"Did you do anything useful when you were thinking big thoughts? Come up with any revelations that might be useful? Find anything? Learn anything? And I think the answer to your question is lying in pieces all over the area."

She points to an arm. "There's an answer. There's another."

She points to a head. "Big answer there."

Xul's gaze shifted at the pointed out parts shaking his scaly head at the final comment, "That is not a big answer, that is mating gift from metal meat over there." The lizardman jerked a thumb in Markus' direction before checking his pouch and nodding in satisfaction with what he collected, wiping his handaxe off on one of the non dismembered guards. "Now that practice is over, small meat, lead us to warehouse."

Lilith appears to melt and gives Markus huge doe eyes, the effect somewhat spoiled by the whole "portal into Hell" look they have.

"Oh Markus, you gave me head as a mating gift. You're the most wonderful betrothed ever! Now I need to find the perfect gift for you!"

In reply to Makaria Thriceburned (msg # 60):

"Heretic or not, if his soul is worthy he may serve beyond life. We are not their judge..." The blackguard's eyes fixate on the smoking charred remains of the guard. His interest had quickly waned from the questions of nobility or justifications of the assault.

As the smoke cleared Marcus shakes his head in clarity. Now aware of Lilith's advance his face turned from a strange sadistic smirk, to a frown of disdain.

"We need to find the leader of these sun-burned idiots. Let's make sure one of them talks next time."

Orson chimed in again at this point. "Good thing your old buddy's been takin a good look around, eh? I know exactly where these fucks are based, and how we can get in. What do ya say to that?"

Nyenna stretches, kicking Ricart in the ribs as she does. "I knew where they were based all along. Just had to confirm with m'sources b'fore kickin' in the door. Good work, though, hunter boy. Guess yer as good at findin' things out as yeh are at pullin' off that tight black outfit under yer armor."

"Aww, yer too kind." Orson responds with a smirk. "Shall we continue? Promise ta pull my weight this time."

Makaria swung the tip of her glaive out and upward, slamming the plated butt into the ground with a sharp retort.

"Answer the question, who is Thèràlon?"

Nyenna stifles a snicker. "Who? Thèràlon is a place, O Mysterious Masked Mistress. Used to be an elven kingdom." She clicks her tongue and winks. "I can't do all yer work for yeh, M'Lady. Go crack open a book once the mission's done if y'wanna know 'bout Thèràlon."

Xul glanced over and gave a shrug of his scaled shoulders, "Don't know. Don't care. We have a mission, dead master sent us to kill cultists, we kill cultists and whoever gets between them and us. Simple task." The lizardman crossed his muscled arms across his chest impatiently pacing back and forth, the cold of the night bothered him and standing about worrying about a non issue made him want to grab the little meat and hurry on on his own, good sense and a desire to not eat buckshot however, kept him in check.

"Yet you seem content to let us do your work for you here."

She gestured with her free hand towards the dead soldiers.

"I can see why you have so many enemies, if you intend to use the Emperor's time and resources to foot the bill for your own past.  I've asked you twice now if this ends here,
 or if there will be repercussions.  Twice now you have demurred. Why is that?"

OOC: Posting this here because somehow it was sent to Nyenna in a PM. I'm at a loss.

"She has a point, you know." Lilith says in an uncharacteristically serious tone. I don't mind killing but if I'm doing it for someone else I want to know. And if it's taking away from our mission I want to know."

Her voice suddenly takes on a seductive purr and her eyes seem to encompass the entirety of the world to Nyenna. "You want to answer Makaria, don't you beautiful."

Nyenna blinks and shakes her head, frowning slightly. "Did yeh just... w'zat a vampire thing?" Raising one eyebrow, she shifts her weight to one leg and rests her hands on her hips. "If there're repercussions, they'll be on me. 'N'as for lettin' y'do my work, I never asked yeh ta fight 'em with me. Y'coulda fucked off 'n' left me to kill 'em m'self if y'wanned to." She shrugs. "Way I see it, 's'best if we move on and take out the sun-fuckers."

Lilith frowns, quite put out at having her attempt at vampiric hypnosis so casually slapped aside but quickly recovers.

"What do you mean, 'vampire thing'? I simply asked a question. Shall we get moving as we are standing in the midst of something of a mess."

"Had I 'fucked off,' I would have deprived the Empire of one more agent to do the Emperor's will.  You are still a stranger to me, and you are asking me to put quite a bit of faith in your words.  That is not a small thing that you ask.  Yet Asmodeus's servant speaks true.  We have a mission, let's get to it.  We will see where the truth falls in the end."

With that she knelt, sweeping up the pouch Markus had thrown at her feet along with all of its spilled treasures.

"Alright, are ya done? Because I'm pretty eager to tell ya the plan I've got." Orson says, after this episode seems to have calmed down.

“Please, Orson, thrill us with the genius idea you’ve come up with.” Lilith says in a very dry voice as she uses one of the dead guards cloaks to clean her armour and weapons.

Xul took out a piece of fresh meat to chew on while he waited and listened, turning his attention to the shady meat hoping this new plan involved leading them all to the warehouse.

"Well, there are two main entrances to the warehouse. One is the main door, which is guarded and takes a password to get in. There's also a side door that's locked, but they probably won't have much guarding it. I was hoping the dragonborn could get us in there, but I cant tell where he's gone. Then, the other idea I have is above. Must of these warehouses have a skylight, so we could have Wings fly herself up there and give us some low-risk supporting fire. Markus or Xul can tank the front, supported by Nyenna or lilith, while the rest of us go in the side and cut them down from behind. Any questions?" Orson finishes and takes a breath.

"Like wolves killing the beast." Markus muses for a moment. "The pack attacks as a whole but only one mouth is needed to rip the throat." Markus nods in approval toward Orson. "Your plan makes sense Blackwall. I will be happy to kick in the door and the teeth of these heretics."

If Makaria took umbrage at being referred to as "Wings," while the other's had their proper names employed, it didn't show on her abyssal features.  There was little enough insult in being named for flight, when the other's were bound to trod the earth with heavy foot falls.

"I have means of learning the password, if we want to spend some time at it.  However, if the plan is just to charge in and slaughter them all, sneaking through the front door shouldn't be required.  Your plan is adequate."

"I have other methods of gaining entrance. I can come at them from the back whilst those of you coming in from the front engage them. They'll never see me coming." she says, slightly distracted at a stubborn bit of blood that won't come out of her armour.

"Ahh. Damn me, I do know the password. It's 'Lord and lady's light guide us.'" Orson says somewhat sheepishly.
