      Sorry, but my laptop tried to update Illustrator and it failed.  I tried to uninstall and re-install, but there are still failures.  Need time to figure it out.  Sorry for the delay.

     Corra eased herself down the rough two-foot drop to the cavern floor and shifted southwest to cast light further down the halls.

     Zokarra easily stepped down, and Franna clumsily crawled backwards down the edge cautiously.

     The smooth, worked hallway continued south for a few dozen feet and then turned east.  The craggy walls of the cave extended into gloom to the northwest and southeast.

Admiria jumps down.


" Interesting architectural design. Even before the shift. "

Franna nodded distractedly, trying to fend off a feeling of claustrophobia

"I disagree, I think the craggy wall aesthetic is overused in these caves. Well? I don't see either end of the tunnel, or we can go across into the corridor. I wonder if this tunnel leads outside though?"

Franna looked around.
"Shall we stick to the finished tunnel for now?"

" We are gonna have people behind us, whichever way we go. So let's follow the corridor, and hope nothing is in the shift tunnel. "

     The ladies and Erky made their way into the shallow crevice that split and off-set the hallways.  They could tell from the shape of the worked stones in the floor and wall that the tunnel used to be complete.  Somehow, this rift opened up in the stone, tearing the hallway asunder.

OOC:

Suggestions have been made to continue down the stone hallway.  Just need someone to actually head that way, or another way, as desired.

Admiria walks through the shift tunnel to the corridor then walks down the corridor.

Franna headed doen the main corridor

Zokkara goes along, in front to face any danger. "Aye, the finished portion is much more likely to be inhabited."

     Admiria, Franna and Zokkara crossed the chasm and easily climbed up the 2-foot ledge into the continuation of the smooth-stone corridor.  Corra and Erky, being shorter folk, struggled a bit and Relba held back to lend them a hand.

     Ahead, the hallway zigged to the left, and ended at a large stone door to the east.

Admiria moves forward and searches the door for traps.


07:37, Today: Admiria Moonwhisper rolled 15 using 1d20+5.  Perception.

     The door is not trapped, but does seem to be stuck.

     It is about a foot taller and wider than a regular door.  It is covered in relief of a dragon's head breathing fire, but it is worn and faded.

Admiria frowns.

"Hmm, well Zokkara seems this door is stuck. It could probably use your form of persuasion. "
