R.E.B.O.R.T. moves over to the bottom of the stairs to inspect Sigurd and his injuries. Before he can really lean in to check him out, he looks over at Beloc. "The undead signatures above appear to be fading fast. They are fighting something. Or each other."

The construct kicks the severed head to the side and helps Sigurd to his feet.

Sypher blinks his eyes a couple of times, then the impulse from the command washes through him.  He mentally glances back at Shiaran, mostly through hearing and combat awareness, but he remains staring at the vampire.  Kill.

Adjusting his grip on the sword, Sypher grins a slight grin as he looks at the vampire.  "With pleasure."  He strikes twice in rapid succession...at the vampire.

As the blade slashes into the monster's flesh and the fire does it's own work, Sypher smirks.  "You didn't say who to kill, and I LIKE her."

"Awww, Sy, that's so sweet!"

Sypher's target reels back 5ft from the attack and the fire damage, hissing loudly. "You filthy cur! We are infinite!" he taunts. He fires a burst of automatic fire towards Sypher and Shiaran, though in his haste the accuracy is terrible. Sypher is struck twice in the side of his thigh and has his shoulder grazed for a total of [11 DMG]. Shiaran is more fortunate, only receiving a small hole in the collar of her coat, narrowly missing her neck. As the vampire fires, his size rapidly diminishes as he transforms into a bat. The downed vampire on the parapets next to you evaporates into a cloud of mist. Though his natural healing prevented his death, this one wants nothing to do with the pair of humans wreaking havoc around him.

The shots ring out loudly and echo on the stone walls. Shrieks and hisses can be heard from down in the courtyard, as well as to the north beyond where Garyl is laying low. Whatever thin veil of subterfuge the group had is now gone.

Sigurd manages to dislodge a chunk of splintered wood from the shield he carries and begins jabbing it into the chest of the beheaded vampire that Beloc took care of. Once it breaks the skin, he starts using the heel of his boot to drive it in. It's hard to say if the barbarian is being thorough, or is simply angry at having the wind knocked out of him, but his methods are effective none-the-less.

"Let's move."  Shiaran heads north on the parapet toward the remaining vampire there.  As she moves, she lets loose with two shots from her off-hand with the RG.  Both shots hit, the second dead center mass, but without special enhancement, the mundane weapon does nothing.  It does not matter to Shiaran.  She has drawn the monster's attention with her accuracy, making her the greater threat than Garyn.

As she stalks forward, she taunts the thing with a smirk and a wink.  Her brother strides behind in silent confidence.

[Shiaran draws aggro on the vamp on the wall?]

Garyl ducks low as Shiaran's shots pass overhead, before sprinting from cover to try and get behind his comrade. "Give the word and I'll hose him down" he says, showing a disciplined soldier's bearing, weapon at the ready, magically enhanced vision on his target.

Hearing the gunshots, Beloc glances over to the other side of the courtyard and realizes the need for stealth is quite over. He plants his right hand on the stone railing and hops up and begins to make his way north. He quickly examines the area in the north-east corner before cutting left to position himself behind the lone vampire in the northern part of the courtyard.

As Beloc gets within view of where his supposed adversaries are, he's met with a familiar sight. "Yo, gimme... a hand... will you?". Gazra's hulking form has managed to scale up the wall from the outside and currently has not one, but both vampires in a mangled heap. He has a knee on one's bloody head while the his hands are wrapped around the other's neck, strangling it. A silvered dagger protrudes from the chest of the vampire being held against the ground. The sickening crunch quickly identifies itself as the neck of the vampire being strangled, though the creature's natural healing keeps undoing the damage only for it to be reapplied.

Beloc grins wickedly. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised."

The elf quickly hops down and moves over to the vampire Garza is currently throttling. He places his blade on his neck, just below Gazra's hand and swipes left. The vampire's eyes go wide as the rest of his body falls to the floor, leaving Gazra with a vampire ice cream cone in his hand.

"Only one of them needs to talk, right?"

Turn 3

With the gunshots ringing a dinner bell for the remaining 4 vampires, each begins to converge on Sypher and Shiaran's position. The vampire turned bat and his misty compatriot are already flitting away to the west, knowing they've been beat but unwilling to give the ultimate sacrifice of their immortal lives for Elm's cause.

Now that the silence has broken, R.E.B.O.R.T. shifts tactics to more of an offensive one. The guns mounted within his forearms immediately pop out, and the warforged begins to hastily apply a thin coat of oil on them.

*click* *click* *click* The sound of ammunition reloading rapidly can be heard as he finishes the application.

R.E.B.O.R.T. uses Rapid Infusion to apply Undead Bane to his weapons as a 1 round action rather than 1 minute. 80 minute duration.

