Sorry, in the bigger picture I mean. Route aside, why would we go in either of these directions? The new guys were basically just told to meet up with the old crew, and not given any further information as to where we were headed and why. Right now they're both just names on a map.

Well, you were near the forest since the adventure hook you chose was to investigate the Silver Forest and the Border with the Fursten Alliance. The landscape has changed slightly due the evolution of my world, but the mission remains the same; find an advantage for Krieghold over the Fursten Alliance. The request from Brother Sul can allow you do that but the world is your oyster. It’s a sandbox, so it is entirely up to y’all where you go.

The mission is clear, but not where we're supposed to go.

Delving deep into the Silver Forest seems a bit too broad to just walk in a random direction hoping to find this old Delius outpost. We can ask Sir Ertogen Yirlith of the Golden Thread for more information, but where is he? In the Wild City?

My suggestion would be to gather some info before setting out. Plot will make it easier in the near future but for now, it is up to the group on how to proceed with vague directions.

I think we should forget about Sir Ertogen and instead try asking the locals about known ruins in the area.

Uriel would know of any ruins inside the Silver Forest, and may know of those close to its outskirts.

Might be a conversation to have since you are at a crossroads. Which way or even which direction?
