The knight of Asmodeus, finds himself in the temple to the Lord of the Nine Hells that resides within the Inquisitons halls.

A familiar voice breaks the man from his thoughts "Markus? What brings you to halls at this hour?" the Master of Arms; Darius Vale stands there a concered look upon his face at the way Markus holds himself.

In reply to Overlord (msg # 1):

Markus kneels and begins the process of doffing his armor. "I sense a change within myself. I extinguished the flame of another faith, one of Pelor's celestial." Markus was not one for many words, and his emotions made it hard to choose the words to express himself. "I am it...the celestial flame became one with my own." He would need to show the priest.

Removing his breastplate from his armor the Paladin channeled his new found energy. Large wings made of flame erupt from the blackguard and swirling fire licks his fingers."What am I becoming?" He asks pleading to Vale, still on his knees.

Darius raises an eyebrow as Markus removes his breastplate, and he takes a step backwards as the flaming wings erupt from his back.

"Hell's teeth, I've never seen such a thing occur in our kind. If what you say is true, then I can only say that you've somehow obtained a potential hidden within you.
" he walks next to the kneeling paladin and places a hand on his shoulder "Fire has become your ally; from a celestial source true, but such flames can be drawn from Hellfire just as easily."

At this point he shakes his head "Everything that has happened, there is no true answer I can give you, but I would ask you to continue to talk with me if any more changes occur with you."

Lilith makes haste to the temple, grabbing a passing Inquisitior as she does. “Sound the alarm, the Citadel and barracks are going to be attacked by followers of Pelor.”

When she makes it to the Temple she stops before the guards. “I must see Marcus Oncebright at once. Followers of Pelor plan to attack the Citadel and Barracks.”

In reply to Darius Vale (msg # 3):

"I have no doubt that Asmodeus' will guide me. The hellfire within burns brighter than anything the wretched pelorites can muster." As the blackguard flexed his fiery wings and stood up he turned to Lilith who entered the temple. He stood mostly naked, as he had stripped down bare in front of his god's temple. His body was covered with deep scars and his hands were severely burned.

Suddenly with a cry of pain the wings turn to ash and the man falls to his knees, this power was fleeting. Something he would need to use sparingly.

"The fools dare assault the citadel!?" His voice rises in anger as he stuggles to stand. "Quickly Lilith, come help me with my armor and you shall feast again on the blood of the heretics."

I am ready to regroup with the main group unless you have something else in mind!

Lilith bares her fangs but there is no trace of humour or flirting when she does. She is angry and all business as she helps Markus into his armour, lifting pieces into place and checking the straps. Her eyes are a crimson furnace when he is once more encased in metal.

“Let us show these Sun-worshipping fools a taste of the Hell that awaits for daring to raise arms against us.” She snarls as they head out of the temple. “Infidels. They shall burn in his name.”

Darius laughs at the news "Such brash foolishness, even if they plan to attack with the dawn their Sun Lord will not aid them against our might." he makes for the door "Makus, bring your companion with you. Your reward for the eveing was sent to the armoury, once you have that I will inform the Commander and then you can rejoin with your cadre."

In reply to Darius Vale (msg # 7):

Markus bows to the inquisitor, and turns to face the ram-headed idol at the center of the temple. Closing his eyes the blackguard recites his holy oath of conquest. Douse the Flame of Hope; Rule with an iron fist; Strength above all. Completing his prayer to Asmodeus, he then joins Lilith and makes his way to the armory.
