Seeing the trouble with the undead man in armor, Afamrail casts Magic Missle Advanced.
Let me help you with that Rubus!

The arrow blasts and severely damages the armored undead taking 12 points of damage but it is still animated.

Rubus essays another attack, but messes up (probably).


00:44, Today: Rubus Elann rolled 20 using 6d6.  Attack. (A 6 on the first 2 dice)

Indeed Rubus merely causes a loud Clank on the undead's torso.

The undead in scale armor has a strange green glint in his eyes as he draws a longsword from it's scabbard, but as soon as he grabs it his hands burn and it drops to the floor with a metallic ring.


The other undead make vain attempts to attack but are slow and mechanical in their movements.

Attacks the female again and she crumbles to the ground destroyed

Alaric subsequently destroys the gnome undead.

Pokes the armored undead with my staff,( but I doubt it helps)

Gorn grab the sword!

Springing back on to her feet, Ligeia attacks the armored one with her (formerly the odd man's) rapier.

13:16, Today: Ligeia Strand rolled 14,9 using 2d6+7,2d6+7.  rapier attack v armored man. +1 dmg for battle anatomy. 2nd roll for penetration.

Wrinkling her nose, Jenouise attempted to strike at the warrior with scale mail once again. "Oh come on..." she muttered to herself as her weapon once again failed to pierce through the armor.

  Jenouise speaks to soon as her thrust does find a gap in the armor causing 3 damage, though the undead warrior still stands.

( to penetrate armor with a piercing weapon, you roll to hit- which you did, then you roll a second time to hit- which I did for you- and you hit!)

Ligeia also penetrates the armor, and finally destroys this stubborn undead warrior!

The undead Aelf remains.

Before the staf's light winks out, Rubus pokes at the remaining undead, perhaps to some effect.

 Gorn sees Afamrail's idea and tries to put down the sword from the undead knight he found at the bridge, so he can grab the sword that burnt the armored undead.  As he goes to let go of the sword he already possesses he somehow freezes up...

 Much as I hate this sword, for some reason I just cannot let it go.

 Alaric is still infused with Afamrail's spell.

He easily hits the undead Aelf causing 8 points of damage with his Urgosh.

Ligeia joins the crowd trying to put down the last of the newly risen to still be standing.
