Django fishes out his PDA. "So I crawled through a sewer, lost my job, got shot, and got kidnapped all t' be upstaged by the droid...Vyctor you got anything to drink 'round here?".

Vyctor smiles and gets a stack of glasses.  He pulls out a bottle from a compartment that freezes the surrounding vapor when opened.  The cork is pulled with a satisfying pop and the drinks are poured.  He hands one to Django.  Inarra and Irin decline.  The aroma is intense, a kind of ale it seems.  Vyctor closes the storage, but leaves the bottle out.  "Wait, you said you succeeded in your mission before you were captured.  Do you still have your datapad?  They may not have wiped it.  I imagine R10's...er, Aice's starcharts might be a bit out of date.  We can match what you have against his own and see if they were tampered with.  I'd feel a lot more comfortable comparing the two."

He fills up he second glass and offers it to Tump.  "Drink?"

Tump nods. "Don't mind if I do. Like Django, our little expedition turned out pretty successful. We found a whole mess of generators, a surly sentry droid, the droid factory, and Aice. Sure, we've got more to collect, but that ain't bad for a couple days work."

Aice takes the datapad and again the various wires and manipulators emerge to connect to it.  The droid processes the data in rapid fashion and only half a minute passes before he whistles appreciatively in Droidspeak.  When he speaks, it is his usual Captain Solo voice.  "These star charts are an older copy of what Vexember gave you in the device.  They knew you were coming and planted a false chart for the same purpose of this device."

"How in the world would he have known we were coming far enough in advance to plant that? Luckily he wasn't counting on us having Aice and his knack for crunching this data." He shakes his head in frustration. "Speaking of which, if your charts are a thousand years out of date, what's the likelihood that we're still out of luck? If the alignment of stars has changed enough, it seems like we could run the same risk as using the tainted ones from Vex. Where could we find current ones?"

Aice looks at Tump.  "Please.  It is nothing to calculate the trajectories of stars and update my map.  Actually, the joke is on Vexember.  Because of what Django brought me and what Vexember gave him, and the differences between them, I have calculated the algorithm used to alter the star charts from their original, uncorrupted version.  It matches the calculations I have made with only a couple of discrepancies that will likely be irrelevant to our journey."  His dome swivels toward Blint.  "Django's mission was not in vain.  He brought valuable information that allowed me to confirm accurate charts."

Vyctor pulls up the schematic of the ship again and starts to highlight different things as he speaks.  Those in red that he touches turn to yellow to indicate obtained but not installed.  Green means installed or already functioning because of his past work when he was the only one.  There aren't all that many of those.

"We have all the power-related items we need.  Ronan is installing those now, which is why he is not here.  Django, Tump, he may need you to help him with the maneuvering.  You might use that as an opportunity to learn some things.  That leaves us with computers, weaponry, and the escape pods.  Inarra and I can get the computers up and running over the next couple of days.  Weaponry and the pods we can technically do without, but I'd rather not.  There are other ships down here that we could likely cobble some makeshift weaponry together from.  The escape pods...those will take some doing if they weren't made for this YT series of ship."

Tump nods. "Totally agree. We don't want to get caught with our pants down in case we run into some rough territory. You know that stationary sentry we picked up at the generator warehouse? You think that could be somehow retrofitted into the ship? Aside from just regular turrets or guns, a droid based watchdog would be pretty useful."

Django looks over at Tump. "Sorry fer cuttin' you off".

Vyctor grins.  "He may be loud and obnoxious, but Ronan is one of the best engineers on Corellia.  He is a boon.  As for the droid - GDI-7X? - I think having an independent gunner on the ship would be novel and valuable.  Droids of his time were top of the line AIS and the next best thing to living minds."

"He is already here.  Ronan has him still on the transport until we decide what to do with him.  He is a fantastic find.  Though he doesn't have the computing power that Aice has, his dedicated weapons systems are going to be superior to typical light freighter suites.  We can put him on the top turret location.  The quad lasers that used to be up there were removed or destroyed before the Star Gods rose."

"I have that list.  Some we have already and I need to stay here to get started on installation and update.  I have highlighted the parts we still need.  Vyctor has a few likely locations on the map for computer parts.  I suggest taking Aice with you to help."  She updates Tump's datapad with the necessary information.  "Shouldn't take more than a day.  Use Ronan's transport to get around down here."
