Archer EMIYA nods and follows you around. Easily keeping up with your far steps by just being that fast.

Once you stop and ask, he summarizes his situation.
"You have summoned me. And I feel the mana flowing to me. But I got no information from the Grail. I sense no other Servants. And I see you don't have any Command Spells. Meaning that you didn't complete the Summoning Ritual properly. Despite your apparent power."

I nod and say
"That is somewhat true. We are not in a Grail War. But I do need your help with facing what is effectively a mage.

We are in the World of Dreams. And here I am effectively a reality warper. But I am limited by what I think I can do and believe that I can do. So I have been using what I know of magecraft as a crutch to help me do things.

The Mage is probably a danger to any humans that find themselves here. Not to mention other monsters that pray on humans that I plan on fighting.

We both know what Command Spells can do if we are working together. We are not in your world or era. But will you help me?"

Archer thinks for a moment and then replies

"That does sound like something that needs to be done... And the Contract would give me a better connection to you. And you Do know the value of the Command Spells... Do you know the ritual?"

"yes... just let me remember it. Oh by the way. My name is Eli Bumbalough.  Nice to meet you Archer EMIYA."

I think back to the part of Fate/Stay Night where Rin formed a Contract with Saber to face off aganst Caster Medea.

I recall the words and alter them to be appropriate to the situation

"I Announce.
Thy Body shall be under my command and my Fate shall be determined by thy Sword.
Follow my Call if thou would obey this Mind and this Reason.
Obey me! Then I shall entrust My Fate to Your Sword!"

Archer speaks the words formalizing your bond, and you feel a connection snap into place.

Do you plan to do anything outside of practicing while in the dreamworld? Archer seems ready to follow you readily.

"Thank you Archer. I do need to prepare and train before we face an actual Nightmare.  Find the High ground near where I am training and keep a lookout for Nightmares or anything suspicious. Come alert me is you spot anything like that.

When I leave the Dreamworld, turn into your spirit form and try to come with me. Hopefully I'll be able to store you like I did before."

I'll continue practicing while I am in the Dream World for an hour or to more before returning to normal sleep.

Once I get up again, I'll get something to eat and then see if I can find Susan, Mat or the others.

"Such an exciting assignment Master. I suppose Guarding you while you train yourself for battle is a good use of my abilities. And the Archer class IS the best at being a lookout."

With that comment, Archer goes to some nearby High ground and keeps a lookout with his hawk like vision.

You train in the dreamworld uninterrupted for an hour, as you see Archer maintaining his vigil on a nearby hill.

After training in the dream-world you release your grasp on the dreamworld and wrap yourself into your own bubble of dreamspace, just outside of the dreamworld, to settle down to true sleep. You exert your will to sleep deeply and for an extended period.

----------------------------

You wake up, feeling incredibly hungry as your stomach rages with hunger pangs. Openning your eyes, you see that Susan is sitting in a nearby chair in your room, reading a thick leather bound book, and glancing over at you periodically. She has obvious worry in her eyes, but smiles and comes over quickly when she sees your eyes open.

"Eli, are you ok? I was worried when I didn't see you for lunch or dinner yesterday, and when I asked around no one had seen you. Are you hungry? You should remember to eat frequently, it helps the healing process."

She doesn't actually wait for an answer before openning the door, and telling a novice "Alyr, do be a dear and fetch Master Eli his breakfast." and closes the door again.

I sit up and look at my hand where the command seals should have been and find clean skin.

I smile and say
"I'm sorry I worried you Susan. I am fine but really hungry. I trained a bit in the dream world. And then I wanted to get some actual sleep... then I woke up now...So... I wanted to sleep until I am not tired.... I need to be careful about that. "

My expresion becomes worried.
"...I'm Sorry. That was not good at all. I hope you didn't stay up watching over me."

She smiles at your comment, "I was happy to watch over you, if a bit worried. It was also the only thing I could think of to prevent the sisters from noticing your protracted sleep and deciding to examine what could cause it. Abnormalities are often viewed as opportunities to study in the tower, and I didn't particularly anyone else studying you." She says the last bit with a mischievous smirk.

"I am interested in how you managed to just sleep that long, the body normally would wake long before that..." and she pauses for a moment and puts her hand on your head and closes her eyes, "...But you seem remarkably better, despite not eating what you should have yesterday. It's still important to get you food immediately though." and she kisses you and smiles, "You're full of surprises, most sisters don't like surprises in their warders, but I'm looking forward to yours."

"Oh, nothing interesting, just an assigned reading on prolonged effects of healing. It goes over the consequences of healing armies, both geopolitical and the drain on both the army and the weaver. It's a terribly dull book, as everything it covers is common sense. But such is the life of an accepted, I get to choose most of my studies, but not all."

