06:52, Today: Hep Kresim rolled 17 using 1d20.  Hep makes a mechanics check. 17 + 10 Mechanics skill mod = 27.
While Hep waits for the company rep and the medics he uses the time to do a spot check of the ships exterior.

OOC: Wouldnt the ship have a sealed decontamination function for the cargo hold?  Seems like a major design flaw. Like fire suppression system where the Oxygen is cut off to the room, but nothing can get out.

OOC: Man that perception skill needs some work.  Not good for a 2nd level scoundrel.  I always find perception checks ominous.

As Hep circles the ship he can hear a faint buzzing of wings.  Now it could be anything, but considering what had just happened on the ship, one couldn't help but conclude it was related...

OOC:  Perhaps...if the system filtration was maintained and didn't have holes...plus, what fun would that be??

Aria is standing quietly monitoring the Customs Official's condition, which seems stable as he lies snoring loudly on the one bed in sick bay.  Aria looks up with pupil-less eyes as Hep and Mordun pass by the opening between sick bay and the exterior ramp.

Hep ponders what it would be like if he were to lose his cargo carrier license and be fired for contaminating a spaceport. He would have to turn to a life of crime, or be stuck in the outer rim repairing machines, droids and engines all day. A long day just keeps getting longer. He is distracted from feeling sorry for himself by a faint buzzing sound.

Hep taps his comm link quickly "Mordun I think some flies got out the ship! Do you still have the spray can?  Get it and come out quick! If there are any flies out here we have to kill them before anyone gets here!"  "Crap now we've contaminated the space port!" Hep thinks to himself. He moves quickly to the exterior cargo hold atmo filter vents, located at the rear port of the ship, listening for the source of the sound.
  He wasn't really sure how the flies could have escaped the filters, he felt confident in the maintenance that had been done, had they missed a scheduled repair?  Or had something more sinister happened?....

OOC: So I'm guessing I failed the mechanics check earlier.  I though 27 would be a safe roll, maybe it was sabotage...I knew Aria was bad news.

Hep moves to the back of the ship and listens for more of the buzzing sound, it seems to stop randomly every few seconds and then starts up again in no particular pattern.

Mordun runs off and grabs the can of Pest Away, and runs down the ramp to outside the ship.

OOC:  You passed your maintenance check, but can't possibly get to everything...

Perception checks to locate the sound please.

By the time Mordun comes outside Hep isn't immediately visible.  Holding the can of Pest Away, Mordun thinks the sound of the buzzing wings is coming from the far side of the ship.

Hep following the sound of the buzzing believes the buzzing is coming from the back of the ship.

OOC:  You both know where each other is at or headed OOC, but IC you haven't communicated yet.

OOC: Is there a way we can access the top of the ship using integrated ladders or hatches or do we need to find something to use?

If there is an integrated way to access the top of the ship, Mordun heads for that. If not, Mordun looks around the bay for a lift or ladder.

There are pull down handles/steps that you can use in a pinch without a proper ladder or platform.  You would have to pull yourself up.

Mordun grabs a hold of the two rung maintenance access ladder on the backside of the ship, but he only manages to use his fingers and slips off falling to the ground, luckily he manages not to break anything, but it wasn't a far fall afterall.  Perhaps the only thing damaged is his pride.

Hep grabs a hold of a ladder on the other side, and after some struggling he manages to get start pulling himself up.

Just at that moment the swish of the bay's pedestrian blast door is heard, and the sound of several heavy foot falls, some pounding in unison fills the bay.

Hep turns his head hearing a lot more foot traffic than he was expecting.  'That doesn't doesn't sound a couple of medics and a company agent...' Hep Thinks to himself.  "Ah...Mordun that sounds like a lot people..." Hep says nervously looking over his shoulder at the landing bay door.

OOC I knew it! There's troopers after Aria! Maybe there's a reward...
Also Mordun didnt make it up the ladder yet which means I am still on the ground, correct?

As Hep dangles from the ladder, Mordun can see under the ship across the bay comes a fire team of 4 Stormtroopers, and an Imperial officer of some type in his grey uniform.  He calls out, "In the name of the Empire, don't move!" in the usual Galactic core accent.

OOC:  Accent=British accent...

Just because troopers are here doesn't mean they're here for Aria...I love the paranoia though...Paranoia, another really fun RPG...

What you do next will determine if we need to roll for initiative or not...
