The return to the Lich's tower is uneventful, and almost immediately the Lich appears before you as you enter the main hall "Excellent, you return in a timely manner, and I approve of your handywork if that corpse yu bring with you is anything to go by." the smile the Lich gives you is a little unsettleing but this is no surprise.

With a wave of his hand the Lich magically lifts the body from its carrier "If any of you are interested in watching me work feel free to stick around. I've already sent my appriciation to your masters and patrons and I'm sure they'll be interested to hear your accounts of this eve. But before you go, know that I owe you more than just payment so if you require my expertise in the future, feel free to drop by."

Being dismissed in this manner is nothing new, but you feel that it is likely that whatever the Lich learnd will not be the end of it and that more still needs to be done. After all you are sure that six cultists was not all Pelor can muster.

"I would see what secrets the dead yield."

Makaria said, placing her glaive almost reverently along the wall.

"I'd love to see you work." Lilith purrs as she follows behind Makaria and the Lich, the sensual grace back in her walk now that the serious work is done, at least for now.

She looks over her shoulder at Nyenna and winks and there is much promised in that simple gesture.

At the Lich's approval, Nyenna grins right back, though her predatory smile can't quite match the undead man's at being unsettling. "S'my pleasure. I live to painfully slaughter the Empire's enemies, 'n' I'm sure most of us would agree."

She returns Lilith's wink, and remains in the room as the Lich prepares his ritual.

Orson's grin slips a bit, and he shifts on his feet as he replies "Well, guess I may as well see what the bastard has to say. Appreciate the kind words, by the by."

Xul relinquished his parcel with no complaint, watching the others offer to stay and watch he himself shook his head, "I go to get healing, the words of dead weak meat or the process of shamans holds no meaning to me." Nodding respectfully to the lich the lizardman turned and would seek out healing for the wounds he had recieved during the final battle...

Markus nods to the group and takes his leave. He too needed to rest and thank his lord Asmodeus for delivering victory. "Well fought all, the inquisitors chose wisely." He places his hand on his chest and returns to his chambers.

The Lich begins his preperations for the ritual, as he does so the door swings open; in the doorway stands a tall dark haired women, her hair reaches down past her waist, she wears a long coat with many pockets and a wide brimmed hat. At her sides are many pistols and on one of her pockets is a badge of office within the Inquisition "Good, looks like I'm not going to miss the show." she walks into the room, looking at the remaining occupants she stops next to Nyenna and gives her an approving grin and says somthing useing odd words  she then gives Makaria a tip of her hat, pauses a few seconds staring a Lilith with a grin and gives Orson a wink and a quick salute "Relessa Initari, Inquistor Lord and this ones teacher." she says lightly bumping Nyenna on the shoulder with a fist.

"Ah, then we may finally get a straight answer."

Makaria said, returning the nod with a slight one of her own.

"Your protege decided to pick a fight for all of us with a man named Ricart, in service to Mathias Arllen, Marquis of Thèràlon."

Despite her ignorance of local regional politics, it appeared that the Tiefling had a sharp mind for details, getting even the obscure pronunciation right on the first try.  She reached into her belt pouch, pulling forth one of the insignia that the guards had been wearing.

"However, when I made clear that she need explain herself, she was disappointingly lacking in meaningful details.  She promised that no ill would come of it, and that if it should then it would land squarely on her shoulders.  Given that the Pelorittes that we just exterminated bore a similar insignia..."

She pulled a second seal from her bag, this one coated in ash.

"... it would appear that she is correct.  However, I would appreciate you shedding light onto the matter.  She is quicker with her weapons than she is with her words, and a full accounting is needed here."

Lilith winks at Markus as he leaves and returns her attention to the Lich, looking forward to whatever profane ritual he has planned.

She looks up as the door opens and the tall woman walks in and watches her, returning her smile as her fangs ache and lengthen somewhat.

"I like her. If you taught her to do the things she does then I like you." She runs her tongue over her fangs.

Her smile turns into a scowl as Makaria ruins the moment and tattles on Nyenna in front of her teacher and the Lich.