She sets the book down on the side table,

"I am interested to hear more about gaining control of your sleep, I've never heard or read about this before. It's probably best to not let the sisters know however..."

She looks at you expectantly, clearly expecting you to elaborate on your enhanced control of sleep and the dream world.

"I am thinking that the ability to enter the Dream World is unrelated to Channeling. Sometimes normal people make it to the Dream World. I'm thinking that it just takes discipline to control the process. The process used to train yourself to recognize that you are in a Dream Seems to be eventually result in you eventually figuring out how to enter the Dream World on your own.

One of the best ways to start recognizing that you are in a dream is to keep a dream journal and write what you remember when you wake up. Eventually you'll recognize that you are in a dream.

Back where I was from there was no danger from going Lucid in a dream. But here the process takes you to the Dream World. Although it also seems possible to create your own dream 'bubble' to do what you want in it.

Basically after my training I Decided that I wanted actual sleep. So I created a dream bubble and Apparently slept until now. I will need to check how I am feeling after I eat."

"That matches up well with a few of the books I've managed to read on it so far, although they're all written with the assumption that true mastery would require channeling ability, and only base stumbling around is possible to the uninitiated. But it's a point of contention.

But clearly you're making progress where those writing the books haven't. I would be careful letting many know exactly what you've learned though... they can sometimes come up with long excuses for how long one needs to stay when it's in the Tower's interest."

You can see she is a little torn saying the last part, and anytime she's had to say things that aren't exactly inline with the Tower's normal directive.

"But what you're talking about with a dream bubble I've not come across in my readings, I wish I had the talent of dreaming, to better understand what you mean. But one always wants to learn more I suppose."

"With discipline and effort I think you could make it into the Dream world too.

Admittedly It is a rather dangerous place to be now. But useful for scouting and getting information you normally shouldn't be able to.

As for the Dream Bubbles... I suppose it's a bit of an unintuitive metaphor. Basically I am making a comparatively small dream space that separates from the greater dream space that is Tel'aran'riod. I think most people form these normally when they dream. but sometimes they get too close to  Tel'aran'riod and enter there.

Sort of like how a soap bubble combines with a much bigger soap bubble.

Conversely forming a bubble involves pulling the space around you and splitting off from  Tel'aran'riod. Somewhat like blowing a bubble from a loop of soapy water. But you are on...? In...? a part of the bubble.

"That makes sense, but manipulating the farbic of the dreamworld enough to form a bubble around yourself... I'm glad your training there is going so well. I will try the methods you mentioned to enter, but you're right I need to be careful, we all do.

So what do you plan to do today? After I force feed you all the food you should have eaten yesterday that is." The novice gets back with a number of large trays shortly after Susan comments on that, which Susan takes from her and thanks her.

She begins setting out the meal while looking at you about what your plans on the day are.

I wait until the Novice leaves before continuing.

"For today's plan I would like to find and talk with Matt, Nynaeve, Egwene, and Elayne. Since I haven't seen them in a long while. Otherwise I would like to spend the day with you."

I exaggerate sniffing myself.
"But before that I should probably take a bath."

I start eating. But comment
"There is another method that helps me enter the Dream World.

While going to sleep I Meditate. It is somewhat similar to Swordmaster's Flame and the Void and your Blossoming Flower. In that you are quieting your mind and forming a void. Being Aware but not actively Thinking. Thoughts come and go but you don't hold on to them or pursue them. I find the best way for me to maintain that Awareness is a four count synchronized with your breathing with deep breaths.

While you are doing this, your body is falling asleep but your mind is aware. Eventually your mind will go to sleep too. But you tend to be more aware in your dream and it is easier to recognize it as such. And that puts you in the Dream World for some reason.

A lot of this I figured out on my own. But I did manage to find a teacher there. The wolf The First Light of Dawn Cresting the Hunting Field, or Light for short. I managed to convince him that I want to clean up the mess I made by making that Nightmare... there are so many things I need to do...

Basically the Nightmare was made when I tried to scan myself with Structural Analysis to figure out the nature of my body there. I tried to put the findings in a book to insulate myself from paradox. But the book form a clone of me that takes after one of Min's viewing of my possible futures. The swordsman and channeler. He immediately attacked me with... Balefire... or is it called Banefire... whatever it is, I retroactively erases you from existence. I barely managed to block it and escape.  And I was knocked out for a day or two from the shock... I did see how he formed it. I think I can copy it."