Sypher follows Shiaran until they get within closing range.  Then he lunges forward ahead of her (she steps to the right slightly as he passes to her left).  The flaming katana hits above the vampire's right thigh, right at the hip joint.

Sigurd gains his footing and steps over to Rebort. His gnarled shield and gleaming sword at the ready to defend his friend and give the construct a wide berth to make well placed shots.

"That's the way...I see it" says the large warrior, grunting and catching his breath as he drops the severed head and manhandles the pinned vampire into a more cooperative posture. "Do your thing" he says to Beloc.

Shiaran follows up Sypher's attack with a slash at shoulder height.  She doesn't quite get to the neck, but scores a deep slash across its collarbone area.

Garyl takes to the edge of the upper wall, looking down in the courtyard. With his magically enhanced vision, he starts lining up targets and his heavy machinegun does the talking. Bullets rip and tear through a pair of vampires closing in on the edge of the wall. It does seem to give them a slight delay in their heading, before the pair splits in two different angles to avoid clumping up. Even still, with a mundane weapon Garyl can only hope to do so much against moving targets at range.

Beloc raises the silvered blade up so that it's at eye level with the vampire. "Well, he's got three seconds. Where is Elm?"

The vampire just stares at Beloc with its cold dead eyes and hisses at him.

Beloc looks over to Gazra. "Finish this one, perhaps one of his buddies in the courtyard will be more forthcoming."

He pivots hard and heads left across the stone railing to flank from the north.

The vampire damaged by Sypher swings clawed hands wildly, but the flames of Sypher's blade are enough that it doesn't follow through when no opening presents itself.

The two vampires fired on by Garyl, having split off from one another, manage to flank either side of him, running up the walls and defying gravity. The north most vampire closes in within 15 foot of Shiaran, while the south vampire strikes Garyl hard as fast. Unlike Sypher, Garyl takes the brunt of the clawed blows. Large gashes splay across his chest and stomach.

The 4th vampire has taken notice to Rebort and company in the north east corner. It makes a mad dash to where Rebort and Sigurd stand firm, closing to within 30 feet of their position.

Turn 4

As the vampire attacking Garyl lands his strikes, a blur of movement passes by. Both of the vampire's hands drop to the stone floor. Oro stands defiantly between the wounded monster and his prey, his two-bladed sword reflecting moonlight. "Hands off" he says quietly. Vampire 6 howls in pain as black blood spatters around his feet

The last round of ammunition clicks into place and R.E.B.O.R.T. opens fire on the vampire bearing down on his position. His targeting matrix hones in on major joints to reduce movement and offensive efficiency. Each shot fired is followed by a very faint white tracer and disperses in a tiny halo upon impact. The first two rounds from each gun strike and pass through each shoulder [15 & 13 DMG]. The next two rounds connect at each hip, causing the vampire to lose its footing a bit [17 & 15 DMG]. The last two shots connect at the knees. The force of the bullets and added anti-undead enchantment on the round cause the joints to nearly explode on impact [19 & 26 DMG]. The vampire skids, face first, to a stop far short of his intended goal and doesn't appear to move.


R.E.B.O.R.T. takes 20 on all his called shots.

Sypher makes two swift, calculated strikes, both across the vampire's chest, making the way for Shiaran's make-shift stake.  The weapon's innate magical power, plus the golden fire do their work superbly.

Sigurd moves forward, cautiously approaching the downed foe. He reaches his sword forward to poke at the undead to see if it still has fight left in it. He suddenly recoils back, letting out curses in his native language as the vampire erupts into golden colored flames that quickly consume it, leaving behind only a charred skeleton. He looks back at Rebort. "Where was that when I was being kicked down the stairs, eh?" he says with a grin.

Gazra looks down at the bloodied vampire in his clutches, and back up to Beloc who is already racing to his next target. "Alright big guy, night night time" he says casually, adjusting his grip and squeezing. Sickening pops resound from the neck of his captive, before the vampire relents and evaporates into a cloud of mist. Whatever the creature lacks for speed in its gaseous form, it makes up for with a deliberate bee line west away from Gazra.

Shiaran takes a torch out of her pack with a flourish and slams it down into the broad gash Sypher had made to the vampire's ribs, doing her best to get it to the thing's heart before the wound closes up.  The damage is severe and her speed is exceptional.  The wood crashes through half-healed bone into the heart with a squelch.  Dark blood splatters a bit, but the vampire lies still, it's healing factor halted.  Skin grows dry and flaky as its flesh begins to shrivel.

Shiaran stands and looks about for another target.

Oro flourishes his weapon again, taking advantage of the momentary shock his adversary is in. Two deep slices form across the upper chest and gut of the monster. Anyone witnessing the exchange would swear the cuts appeared out of thin air and that the tiefling assassin merely flinched. "Had enough?" Oro asks.
