apparently stow her gear.

OOC: ...Or to sabotage the engine room...

Muahahahahahahaha!!

Wait so maybe I missed how she got sent to the Reaper, from the ship owners via Spacer Temps or something?  Or just a bulletin board type of thing?

Ha, Spacer Temps...she is a new hire with the company.  You work for Tagge Company (TaggeCo) subsidiary AgroTrans.  She probably came from corporate (TaggeCo).  No Craag's List...

In reply to Morden (msg # 9):

Welcome Russ!  Well, as I mentioned we're doing an adventure prelude called Milk Run for Hep/Keith. You were initially written out as being sick, but you could make a miraculous recovery. Your stand in, an NPC can still come along for the ride...I'll add you to the thread and you can catch up.

Don't forget to select a character portrait. That's always fun and I believe they have some Iktochi.

I went ahead and found you a portrait.  Hope that's ok Russ.

Do you prefer to have the full name displayed, or just the first name?  Noticed the spelling changed, or I was spelling it wrong this whole time...
