I realized today that Combat Formation is so much cooler than I thought.

It stacks.

No wonder Cadian's always have Initiative!  They can get it for default.  10 man squad?  No problem everyone gets a +10 to Initiative if they all take it instead of Double Team.

As a Tier 1 Talent that's a pretty cheap Initiative bonus...for everyone.

Welp I almost died twice. First time I was hit by a greyhound bus, the next time my docs tried to kill me because I was prescribed 3 different types of pain medication, and no one double checked what else I was prescribed.

Yeah, I haven't tried bothering him in other ways yet but I probably will.  I agree with the hope cause will loss of car and crazy storms that can lead to some bad stuff.

Yeah my luck is pretty bad sometimes. But I'm also luckiest during the bad luck? It's weird. Like I survived getting hit by the bus, with little injury, when I should've been dead.

I’d take astounding good luck while I’m having bad luck any day.  It may suck to deal with the bad but at least you’ve got a lot of good on your side rather than none or just even more bad.

It’s good to hear that at least you seem to be doing okay post all that crazy.

Yeah worst bit was a fractured arm, but with how quickly I heal I will be back to full health in a week or so, and able to get back to work.

Agreed, best look to the silver linings and just take the bad with a "well, that's life."  Like when I was going through chemo, at least that's when I got introduced to Voltron.

I like to think luck tends to split in both directions :)

So Zilch you try to get a hold of the GM at all?

Yeah I PM'd him here back in late February and then rMail'd him end of March/beginning of April.  Haven't seen or heard a peep which is of course not normal for him but you know that too.  He's got two other inactive games, one he last touched in Oct of 18 and the other at the end of January this year about a week before his last check-in here.  He's in one other game with me but it's a dead one and I just checked and he hasn't popped in on that one either.

Damn, been getting a bad 40k itch recently and I can't forget about it with the other games I'm playing right now.

I've been thinking about running No Surrender (read: idle thoughts when bored at work), if that's something you might be interested in.  aCs work as a GM has been inspiring and a bit of a rarity here on RPOL.

Yeah it has been.  After two and a half years of playing and a massive coming and going of extra players coming and going it's been a hell of a fun ride.

And yeah I would be interested...never played in any of the published material for any of the lines and made it all the way through.

Well, it'd probably take longer than a PhD to run all the way through, but I figure with pre-printed material most of the heavy lifting will be done and it might last longer than the first round of kombat.  We'll see.  Busy month at work so I likely won't get around to formally launching until June.
