The group moves forward with an abnormally quiet Dwarf. After about 2.5 more miles you reach a spot where the road ahead disappears into a dense bank of misty light green fog.  It restricts visibility beyond it.

 Just before the wall of mist you see a small group of short hairy apelike humanoids, you instantly recognize as Dranabians.  They are dressed much differently than the typical serf populations of  Elandrul however, wearing tunics with geometric patterns and bearing weapons foreign to you such as clubs with stone spikes coming out and brightly colored boomerangs. One  has a spear with a blackened shiny stone tip.

One bears no weapon and is dressed in a white robe with intricate stones set in it. He wears a metal crown around his head.

 2 seem to guard him while the other are off the road slightly to the left exploring the ground looking for something it seems.

The part rounds a bend and is about 200' away when they come into view. All role initiative.

  Nobody is surprised as all were on lookout and nobody was attempting to hide.

Beholding the cultists and their fearsome weaponry and singularly weird priest, Ligeia knows that this will come to blood and lots of it.

"We can't let them find it," whatever it was, Ligeia warns. "I'll flank them from the left."

With cold determination in her eyes, she avers, "We're going to have to kill them," before darting off the road and up to one of the larger mangroves midway between herself and the other party.

OOC Not too sure about distance, but thinking of a full move to the large tree just off the southern part of the road -- 1/2 way there.

Having to implement a slight jog to do so Ligeia reaches her destination about 100' feet away behind a dead tree. The area to the south is what remains of a blighted wood. There are no leaves just forlorn empty boughs.

 The Dranabians stop what they are doing , but the one in the whites robes hisses at them , and the 4 on the North side of the road continue to look for something.

The White Robe figure calls out in Common,

 Do not come any closer this area is dangerous!  Go back!  This is ours to handle!

They two on either side of him watch you all with great alertness.

Rubus walks forward displaying the cross. What is it you seek? We want no misunderstandings here if we all have the same goal. And beware; something dark is close.

Gorn left his swords sheathed and his bow in its case and walked up behind Rubus keeping about 5 feet distance between the two of them. As they walked, "Rubus, if things go sideways, head for the right side of the road and try to use a tree as protection. Ligeia is on the left side, we don't want to group up."

* flaps the reins on her wagon and heads full speed towards the Dranabians.

They have treasure and are trying to hide it!!

The wagon nearly runs Rubus down as she speeds towards the Mist.

  Jenouise stop!!!!

Afamrail tries wrestling the reins away from the clown lady.

Ligeia continues her advance off the side of the road to the next sizable tree, oblivious to the commotion behind her.

 The Dranabian in the robes shouts....


Stop..! You don't know what you are doing. I will have to stop you if you do not not stop!

Not sure what had just happened, Gorn glared back at Alaric, then realized he probably just saved his life. "Thanks...what the hell is she doing." then realizing Afamrail was also on the wagon, "Afamrail, jump if you can." Quickly looking at Rubus, "Get behind a tree." as he started running after the wagon, "Come on." as he motioned with his hand towards Alaric.

Turning back to Gorn Jenousie yells.

There is a huge treasure up there and they are going to get it if we do not stop them!

She moves the wagon forward with determination.

  Hva'ra Wen!  You are on your own.. stop the wagon!!

Heeding Gorn's advice and seeing she cannot stop Jenoiusie, Afmarail jumps off the wagon.

These Dranabians are not the simple type from this area, be careful Gorn!

Rubus point his staff at Jenouise and commands SLEEP!

Afamrail gracefully lands away from the wagon and lands on the road.

Rubus successfully puts Jenouise to sleep, and she slumps down in the wagon.
