Admiria sighs.

" Sounds like someone is harvesting this fungus, at least that is a guess at what the light shoveling sound I hear is. "

     The sounds stop as Admiria steps out of the circle of vines and speaks.

     Zokkara reaches the ground behind Corra.  Franna, Relba and Erky are still 15 feet up in the shaft.

     Two brown humanoid figures covered in thorns turn to face Admiria.  Two robed skeletons with shovels stand befuddled.

OOC:

     Roll Initiative.

     Brown circle is dangling vines that can be chopped apart.

Franna noticed the commotion,  and tried to climb down the rest of the way, drawing her sword once she was on solid ground

Admits draws her rapier she moves along the bottom wall to attack the brown humanoid figure #1.

"What manner of creature are they?" Seeing Admiria attack, she moves to assist her against the first thorn creature.

Relba had no idea what was below her and, not hearing Zokkara's words, was still oblivious.  With fifteen feet left to descend, she took her time coming down, making sure she did not lose her grip or footing and fall some of the way down.  That would be more than just embarrassing.

     Relba climbed down the remaining 15 feet and landed steadily.

     Admiria Moved into the fungus garden and stepped up to attack the first twig blight.  (Roll to hit AC 13)

     Franna continued down the the vines and drew her sword once she was on the ground.

     The twig blights moved to team up against Admiria.  (Action delayed for Admiria's roll)

     Zokkara stepped up to assist Admiria with the twig blights.  (Roll to hit AC 13)

     Corra drew her axe. (Move and act)

     The Skeletons looked up from where they were digging and raised their shovels menacingly.  (Action delayed)

     Erky hung back among the circle of vines.

Having just touched down, Relba assessed the situation as quickly as she was able, and came to a decision.  She moved forward and readied her bow to loose a shot at one of the Twig Blights should either of them present the perfect shot (meaning, she would not be firing into friendlies).  She kept an eye (out of her periphery), on the Skeletons she saw further up, in case she needed to switch targets.

OOC:

     Relba, please let me know to where you are moving?  Also, please roll an attack just in case we need it this turn.

     Everyone:  Your updated character sheets are in your 'character details.'  Use the Google link above your image.

[OOC: OK, Relba will only attack if she has a clear and open shot.  That said, can I have Relba sneak around and attack one of the two Blights?  If so, that is how she will attack, or else she will simply hold her action for the best shot possible, i.e., not hitting any of her travelling companions.

For now, let us say Relba has moved three squares in (to the right).

     Relba moved closer and shot an arrow, but in an attempt to avoid her friends she aimed wide and missed.

     Admiria's spell erupted from her, blasting both twig blights into splinters. (Both destroyed)

     Franna moved closer to Zokkara.

     Zokkara held her action, ready to attack anything that came close.

     Corra moved out of the hanging vines and stood near Franna with her axe at the ready.

     The skeletons stopped digging and charged at the party, brandishing their shovels like weapons.  One got right up next to Zokkara, and decimated it with her maul.  (Vulnerable to bludgeoning:  18 damage)

     The other dashed up to Admira and snarled. (Move and Dash)

     Erky peeked out from the vines but stayed out of sight.

     Another cave opened up to the north.  Closed wooden doors lead east and south.

     The melody caused the skeleton to rattle with fear.  (10 psychic damage)

Relba would move one square forward with her bow at the ready, and take a shot at the remaining obstacle.  Her last shot had missed everyone, so if she missed this one, at least she could say the same ... hopefully.

     Relba's arrow went straight through the skeleton's skull, shattering it in half.  The undead creature crumpled to the ground.

     The combat was over.  There was an opening to the north, and doors to the east and south.

Relba quickly looked around the chamber, even though she was quite certain none had escaped their barrage, and then stepped over to the skeleton, or what remained of it.  She toed it with her boot, then looked up and directly at the door to the East.  "Since this appears to be the closest door, should we search it first?" she asked the rest of the party.

Admiria walks over and looks at the door.

Franna went to back up her friend

"Skeletons make for quick searching of the bodies", joked Zokkara, as she moved to take position next to Admiria.

     Relba sees the space is full of carefully cultivated mushrooms, fungi and a few saplings.  A luminescent fungus that clings to the walls and ceiling gives of a low violet light.  The air is damp and chilly, filled with odors of decay.  The ground is covered in rotting vegetation, cave animal remains, and loose earth.  A wheelbarrow filled with old fruit and dirt sits nearby, with shovels and rakes in the northeast corner.

     Admiria went to the eastern door and looked it over.  It was made of carves stone with some dragon iconography that was long worn away.  It was not locked nor trapped and she didn't hear anything beyond.

     Corra wandered over and kicked at one of the skeleton skulls.  She also noticed another door to the south.

     Franna moved up behind Relba, glancing around uncertainly.

     Zokkara strode over next to Admiria near the door.  Her darkvision allowed her to see slightly deeper into the dark cavern to the north.  For now it seemed empty.

     Erky huddled close to Corra.
