Django pats the blaster on his hip. "You ain't lyin. I wonder if the Star Demons are dumb enough to use those too".

At Django's words, a small breeze whispers through the hollow structure, stirring up dust that hasn't been disturbed in hundreds of years.

Something strange on the wind catches Tump's attention.

08:12, Today: Tump rolled 31 using 1d20+11.  perception check.

"We've searched this whole structure and captured the symbols.  Perhaps we have enough now to translate using the droids.  There is nothing else here.  We should return to the ships."

No one responds.

"Captain?"

Django snaps out of his haze. "We... we need to get topside. Maybe over planet side. I dunno yet, but trust me".

Vyctor nods then looks at Tump and Irin who seem unresponsive, staring straight ahead without focus.  "They didn't hear us."

Tump finally blinks a few times before shaking on the stupor he was in. He wakes to find just about everyone staring at him. "How long was I out?"

Irin collapses to the ground, eyes closed.

Django quickly takes a knee to check Irin over. "She's breathin'. We need to get outta here. Now" he says, as he hoists her up in to a combat carry.

The four easily make it back outside without incident.  The few traps located and avoided or inactive.  By that time, Irin stirs and wakes up.  "You can put me down now."  There is some amusement in her tone, but also a bit of embarrassment and worry.

Django leans over and sets Irin on her feet. "What happened?".

Tump looks up at Django, then back over to Irin. "Did you see anything?"

Irin rubbed her temples.  "I...I had a dream, I think.  Some kind of waking dream.  There was this - I dunno - creature?  It, no, she looked kind of like us, but not.  Her head was shaped funny, like some kind of sea creature, and it was reddish.  She was very kind, but sad.  Said something about Ossus and finding knowledge to overcome the Star Gods."

Irin took a deep breath and let it out slowly.  "She said the Star Gods were blocking her somehow and she could not speak for long.  I-I think we only spoke for a couple of minutes before she kinda faded out."

"Did she have one of those crystal swords? A red one?"

Django glances at Tump and raises an eyebrow.

Irin gets a confused look on her face.  "A wha- a crystal sword?  No.  I didn't see any swords.  She wore simple robes, mostly whites and light tans, the color of sand.  I didn't see any equipment at all."

"There was a man, at least, I think it was a man. Dressed in black robes and a mask that covered his whole face. He didn't exactly seem so nice though. Called himself Darth Makross. He stood there, holding a sword just like those in the pictures. It glowed red and the light from it filled the whole room. He knew my name." He pauses for a moment. "My real name."

Tump looks back toward the felled statue. "He said the Jedi that settled here still have a presence, and that it was somehow repelling him. And that in order to take down the uhh, Zibeti Valzino he called them, we would have to seek the power hidden on Moraband in the Horuset system. He said the Star Gods found a way to sever the connection from something called the Force and that's when everything went dark. The Long Night, he called it."

"I didn't get a vision, just a voice. Said go planet side. Didn't specify what planet though. As fraggin' weird as all this is, at least it let's me know I ain't completely lost my mind. Had the same voice talking to me in the tunnels of Mechis".

Vyctor is quiet as he boards his vehicle and starts off for the ships.

"What did the voice sound like? Male, female, raspy with mechanical tones?"

"Sounded male. Middle aged maybe. Was different from the one I heard on Mechis".

"Sounds like we all got visits from different ghosts, and all of them are want us off this planet. Question is captain, which one are we gunna hit? Moraband, Ossus, or some place else?"

"Niether. The voice said go to the surface of the planet. My guess is it meant Najedha. The one we passed coming in for a landing on this moon".

Vyctor looks highly skeptical, but defers to Django.  "Which will it be, Captain?"

"Well, if I'm being honest, I can't say that I trust the creepy man in black robes and mask. Something was a bit off with that one..."