She smiles and nods, "Matt's been a difficult one to keep an eye on, I think he's chafing at staying in the tower already. I should warn that Nynaeve in particular is irate after her return... with Egwene and Elayne not being the most pleasant to talk to. Their penance was announced to the entire tower yesterday... penance is normally private between the mistress of  novices and the novice in question. Rarely does an Accepted receive one, as is Nynaeve's case... Or rather off three of their cases now. I don't think getting to wear the ring has soothed them ego or the bruises they've formed scrubbing pots though..."

She listens to your explanation, brow furrowing when you mention being trained by a wolf, but she lets you continue. You get the feeling she's employing a learned trait that helps with dealing with Aes Sedai, waiting for the pause before launching into questions.

"You found... a wolf? To train you? How can that work, and why would a wolf be useful to learn the dream world? And what is structural analysis, I feel like I should know based on how you said it but I've never  heard of the like. And there's a clone of you? In the dreams? How would I be able to tell if I see you in the dream whether it's you or your clone? And how can we warn the others without endangering you, they could get badly hurt. And are you sure about this balefire or banefire thing? I've not heard of a weave like that, and I've been reading... a lot. And I would think the battle ajah of all ajahs would know such a powerful weave."

She then takes a deep breath as she realizes it's impossible to be answered if you never stop asking questions.

"Verin Sedai mentioned to me before that Wolfbothers and Wolfs had a connection to Tel'aran'riod. They found that out when Elyas was at the Tower. Apparently they call it the Wolfdream. Apparently Tel'aran'riod Serves as a afterlife for the wolfs where they wait to be reincarnated back into this world.

So in effect they are native there. So in effect they are native there. and one of the best ways to learn about a place is to talk to a native.

Structural Analysis is the Technique or visualization that I use to read the history and other facts about an object in the Dream World. Like how I found out about the A'dam, The channeler leash.

I am not sure about how you can tell if it is the real me. That is part of the reason that I need to kill the Nightmare clone as soon as possible. I could set up a password or something. But you expectation of the Dream me knowing it my allow him to know it.

This is a thorny problem. I did notice that he seemed to use...Channeling exclusively. So you might be able to tell if you ask me to manipulate the Dreamworld And I do something that is impossible with Channeling.

As for the Banefire. This thing messes with Time by destroying things in the past. That can cause all sorts of problems. This is something that I would think they wouldn't want in wide spread use."

"But how do you talk to wolves, even if they are knowledgeable with the area. It's not like they can speak... or can they? I don't know much about wolfbrothers, I'll have to try and dig up a book on them. Perhaps Verin would point me in the right direction."

She shivers at the mention of the A'dam, but otherwise doesn't comment on it further.

"Perhaps it's best that I just run if I see you in a dream for now, until we figure something out. I can always wait to talk to you during the day anyway.

That's odd though, there are weaves that are banned, but knowledge is normally a thing that is prized in the Tower. To not only be a weave that is unused, but that I wouldn't have come across in reading..."

She sighs,

"There's just so much to read in the tower, and I never know which sisters to trust anymore."

"Well. I know that the wolfs are actually intelligent here and that Wolfbrothers and Wolves communicate with each other mind to mind. The fiction of my homeworld would call it telepathy.

I tried before with Hopper but messed up and hit myself, Hopper, Perrin and Elyas with that splitting headache. Normally back home, nothing would have happened. But here I can attempt it, even though I messed up the first time. I know it is possible and I think I could do it. Therefore I could in the Dream World.
Maybe I could put the experience to use and do it in the physical world.

As for the Clone, It is probably wise to run from me in the Dream World because I am not sure what the Nightmare would do. If you see me you need to wake and escape the Dream World. Because he has my trick with the hyperspace traveling. So unless you teleport without him tracking you, he will probably be faster.

Perhaps the Banefire is a forgotten weave like the Traveling you mentioned before."

I think for a moment and continue

"... Damn my curiosity sometimes. I thought of something I want to try. I am curious if I could communicate mind to mind with a human like the Wolves and Wolfbrothers do it... If it works, it would be an excellent way to discuss dangerous things without anyone overhearing it. Would you be willing to let me try it with you?"

"I don't think that it would count as channeling. Elyas was here before and the Aes Sedai examined him. If his abilities where somehow connected to channeling, the Red would have hunted him down and gentled him.

My dreaming stuff might be related in nature to Wolfbrother stuff. And so far my Dreaming hasn't been detected by the Red.

I seem to have fairly good control of when I use It. I think I would be able to sense if I started drawing on It.

But you are Right. Doing weird things in the Tower would probably be a bad Idea. Let's wait until we are both out of the Tower before I try.