The Lich lord seems not to notice the intteruption as he levitates the corpse into the middle of the ritual circle, meanwhile Relessa puts an interested look on Nyenna "Oh? Messing with House Arllen again are we?" she gives looks from Nyenna to Makaria "Nyenna has some personal issues with the great lord of House Arllen." she says with huge amounts of sarcasm at the mention of the name "Thèràlon is or rather was the capital of the Elven kingdom before Kerandos came upon it, and Mathias Arllen was the leader of the forces that took it.
As such, he now rules over the once Elven Kingdom as a gift from our glorious leader, the fat bastard also can't keep his prick in his pants when it comes to elves." her face becomes deathly serious "Although most of that 'Noble' house; both family memebers and those affiliated with them have that particular fetish. Beyond that... well thats for Nyenna to mention when she feels like it."

Relessa turns her attention to Lilith and a approving smile spreads across her face as she puts more of her wait onto one leg, "I'm glad she's left such a good impression, although I must admit she's a quick study and she has picked many more 'tricks' from me over the last few years." the smile on her face becomes alot more suggestive as she finishes the sentence.

Lilith smiles and her fangs grow a little more as her hunger begins to build. "Has she now...perhaps once things have finished here we can go somewhere more...private and discuss things amongst the three of us."

Judging by Nyenna's face, even what Relessa says is a bit much. Still, she smirks as Relessa makes it clear that not all the details are, or need be, forthcoming.

She responds to Lilith's teaching comment with a shrug. "Eh, a lot of what I do is self-taught... the Lady Relessa helped me hone my skills, not pick 'em up in the first place. 'S'why she picked me; not many around here who appreciate black powder like it deserves. 'Kindred spirits', y'could say. Gotta stick together." The next comment gets a grin, and she looks to Relessa. "Perhaps, with the leave of my teacher of course."

While Makaria had been dismissive of Lilith's excessive flirtations before, something had changed.

Likely as not, it had much to do with how the Vampire had comported herself during the battle.  The Telmarian Confederacy was a nation of birthright, with few more honored than that of the warrior caste.  In revealing that her predatory instincts were just as fierce on the battlefield as off it, Lilith had likely earned the right to pursue her hungers without judgement in the foot soldier's eyes.

Relessa just laughs and turns her attention to ritual, but not before she gives one last look to Lilith and says "Oh this should be an interesting evening indeed."

Within moments the Lich starts up his chant for the summoning, calling forth the remains of the spirit that lingered in this world and binding it to his will to stop it from twisting the awnsers he would be looking for into lies and falsehoods.

Shortly a ghostly presence settles into a form in the centre of the ritual circle and the Lich begins his questioning "Tell me, foolish follower of the Sun Lord, what is your purpose this eve?" a moment of silence passes, it is clear that whatever reply the spirit is giving only the Lich can hear the response.
"How many more of you are there?" again silence as the spirit responds and the Lichs eyes narrow in anger.

The final question "Where are you planning to strike?" as the spirit give the awnser the Lich growls "By Vecna, I should have know!" he banishes the spirit back to the realm of the dead "I must inform the High Lady of this matter, you should all prepare yourselves. I would not be surprised if she calls upon you for stopping this foolish plan of these Pelorites." he stomps a foot "They've set up points to attack with their explosive barrels, and use it as a distraction for their true plan to assult the Inquisiton barracks and the Citadel."

The flirtatious smile leaves her face and Lilith snarls. "I'll go find Marcus, one of you gather Orson, the other Xul. Maybe one of us will come across that thrice-damned Goltinder.

Lilith moves and is gone, heading for the one place she is sure Marcus would go: The Temple of Asmodeus. She leaps down flights of stairs, pushes past people or snarls at them to move. Now is not the time for niceties.

Orson huffs quietly. "Well, guess it serves me right for talkin over her earlier." He inclines his head to Relessa. "Always good to see a new face. Your girl here has an admirable hand on those guns. Maybe you should show me a thing or two sometime." He says , his smirk returning as the ritual fades.
