The Incendiary Detonation is the aqua square... but it only affects enemies anyway... so at least Kalarel suffers 2 fire damage as he starts his next turn inside... yeah, awesome :-(

Hello, everyone! I will be your new healer and attack handout guy. Working on my sheet and background now, but look for more from me soon.

The most important question for you all is: who among you has good melee or ranged basic attacks? My planned build was going to be a guy who hands out attacks & charges. If nobody here has a worthy melee basic, I may switch gears :-)

Welcome. Stahl started out as a beastmaster, with both ranged and melee attacks. Those proved a bit cumbersome (I still love the beastmaster concept, but I need to rethink my approach) so I chose the two-blade fighting option, though Stahl is still split between melee and ranged. So, neither my melee nor ranged basic attacks are optimized.

But, that's just me. Warfryn has eldritch blast which is a fine basic ranged attack, and Ignatz is at least a little more optimized than Stahl for melee attacks.

So, your idea could probably work fine. Feel free to roll any of the attacks you grant Stahl. You can even have him shoot his magical arrows, if you want.

Ignatz is a raging barbarian. About as melee as they get.

Take your time, I don't think we will meet you down here in the Keep just yet... unless Kalarel has you strapped on the altar for a sacrifice ^^

I added "cursed" to Kalarel's status.

With the amount we're missing attacks in this fight, some DMs would be tempted to take it easy on us, by fudging the enemy's rolls and tactics. I'm not aware of our Storyteller ever having done this, and I'm glad since my preference is that DMs not do this for me.

As I've probably mentioned, I'm okay with Stahl being killed, if that's the only way for a PC to fail here. I've always got other concepts I'd like to try.

Edit: I also ended Warfryn's invisibility which stemmed from eyebite more than a turn ago. I have to say I like the idea of divine challenge plus eyebite, assuming one is able to hit the target regularly.

I've seen fights with real dice go pretty much the same way.

I will say that if I'm going to miss, I prefer to miss big, bigger than even a ton of optimization could have fixed.

Hello Greyband! Ignatz's basic attack is +9 to hit and it deals 2d6(reroll 1s)+6 damage. If it's a charge that's an extra +1 damage, if one of those d6s comes up 6, the attack does an extra +2 damage. So, yes please hahaha.

Ignatz, you pretty much just guaranteed yourself the melee hits, barring exceptional tactical situations :-)

Warfryn, you have a good ranged basic?

Eldritch Blast; 1d20+7 with damage of 1d10+4

I'd like Saskan to move into flank, Commander's Strike or Lead the Attack, and heal me, but I don't know what powers he has left to use so I can't post his actions myself.

No healing left, he used both already.
So second wind or potions are your options.

That said, he can provide the attacks, and I can do that now?
